- The JEE Advanced 2026 application form is expected to be released in April 2026, and the examination will be conducted on May 17, 2026.
- The JEE Main 2026 registration for session 2 has closed for IIT Patna admission to BTech, BArch and BPlan courses. The session 2 exams will be conducted from Apr 2 to Apr 9, 2026.
- The IIT JAM 2026 counselling registration is open for admission to the MSc course, with the last date being set on Apr 15, 2026. Also, the first admission list will be declared tentatively on May 25, 2026.

After JEE session 2 is completed, only those candidates who are aiming for IITs need to start preparing for JEE Advanced after clearing JEE Main. Those who are above the 98th percentile should start preparing for JEE Advanced as soon as possible. The cost of BSc at IIT Patna has total tuition fees of around INR 2.4 Lakhs - INR 10 Lakhs. Students must also pay other fees such as hostel fees, security deposit, etc.

No, the GATE registrations for IIT Patna 2026 MSc admissions are no longer open. The GATE registrations were closed in the month of November 2025. The GATE is scheduled to take place in the month of February 2026. Candidates who failed to register for the GATE are required to wait for the GATE 2027
