IIT (ism) Dhanbad is very renounced institute in field of geology and mining. With old building.

Placements: 4 students placed out of 10, 40%placed. The highest package 5.75 lac CTC. The lowest CTC 3 lac and average is about 4.5 lac. Top recruiter Gammon Engineer and contracts LTD. Top roles offered in my batches As Engineering geologist. 100% students got internship in industry and research institute.

Infrastructure: All facilities are available in my classroom, as well as labs, library's etc. Quality of food is very good and hostel rooms are new and clean. For all kind of indoor and outdoor game facilities are available. Like basketball, table tennis, snooker etc.

Faculty: Faculty members are well qualified and experienced. Course is very relevant to work in hydro power industry, mining and construction industry. Teaching staff is very renouned person in their field that helps to student's to gain knowledge of field work and understand the working life.

Other: This course is relevant to industry application, so I choked this course that why I get job surely. All extra curricular activities are organizing in compus time to time.
