Great college, great faculty and good placements.
Placements: In our college, most of the students are getting a package in MNCs. The average package is about 4.5 LPA and the highest package is 19 LPA. Top recruiters are the MNCs like Infosys, TCS, Wipro and Cognizant etc. Most of the students getting there favourite technology and work in IT sector who are in CS branch.
Infrastructure: The college provides us all the facilities, labs, classroom, library and extra classes for advance coding and the latest technology. The college also have a teams and society where we can take part and join with them for extra curricular activities. Canteen and medical rooms are also there.
Faculty: Teachers are very helpful and support us to give our best and always ready give us guidance and clear our doubt any time even after college time. Curriculum is based on AKTU university and college also provides extra class and event to learn new technology in our field and advance coding for betterment of student. We can easily clear all the semester exam if we can study well and with understanding, passing percentage is 33 percent.
Other: I chose computer science because I have interest in coding and technology. If you chose this course, start practice daily and make interest in this. The college is also organises events and hackathon on regular basis to help student for there learning and practical knowledge. There is also fest in every year.

Review of Inderprastha Engineering College, Ghaziabad.
Placements: Scoring more than 70-75% of marks is required for a student to get placed in civil engineering. The highest package offered for civil engineering students was 6-7 Lacs per annum. L&T, Shobha Developers, HCL, etc., come here every year. The percentage of students who got internships was 30-40%. The college is NBA and NAAC accredited. The roles offered are assistant engineer, designer, site engineer, drafter etc.
Infrastructure: The infrastructure is average. The library is good, and the labs are average. No Wi-Fi or AC facilities are available except for 1st year. Mess food is okay, and kadi chawal is good. Sports are average, and no training is provided. Snooker, badminton, basketball ball and gym facilities are available. The canteen is good and is pocket-friendly.
Faculty: The teachers are good, highly qualified have great knowledge. The teaching quality is good of a majority of faculty, but some teachers are average. Students are industry-ready as they are taken to visit sites every 3 months. The curriculum is relevant. Site visits in industries and government departments are available.
Other: Interest in construction lead me choose civil branch. The course is difficult. Events are good, like Kanika, Miliand Gaba etc.

I am satisfied with the college, faculty members and campus life.
Placements: Only 1 student got placed out of 63 students that too in a low construction group called ACE Construction Group as a site engineer. Else got placed in Infosys or somewhere in CS and IT domain. It was a good college for CS and IT placements, but I would not recommend it for civil placements. Infosys, Sopra and Wipro were the major CS hunters. The average salary package offered was 3.6 LPA.
Infrastructure: The campus was not enabled with Wi-Fi. But there was a good library. We also had good hostels with Wi-Fi and good infrastructure. The mess was good, and we also had canteen facilities with a good coffee shop. There were 3-4 TT tables and 3 badminton courts. We had classrooms and labs to support students in understanding practical things.
Faculty: Teachers in our college were very helpful and knowledgeable, especially the faculty members of core subjects. They had good industry experience that helped students getting on-field knowledge. Teaching quality is excellent as most teachers are in the college for some years now.
Other: It is an excellent college for co-curricular activities. Events and fests held are excellent. But they need to work on space management and sports facilities.

Average college for people residing in Delhi NCR.
Placements: Placements are decent enough where 60% of students have been placed. Average package is 5-6 Lacs. The lowest package is 3-4 Lacs. The highest package goes up to 7-8 Lacs. If you are expecting a package in this range. You can opt this college without any second thought.
Infrastructure: Infrastructure is very well maintained here with huge classrooms, labs and library. The campus is equipped with a good Wi-Fi connection. Labs are very equipped with instruments. The cafeteria of the campus has been renovated a year ago which serves good and hygienic food.
Faculty: Faculty is not that knowledgeable here. Yes, they are supportive and will extend you help for your curriculum but their education level and teaching quality is not up to the mark. The curriculum is relevant and it makes students industry ready for the future.
Other: The crowd is average here. This college is located in Ghaziabad so you can expect average looking crowd here. People belong to all backgrounds. The campus has a huge playground where all events and fests take place.

The college provides good infrastructure and placements.
Placements: The placement rate of the college in the year 2017-2018 was 93.37%. The placement rate in the year 2016-2017 was 91.97%. The placement rate in the year 2015-2016 was 92.6%. The placement rate in the year 2014-2015 was 80.2%. Almost 138 companies visited the campus for placements in the year 2017-18. Companies like Infosys, Sopra, IBM, Cognizant, Bosch, NIIT, Samsung, Microsoft, Gates, AFCONS, Dell, and Mphasis visited the campus for placements.
Infrastructure: Training and placement department of the college has a dedicated infrastructure setup of 90x30 square foot. The campus is fully air-conditioned. There are 20 GD rooms/conference halls which have a seating capacity of 100-150 students each. There is a dedicated fully loaded pantry for corporate hospitality and other related requirements.
Faculty: Teachers in the college are helpful. The quality of teaching is good.
They use powerpoint presentations and smart classes for teaching. Faculty members are good, and they provide their contact numbers if students need any help regarding studies. They ensure regular and close interaction between industry personnel and students.

First of all let me talk about CS and IT. If you are thinking that CS is very well reputed and IT isn't then that is not true. In USICT, CS and IT students study all the same subjects with an exception of just 2 or 3. During the placements there is no difference in CS and IT. Companies allow students from both the streams to appear for the placement drive as they both meet the same minimum threshold that the company is expecting. All in all, there is not much difference between the two.
Now coming to USICT and MAIT.
USICT is on #1 rank and MAIT comes after it. Google it and see for yourself.
USICT has significantly low fee (Around 50%).
USICT's campus is better than MAIT's. I visited both the campuses before making a decision and I felt that University's campus in dwarka is very spacious.
The facilities/opportunites at USICT are more in terms of sports, workshops, placement drives etc. That is what I have heard (Since I haven't attended MAIT, I cannot be sure of this point).
If you study at USICT, you will be at the university. There sometimes are things that require students to travel to the university to get them sorted out (It has happened to some of my friends. Either the want to enquire about something from the univeristy or fill some challan for back examinations or something or need some document like transcripts etc.). If you already are here then it'll all be easy for you. Everything will be accessible to you.
USICT has limited intake, only 3 courses with 60 seats each. Getting into it is not easy. Also, since it is at #1, students from other colleges will respect the fact that you are studying at USICT. You will be in the best college of GGSIPU there is, for B.Tech.
