Yes, IIT Indore is recognised by University Grants Commission (UGC) and is approved by the All India Council for Technical Education (AICTE). IITI is recognised as an Institute of National Importance by the Government of India. The institute is ranked in various categories by NIRF, QS World University Rankings, etc. 

The IIT Indore highest package placements for 2022 was INR 56 LPA whereas the highest package - IIT Hyderabad placements - 2022 was INR 65 LPA. The average package IIT Indore was INR 23.50 whereas at IIT Hyderabad, the average package was INR 20.46. Hall of Residence for students at IIT Indore is located on the permanent campus of the Institute at Simrol. The newly constructed building of the hall has the latest amenities. IIT Indore JEE Advanced Cutoff 2024 was concluded after the last round of cutoff. The cutoff was ranks for the General All India category candidates was ranged between 1389 and 10894. The closing cutoff rank for BTech (Hons) CSE was 1389 in 2024, 1385 in 2023 and 1204 in 2022; which shows that the cutoff witnessed a declining trend for the course. IIT Indore cutoff 2025 has been released for the third round, for candidates seeking admission to BTech specialisations. The cutoff was released category-wise. For candidates belonging to the General AI category, the cutoff ranks varied between 1628 and 10601. Looking at the cutoff list, we can say that getting admission at 5000 rank in JEE Advanced is possible, if belonging to the General AI category.

To get admission to IIT Indore for BTech, candidate must attain the neccessary rank as per the cutoff list. The cutoff has been released for round 3. The list was released for different categories belonging to the All India quota. Among the General AI category, the cutoff ranks were closed between the range of 581 and 4510. Therefore, if student want to seek admission irrespective of the coursre specialisation, then they must attain a rank of 4510 or below. However, if the target is top branches, such as CSE or Mathematics, then it will be difficult to get admission at this rank. 

Opening and Closing rank depends on the category and quota of candidates. For general category under All India, opening rank was 3599 and closing rank was 3828. Cut off are different when it comes to other categories or female candidates and even domicile of home state. In All India, opening and closing rank for female candidates was 7395 and 7458. Admission to BTech in Electrical Engineering at IIT Indore - Indian Institute of Technology is based on the scores obtained in the entrance exam JEE. Applicants are advised to confirm what category are they applying while checking for cut offs.

Admission to IIT Indore is based on the national-level entrance exams such as JEE Main and JEE Advanced. To get admission for the BTech course, candidates must:

• pass Class 12 with a minimum of 75% aggregate marks in Physics, Chemistry, and Mathematics 
• secure a rank in JEE Main exam within the top 2,50,000 students
• appear for JEE Advanced with the required rank
• lastly, after appearing for the entrance exams, students are eligible to appear for the counselling process.

IIT Indore offers Ph.D. course across 16 specialisations.
