IIFT Delhi will now accept CAT score for admission to MBA (IB & BA) for the 2024-2026 batch. CAT 2023 exam is scheduled on Nov 26. Additionally, the IIFT Kolkata 2024 application form is expected to be released in the first week of October. The application window will further be open till the second week of November. This application schedule is as per past years' data. Hence, are expected dates.
As per the details collated from various sources on the internet, about 140 seats are allocated for MBA in International Business at IIFT Kolkata. Admission to IIFT Kolkata’s full-time MBA (IB) programme 2023-25 is subject to IIFT’s Written Examination scores along with students’ performance in the Written Ability Test (WAT), Group Discussion (GD) or Extempore and Personal Interview (PI) scores. The final selection process also incorporates academic consistency, academic diversity, gender diversity and work experience.

IIFT Kolkata MBA Admission 2025: How to Apply?
The IIFT Kolkata application process is carried out in online mode. The application fee is not refundable. Incomplete applications are not considered after the prescribed date. Candidates must make sure to share the correct and valid email address in the form as most of the intimations are given via mail by the Institute. From 2025, the institute will grant MBA course admission based on CAT score. Thus, the candidates are required to complete the CAT application process. Aspirants may have to apply through the IIFT website as well. Further, the IIFT registration is a four-step process as mentioned below:
Step 1: Visit the official website of NTA i.e. (https://iift.nta.nic.in) to apply online for IIFT MBA admission.
Step 2: Login and fill out the online application form as per the details given in the Information Bulletin of IIFT programmes.
Step 3: Upload photo, signature and certificates and pay the application fee to complete the application process.
Step 4: Pay the exam application fee and hit the 'Submit' button.

IIFT Kolkata MBA Application Process 2025: Important Documents
Candidates are required to carry the below-mentioned documents when applying for IIFT Kolakata MBA admission:
- Filled in CV Form
- Attested copy of all academic mark sheets/certificates (Class 10, 12 & Graduation)
- Copy of all Passport pages having official entries
- An undertaking that the candidate has not appeared for any MBA entrance examination for that year such as CAT/XAT/IIFT, etc.
- Two letters of recommendation. Preferably, one of these should be written by a current supervisor or manager.
- The Indian nationals who are living, working, or studying abroad should produce with the application a certificate from the Indian Embassy/High Commission/Consulate of the country where the candidate is currently based, stating that the candidate has been resident in that country continuously for a period of not less than 18 months as on 31st December of the admission year.

Final selection to MBA is subject to a valid score in the IIFT Entrance Exam followed by WAT-GD/PI rounds of selection. The shortlisting of candidates for WAT-GD/Extempore-PI is done based on the IIFT entrance exam percentile including the sectional cutoffs. As of the latest guidelines the seat intake in IIFT Kolkata for MBA is 140 seats. The selection is done by the IIFT entrance test which ia conducted by the NTA, CAT.
