Top most institute for PG.

Placements: Honestly, there is no 100% placement; they forced students to PPT up for placement so they could get the tag of 100% placement. But, in honesty, they have quality placement. In the last year, one student from college got a 55 lac package; here, the average package we can expect is 12 lacs from the first semester when companies start visiting for placements. The 3-month internship is mandatory for each student. Recruiting companies are Wipro, BNY Mellon, Goldman Sachs, Amazon, Microsoft, Dell Technologies, Cisco, Google, and Dalmia Bharat.

Infrastructure: IMT campus never sleeps; you can see students at any moment in campus. You got utmost exposure here. There are lot of books and journals and you receive regular mail from library regarding new journals. The whole campus is air-conditioned. Classrooms are big there are sports events organized in campus. Hostel rooms are double, occupying 2 almirahs and 2 single beds; 2 tables and chairs are for each room. Rooms are also air-conditioned, and living in a hostel is mandatory as part of the residential programme. They give me four meals a day.

Faculty: I was from a mathematics background and always had an interest in finance, which is why I chose this course. Teachers are very highly qualified; there are 60 students and 10 teachers in the batch. All teachers are very helpful; they all have more than 10 years of experience. All of them are doing research work. The exam system is trimester; it is difficult if you give 100% attention. If you take a lot of leaves, you can not cover the syllabus, as it is very big.

Other: Only high fees are the issue; otherwise, the college is the best.

Students are theoretically ready for industry.

Placements: Almost all students get placed from the campus. Some are willing to get better offers from off campus, only those people don't get offers from the campus. Companies like Goldmann Sachs, Google, DE shaw, Credit Suisse, royal bank of Scotland etc. come for hiring.

Infrastructure: Infrastructure is top class with a good library, playground, volleyball and basketball court etc. Even the hostel rooms are quite good. They have good sports facilities on main campus as well as hostel. Only problem is that students of first year need to stay in hostel which is 3 kms away from main campus.

Faculty: Teachers are highly qualified and knowledgeable. You can't question their experience or knowledge. The course curriculum is also quite relevant. Students are theoretically ready for industry but practical exposure only comes after the summer placement process starts.

I am absolutely satisfied because of the faculty members and placements provided here.

Placements: Placements of our college are good. Lots of top companies like Amazon, HCL, HDFC Bank and many more visit here for placements. The highest salary package offered is up to 22 LPA. Top roles offered are management trainees. Internships are provided to almost all students, i.e., approximately 80% of the students.

Infrastructure: The infrastructure of our college is very good. All the facilities available here like Wi-Fi, labs and the library, and they are very good. The quality of the canteen and mess is good, and there are also medical facilities in our college. Sports and games room and gym room are also available.

Faculty: Teachers here are very good with lots of experience and knowledge. Their teaching quality is good, and they provide many case studies and workshops. Many industry experts also visit our campus so that students can be industry-ready. The course curriculum is structured in such a way that students don't lack in any of the things.

Other: I have chosen this course because I was very much interested in it. The campus surrounding is good, and extracurricular activities conducted here are awesome.

Placements: Roles like risk manager, investment banker and a lot of sales roles are offered to students in our college. Companies like DE Shaw, Goldman Sachs, Macquarie and BlackRock visit our college for placements. Our college provides very good exposure to case competitions which help to start up new companies.

Infrastructure: Everything which you need like badminton court, basketball court, lawn tennis, gym, air-conditioned rooms and mess are available in our college. House-keeping service is also very good. The best place in our college is the library. Moreover, the campus is lush green.

Faculty: The course curriculum is perfectly designed as per the industry requirements. A lot of industry experts regularly visit our college and update students with recent trends. They also guide students on how to adapt to the rapidly changing industry technologies.

It has a really good infrastructure, and the student council is very helpful.

Placements: There are 100% placements in finance in our course. The average salary package offered here is 15.3 LPA. Top recruiting companies for our course are BlackRock, Deloitte, Bank of America, RBS, Goldman Sachs, DE Shaw, etc. Almost 100% internships are provided in companies like BlackRock, Birla, Credit Suisse, HSBC, Silverdale, Macquarie Group, RBS, DE Shaw and Goldman Sachs. Our college has good placements for finance in 2020 batch.

Infrastructure: The library provides huge access and memberships for researches like CRISIL Research, ACE, EMIS, ET Intelligence, Euromonitor, HBR, HBR Ascend, Financial Times, EBSCO, SAGE, WARC, Statista, etc. Our college provides 24x7 ambulance service, along with one in-house doctor. Critical Thinking
Shortlisted candidates will be called for critical thinking test based on score obtained in CAT/ XAT/ GMAT. Candidates will be evaluated on two parameters – critical thinking and written communication skills.
Group Exercise
Shortlisted candidates will be called for Group Exercise. Candidates will be formed into small groups and will perform a Group Exercise. The group will be given a problem to solve or a task to perform, which they must do together with discussion among group members. Candidates will be evaluated on five parameters – contribution of ideas, leadership potential, interpersonal skills, innovation & creativity and communication & attitude.
Personal Interview
Shortlisted candidates will have a personal interview of approximately 15 minutes, during which he/she will be evaluated on four parameters: academic orientation, communication skills, versatility (extra-curricular activities / general awareness), as well as values & maturity. Candidates with work experience will be additionally evaluated on the relevance of their work experience in relation to the PGDM program.

As per the admission criteria of IMT Ghaziabad. The test scores of CAT, XAT and GMAT are only acceptable at IMT Ghaziabad. Hence, your CMAT score is not applicable here.

Finance jobs might be more difficult (and as a course, finance is not something you can breeze through) but they pay very well! Marketing or Product jobs are extremely interesting & creative though they pay slightly less on
