B.Tech. in Chemical Engineering - Batch of 2028
3.6

Decent government college, placements are less in lower branches, and average infrastructure.
Placements: Chemical engineering branch is quite average, I mean you cannot expect much placement so rather go for GATE exam or go for coding as per your area of interest. The average package for chemical engineering is approximately 7 LPA. Top roles offered are process engineer, quality control engineer, and production engineer.
Infrastructure: Wi-Fi is available in the hostel. Library is open for all good books provided. Classrooms are decent but washrooms in college are pathetic. Instruments in labs are not working mostly like in chemical department. In lab, mostly the instruments don't work. Also, some professors are quite particular about attendance.
Faculty: Some teachers are quite partial towards female students and sometimes their favourite as well. But some are really kind and solve our doubts. Semester exams are not that much difficult but you need to study from the start and not one day before the exam as it will affect your college.
Other: Events like Encore Udgam, Vidyut Bankura, etc., are held.

B.Tech. in Computer Science and Engineering - Batch of 2028
3.8
4Placements3Infrastructure5Faculty4Crowd & Campus Life3Value for Money
This college is good for students who cannot afford colleges with high feels.
Placements: Approximately 80 to 90% get placed in the CSE branch. This year, the highest package goes up to 50 LPA, where the average is around 8 to 9 LPA, and the lowest is 4.5 LPA. Companies like Amazon, Deloitte, and TCS come to our college every year. 75 to 80% of students get internships from the second year itself, and payouts go up to 2 LPA in companies like Amazon, Bajaj, and Tata.
Infrastructure: Wi-Fi connectivity in the hostel is not very good. Sometimes it goes above 200 Mbps. Our department has suitably designed labs for different courses, with a library consisting of a variety of books in each and every field. The food provided is not very good. You can give a mark of 6 on a scale of 10. There are different sports clubs like volleyball, basketball, kabaddi, and badminton.
Faculty: Teachers are helpful and are qualified from prestigious institutions like IIT, and some have done M.Tech from them. Their teaching skills are good. Sometimes they are strict if you do not attend their classes. The curriculum provided is somewhat lacking, as there are many additional subjects with 0 credit value, but it will be suitable for a student pursuing any field. Semester exams are tough, and checking is done by the AKTU faculty members; around 85 to 90% of students pass with ease.
Other: The Computer Science course is chosen by many because of its strong career prospects, high earning potential, and the excitement of working with technology that impacts nearly every aspect of modern life. The best things about this course include vast job opportunities, exposure to emerging technologies, and the chance to make a meaningful contribution to society.

Mediocre college with subpar facilities.
Placements: Almost 50 to 60% of students got placed in switch companies with some students also landing MNC jobs. The highest package is 40 LPA. The lowest salary is 3.5 LPA. The average package has been around 7 LPA - 8 LPA. Top recruiters are TCS, Wipro, etc. Very few people grab internships in good companies, and most of them do unpaid internships. Roles offered are mostly related to IT analyst, test engineer, etc.
Infrastructure: The infrastructure of the college is in shambles to tell frankly. The library has strange restrictions for taking up laptops. Classrooms and labs are okay with satisfactory and Wi-Fi connections are provided. Hostels are terrible. Food is tasteless and only one canteen is there on campus. The sports complex of college has been under construction for past few years with yet no completion in sight.
Faculty: Teachers are good, knowledgeable, and cooperative enough. Mostly curriculum in our course is relaxed with a lot of free time. Teachers are lenient in our course at least. The course curriculum is mostly in line with AKTU syllabus. The level of semester exams is average and most people are able to clear it without any backlogs.
Other: I simply chose this course because I wanted to enter IT field. Branch-wise organized fest happen annually but no college fest on a large scale has happened for the past few years but it started in 2025. The sports fest has started from 2025 onwards. Eligible people can opt for scholarships from UP government.

College is good regarding return on investment. Location is fantastic so company visits often.
Placements: More than 500 students are placed out of 550 students. 3 students got the highest package of 54 LPA CTC with top recruiting companies like Amazon and Google. Many of the students got internships. Overall, 30% of our students got internships. Top role offered is assistant manager.
Infrastructure: Facilities and infrastructure of the chemical engineering department are very good as it has a new separate building of itself called NNF (Navyug Navcharya Foundation) but the equipment is not up to date. Hostel facilities are below average. The canteen is also average. Medical facilities are at the bare minimum. Sports and games facilities are nice.
Faculty: Teachers are helpful, qualified, and knowledgeable enough. But some of the teachers do not have the teaching quality. The course curriculum is relevant. The exams are decent enough, not very hard, not very easy, it's decent enough to maintain our CGPA.
Other: This is the only course I am getting in this college so I preferred this. The best thing about my course is that it is very diverse. It's decent enough. Events and fests are all bogus. Campus crowd is good. Scholarships are also decent. Extracurricular activities are also decent.

Good government college with a large campus, affordable fees, and scope for better facilities.
Placements: Around 50 to 60% students of Chemical Engineering get placed every year. The highest package offered is 10 to 12 LPA, some exceptions are higher, but rare for core branches. The average package offered is 4 to 5 LPA. The lowest offers usually start around 3 LPA. Top recruiting Companies like TCS, Wipro, Infosys, Tech Mahindra, Hero, Honda, L&T, and some mid-level IT/service firms visit for recruitment. Most students get roles like Graduate Engineer Trainee (GET), Process Engineer, Software/IT roles, and Analyst roles in service based companies.
Infrastructure: For Chemical Engineering, the labs are well equipped with the necessary instruments and apparatus. The classrooms are spacious, but maintenance and cleanliness are average. Wi-Fi is available in academic areas, and the central library has a decent collection of books. Hostel facilities are basic with average maintenance. The mess food is manageable, but not very consistent in quality. Medical facilities are limited, and sports grounds are available for cricket, football, and other games. The campus is quite big, around 100 acres, and provides enough open space to roam around.
Faculty: Teachers are qualified and helpful, but the teaching quality depends a lot on self study. Some teachers explain really well, while others are average. The curriculum is mostly theoretical and not fully updated to industry standards, so extra effort is needed from students to be industry ready. Exams are of moderate difficulty and mostly focus on theory, with regular study, passing is not very tough, but scoring high requires good preparation.
Other: I chose Chemical Engineering because of my interest in core subjects and the government college tag. The best thing about the course is that it builds strong fundamentals, though industry exposure is still limited. Fests and events happen every year, which bring some energy to the campus, but extracurricular activities are not very frequent. The campus crowd is decent, connectivity to the city is good, and the surroundings are peaceful. If the college focused more on modern labs, industry tie ups, and student activities, the overall experience would be much better.

Sounds like IT has a good location.
Placements: Placements vary according to the brand; otherwise, placements are okay. Core companies do not have good placements. CS and IT companies have good placements. In semester 3, you can get internship and job opportunities as many companies visit our campus. You cannot expect high packages. The average package offered is 4 LPA. They provide 90% placement.
Infrastructure: The course curriculum is highly relevant and comprehensive for all students, effectively explaining industry standards and embracing trends, covering essential theoretical foundations while interacting with particular applications. In college, my experience is good at that time, and my involvement in the club is not too good, but I participate in the cricket club.
Faculty: The electrical faculty is very bad; the rest are also not so good. Faculty members and teachers are not so cooperative as they only come to complete the syllabus. But some teachers are very good and have deep knowledge in their field. This college is affiliated with AKTU and offers many courses like B.Tech, M.Tech, MCA, and MBA.
