If u are study oriented, you can join this college .

Placements: Placement records in the college was decent. Many companies visited our college. Approximately 80% of the students got placed. Average package was 7 LPA, and the highest was 20 LPA. Mostly companies were service based only, few were products based company who visited. For internship, you have to be self aware and fight for it.

Infrastructure: Overall the infrastructure is good. All the basic facilities are available in my college. The building is beautiful. Classrooms are big and awesome. Medical facilities are available too. Hostel is decent. We have Wi-Fi and electricity supply, which is also good but the mess food is not very good .

Faculty: Teachers are very highly qualified. They are very knowledgeable. They always give us right guidance. They are very friendly, they always listen to our problems and give us the right solution. Course curriculum is a bit old like all other colleges.

Other: I chose this course to get into the IT sector and earn good money. And I also love coding. Curriculum is a bit old & it can be improved .

Great coding culture and excellent placement opportunities.

Placements: This year, almost 91% of the students were placed at IIIT Lucknow, despite the recession. This is noteworthy, as many colleges, including the top IITs, experienced a decline in their placement statistics. The average package at IIITL is approximately 29 LPA, with the lowest package being around 10–12 LPA.

Infrastructure: "There are AC labs open 24/7 around the college for students to study. The classrooms are fully air-conditioned. The hostel provides all the basic facilities. There are two hostels: one for girls with 3-seater rooms, and one for boys, where dorms accommodate approximately 5–10 boys in a single room.

Faculty: The teachers here are knowledgeable and the course curriculum is very advanced compared to other colleges. You will start learning coding in the very first year, and in the first semester, you will be taught C and web development. The semester exams are not that difficult; you just have to study one week before midterms and two weeks before exams.

Other: I chose this course because it is quite advanced. The location is great, as Phoenix and Lulu Malls are both within 2 kilometers of the college. There are two annual fests: one called "Enspire," held in the odd semester, and our main fest, "Equinox," held in the even semester. The college has excellent connectivity, as it is located approximately 6 km from the airport.

Less college life, a small campus, and above-average placements.

Placements: Above 90% of people are placed every year. Every girl will be placed, as girls' opportunities are greater. The highest is above 1 crore approximately, the average is 33 lakhs, and the lowest is 12-15 lakhs. Top recruiters are Google, Zomato, GSOC, Meesho, Uber, Rubrik, ServiceNow, Blinkit, Amazon, and JP Morgan, mainly.

Infrastructure: Average infrastructure with average Wi-Fi facilities. Average quality of mess and canteen. The course structure is good comparatively because only computer science-related subjects will be taught here, unlike other colleges. A small canteen is available, but all deliveries are available, so no problem with the canteen.

Faculty: Courses in academics are useful and good; it is not like other colleges. The course structure is quite good. The course curriculum is relevant as here only computer science subjects will be taught in academics, unlike other colleges. Semester exams are at an above-average level; it is not easy, and it is difficult to score grades here.

Other: Campus life is not too good; coding culture is comparatively very nice. Events and all are average, like 2-3 events or fests in 2-3 months, hardly. The crowd is less here; intake is very low. Around 60 people for the branch and only 4 CS branches, no other branches will be.

B.Teach in Information technology course from the IIITL.

Placements: There were ample number of placement opportunities given to the students at the IIIT Lucknow. Around 40-45% students of the information technology get placed at our college. Top recruiting companies were Airtel, Infosys, IBM, Wipro etc. Around 60-70% of the students also get internships at our college.

Infrastructure: This college provides a good infrastructure for our course. For our course, all the required facilities are provided by the students. Wi-Fi, labs, library, canteen, hostel, parking, sports etc. facilities were available for the students. All these facilities were of good quality and well maintained by the management.

Faculty: The faculty of the college was helpful and supportive to the students of our course. All the professors at the college were well-qualified and knowledgeable. The quality of teaching offered was good. This course curriculum at the college was relevant. Semester exams were of moderately difficult level.

Things to know before taking admission into IIITL.

Placements: Almost 90% of the students from the current passing batch are placed. The highest package is 82 LPA, the average is 26 LPA, and the lowest is 10 LPA. Top recruiting companies include Google, Rubrik, Atlassian, Harness, etc. About 70% of students got internships in companies like Google, Flipkart, PayPal, Uber, etc. Top roles offered include software engineer, data analyst, data engineer, developer, etc.

Infrastructure: There is no proper hostel for boys, as girls and boy hostels are not separate. Girls occupy the 1st, 2nd, and 3rd floors, while boys are on the ground, 4th, and 5th floors. Boys are also placed in dormitories, with 12 boys in a single room. The medical facility is not up to the mark, but the food is good.

Faculty: The faculty members are good, but there is room for improvement. The hostel has a strict attendance policy of 75%. The teaching quality is moderate, varying across subjects. Some subjects may not contribute to placements but contribute to overall growth. Semester exams range from moderate to tough, with a passing percentage of 50% or 6 CGPA.

Other: I am a student of IT, focusing on building a strong base in software architecture. The faculty members could be better. Regarding events, there is an annual techno-cultural festival called Equinox, along with many other short festivals. The campus crowd has a vibrant atmosphere. Scholarships are received from NSP, and students participate in various activities.

Candidates who are appearing in the Class 12th / equivalent examination in 2025 irrespective of their age, are also eligible. Note: List of qualifying examination(QE): i). The final examination of the 10+2 system, conducted by any recognized Central/ State Board, such as the Central Board of Secondary Education, New Delhi; Council for the Indian School Certificate Examinations, New Delhi; etc. ii). Intermediate or two-year Pre-University examination conducted by a recognized Board/ University. iii). Taking into consideration the placement stats of IIIT Lucknow this year, you may get IT here but may in later rounds of JOSAA or CSAB. For general category expected closing rank for IT is around 13000 to 14000 (these are just predictions). So in JOSAA rounds, it may be difficult. But there are good

With a JEE Mains rank of little less than 27000, can someone get CSE or IT ? If not, what options are available in IIIT-L?

You can get CSE or it in any of the low NIT. And, it was observed during 2018 counseling till round the student with 26459 got a seat in IIIT and for a female, it was 29976. But in spot round, it was nearly 28000 for gender neutral.
