College is good because the faculty is well educated and there is really good infrastructure and fac
Placements: I don’t know the exact percentage of students who are placed, but nearly 50+% are placed. And for placement, you have to not only complete graduation but also take part in different workshops and activities which are helpful for our credit. I can’t answer the other questions, I don’t have an idea about that.
Infrastructure: Facilities and infrastructure of my college are well good. Labs are well cleaned and PCs work better. Classrooms are also nice, every classroom has a projector, whiteboards, and a blackboard. The library is also big for study, and there are many books in the library related to courses. I am not a hosteller, so I can’t answer that one. Sports and games are also given importance, and the food in the canteen is okay.
Faculty: Teachers are well educated and qualified. Many of the teachers are qualified from the same institute. The curriculum is good, but one thing is that in the first year we have to study many unwanted subjects which are not related to our course. The exams are not quite hard, and the pass percentage is also good.

Excellent infrastructure but weak environment.
Placements: The placements in JNEC are quite low. If you expect high annual packages, you should go for off-campus placements. I won't say the placement percentage is less but the packages are low. Internships are also provided but only to 2%-5% of students in specific branches. Other branches like core mechanical and electrical have less management and help.
Infrastructure: Infrastructure is quite good and well-maintained in every branch and department. As the fees are also high in private colleges, they have to manage the infrastructure. Toilets are also cleaned. There are parking and canteens but you have to pay for them separately and mess is also available.
Faculty: Teachers are always available and teach very effectively. Lectures are conducted on time but after the NEP there are new courses added and because of that different faculty is allotted and sometimes they are good at teaching but some teachers have no knowledge, but all teachers in JNEC are smart and helpful. Faculty members are also good and experienced.
Other: In my city Aurangabad, this college has the best infrastructure and they conduct all lectures on time as well as the practicals. Another thing is fests are also conducted and there are no scholarships available in this college. There are other infrastructure like ground, badminton court, and other sports areas but everything has separate payments.

Get here only if you want a good infrastructure college.
Placements: So, during our batch for 2020-24, around 60% of students were placed. The companies that recruited students were Atlas Copco, Yardi, TCS, Coditas, and Capgemini. The highest package during our time was 6.5 LPA. The lowest package was 3.5 LPA. The average package stood at 5 LPA. Mostly, the roles were related to software development. For the 8th semester, we have a compulsory 6-month internship which we have to find by ourselves. There are companies that visit only for internships, and some of them may get a PPO.
Infrastructure: Wi-Fi is available at the college premises but not for personal use. The college campus and infrastructure are very good. There is a huge library where you can study, and it is open full-time during the end semester. The labs are good, but some desktops are not in working condition.
Faculty: Here, the teachers are not that knowledgeable, even though they are highly qualified. Only theoretical knowledge is taught. No practical implementation is taught. Mostly, students do self-study here. The semester exams are not that difficult. If you study regularly, it would be a cakewalk! The pass percentage per subject is somewhere around 33 out of 100. If they increase practical implementation, it would make students industry-ready; otherwise, not! The teachers are quite helpful, though. They will help you with your difficulties, except for some. :)

MGM's Jawaharlal Nehru Engineering College.
Placements: The percentage of students placed in this college is 53 percent. It's like 4 out of 10 students are placed in this college. The average package of this college is 8 LPA. Internship programs are also provided by the college where students get discounts on internship programs. IBM, TCS, and Amazon are top companies for this course.
Infrastructure: The infrastructure for this is very nice. Many computer labs are available for students. All computers are updated. Wi-Fi speed is also high. In the classroom, teachers teach on the board, and projectors are also available. Hostel rules are very strict. Canteen food is very hygienic.
Faculty: Teachers have a wealth of experience, over 10 years. For the course curriculum, many events were there, like GDSC (Google Development Students Club) events happen here, where many tech giants came across the college to give knowledge about the industry. Because of this, students are made ready for the industry. Semester exams for the course are not that difficult.
Other: In this college, facilities for extracurricular activities are excellent. For sports, a stadium is available, not only a stadium but also a ground. For every sport, facilities are excellent. Campus surroundings are also nice; no ragging in this college. Many events also happen in this college, like GDSC, TedX, marathons, etc.

Good campus life, good infrastructure, and average teaching.
Placements: Many companies come for recruitment, but they offer 3 LPA-4 LPA. Only some students are hired by big companies, leading to a good number of packages. Every year, a number of companies come for recruitment, so it depends on how skilled we are to get hired. The availability of companies and jobs is not less, but skills are required.
Infrastructure: The infrastructure is poor. There are many sports grounds that are good facilities, and a stadium too. There is a mess which is above average, and 2-3 canteens which have an amazing number of food options. Overall, campus is also good and feels fresh due to the trees everywhere.
Faculty: I think the syllabus is outdated, and they should change it. However, they are changing it as per NEP from the next semester. Some faculty members are brilliant, but again, some are not that good at teaching subjects. Semester exams are moderate, not too difficult but not too easy either. Overall, the exam process is smooth. Teachings can be improved.
Other: I chose data science course because I thought that it would have a good future scope. In this course, I am getting to learn various languages from basic to advanced, and I am able to take part in projects and many tech-related competitions.
