My review about this college.
Placements: The placements are good compared to several other B-schools. Currently, the average package is 23.2 LPA with a 100% placement rate. From semester 3 onwards students become eligible for the placement process. The prominent recruiters include Citi Bank, ICICI Bank, Amazon, Flipkart, Reliance, LG, Relax, Morgan Stanley, Media. Net, Loreal, etc., are the regular recruiting companies. The students get an opportunity to choose the domain according to their interests. The highest package goes to around 18 LPA and the average is 9.5 LPA. I am aspiring to become an entrepreneur and start my venture after getting the degree.
Infrastructure: The course here represented to us is new and also according to today's need for the student to go on further in their future. Individual air-conditioned rooms are allotted to students. The mess menu is managed by the mess committee and covers cuisines of different types. Food quality is very good as compared to what one usually gets in hostels. Almost every facility is there and is well-maintained the hostel has reasonable charges that must be affordable.
Faculty: Numerous faculty members of the college are well-reputed in the industry. Many of them are constantly invited for workshops in the corporate world and they also take part in global discussion forums. Teaching methodology is based on case studies and numerous textbooks that give us a deep understanding of the concepts. Exam days are very hectic as we have 2 exams each day without a break. Exams are of high standard as expected from an IIM. Apart from that usual classes are quite chilled with some hectic days in between with assignments and submissions. All faculty are nice and supportive of us. Practical and live theories, case studies, and also field trips are conducted.

It's a massive and wonderful experience there.
Placements: Over 91% of students are placed in our department. Many are placed in large recruitment agencies. The maximum salary offered will be 25 LPA, and the minimum salary will be 10 LPA. The average salary was around 17 LPA. Many big companies like TCS, Google, Infosys, HDFC Bank, ICICI Bank, and Cognizant come to recruit students. Nearly 84% of students received internships in various industries. The top roles offered in my course are marketing manager, financial analyst, and human resources manager, etc.
Infrastructure: My college infrastructure is very wonderful. The course has state-of-the-art infrastructure such as classrooms with Wi-Fi, state-of-the-art laboratories, a well-equipped library, and access to online databases. The rooms have all the necessary facilities. Food is designed to keep you healthy. The college has adequate medical facilities and facilities for sports.
Faculty: The teachers here were very helpful and knowledgeable. The quality of teaching was excellent. The course is perfectly aligned with the curriculum, and it prepares students for the industry to come. The course helped us to adapt and build our confidence. Semester exam hard but passing rate is 87%.

It is a good place to pursue an MBA. Our college has a lot of clubs and committees.
Placements: Almost 100% of the students from our course got placements. Our college is worth the money. There are a good placement committee and very engaging faculty members. They are easily approachable all the time, and placement records are decent as per the past years. Our college conducts online classes in a decent manner and conducts a lot of webinars at a regular interval. All committees are student-driven.
Infrastructure: Currently, our college is operating on a temporary campus. Our college will shift to a permanent campus in 2022 or 2021. There are good infrastructure and very engaging facilities. Our college has all the needed amenities. It is a easily reachable place in Jammu, and we can reach the campus in 15 minutes from railway station and airport.
Faculty: All faculty members here are helpful and good. They are well experienced. The course structure is very good.

Institute is good and has a good hostel life.
Placements: Approximately 90% of the students are placed. The highest package was 20 Lacs and the lowest 6 Lacs. Top recruiting companies are ICICI Bank, Motilal Oswal, Diageo, Tata Power etc. Around 99% of students got internship in Schindler, Amul, Aqualite, EY, Byju's, Ram Group etc.
Infrastructure: Sports and game facilities are awesome. There are various sports competitions held. Infrastructure and facilities of course/department is superb. Currently IIM Jammu has a temporary campus, so permanent campus would be built in 4-5 years. Hostel and mess facilities are good.
Faculty: The teachers are very helpful, qualified and knowledgeable. Teaching quality is good. Course curriculum is relevant for industry. We can contact faculty members regarding doubts anytime. Faculty members have worked on research papers. They teach using practical examples and through case studies.

I am dissatisfied because of the online mode of teaching.
Placements: Our college offers average salary packages of around 10 LPA. Top recruiters of our college are from sales and marketing domain. The percentage of the students who got placed was very high in the previous year since that IIM tag we all our carrying big recruiter to the campus. Still, I believe there's a lot on which our placement committee needs to work upon to bring better companies to the campus.
Infrastructure: Since due to COVID situation we are not able to reach campus, but we have a Transit Campus right now, wherein 3 students are sharing a single room. The access to all the resources is made available, and also a hard copy of study materials reached our home for the first trimester.
Faculty: Teachers in our college are qualified and helpful, but due to the online mode of classes, we are restricted to a certain level, and it is difficult for both the students and the teachers. But by teaching us through case studies, classes turn out to be very engaging. Few teachers are new in the college as the batch size just doubled from the previous batch.
Other: The campus is situated in the heart of the Jammu city, and we have a new campus coming up in a few years. You can reach here via rail, road or by air with very good connectivity.

I am satisfied with the institute till now.
Placements: Around 90% of the students from the 2018 batch got placed. Many interviews were postponed due to COVID. The lowest salary package offered is 6.5 LPA, with a lot of variable pay. Almost 100% of summer placements were provided for 2019 batch.
Infrastructure: Till now we haven't visited the campus. The support from the library and IT department are good. The gym was recently renovated, and we have a badminton court, cricket field and a basketball court. Accommodation is offered on double sharing basis.
Faculty: Teachers are experienced and very good. There are few disturbances due to the new online experience. Faculty members are experienced in teaching and industrial, which help us to get a better understanding and make us future-ready.
Other: Seniors are very supportive and very motivated to take club sessions to ensure our development.

If you are not getting any new IIM and don't want to take a drop, then do join here.
Placements: Placements in our college are very good. The average salary package offered to our batch was around 11 LPA. Almost 95% of the students got placed from college. In the summer placement also there were 100% placements. The average stipend offered was around Rs. 45,000.
Infrastructure: The institute is currently running from a non-permanent campus in Jammu city. But we get every possible facility. The mess and hostel quality is also good. The hostel is on twin share. We get almost every necessary equipment to play on the campus.
Faculty: Faculty members in our college are good. Their way of teaching is very efficient. Whenever we have any doubt, we can reach out to them. The academic curriculum is filled with many types of case studies, assignments and quizzes. This surely makes a student ready to cope up with the future challenges.

IIM Jammu is one of the best among young IIMs.
Placements: In this COVID-19 era, IIM Jammu managed to place its all students with a handsome salary which is remarkable, as many old institutes in India are unable to do so. Being the youngest IIM, the institute is on early growth days and yet there is a lot to achieve. At IIM Jammu, roles are offered to all streams, and majorly for marketing.
Infrastructure: Currently, IIM Jammu is on the temporary campus, which is around 5 kilometres radius from airport, railway station and bus stand. Still, we have a quite good campus. Our college provides all the games to play, gym and double sharing rooms. The permanent campus is supposed to be ready by 2022, which is far better than older IIMs in term of technology, etc.
Faculty: Faculty members at our institute are great. They are very supportive and knowledgeable. Most of the faculty members have an experience of teaching at old IIMs. Apart from faculty, the kind of culture in the institute is very great. Every night we have a session of different clubs given by seniors about practical life, which is very insightful.
