I am highly satisfied with the college. It has the best crowd and faculty members.
Placements: Almost 40% of students get placed. The highest package is 20 LPA, and the lowest package is 4 LPA. The average package is 15 LPA. The top recruiting companies for our course are Bain & Company, PwC, KPMG, Genpact, EY, and Wipro. Almost 80% of students get an internship from B.Sc. (Hons.) in Mathematics at Bain & Company, Deloitte, and KPMG. The top roles offered are actuarial analyst, banker, and data analyst.
Infrastructure: JMC has the best infrastructure. ACs are provided in the computer labs, auditorium, and library. Wi-Fi works perfectly fine, and the access is handled over to all students. There is no hostel at JMC. The canteen is hygienic and well-maintained.
Faculty: Teachers are highly qualified and well-educated. They got the best education even though some are alumni of IITs. Their teaching skills are up to the mark. The course curriculum is relevant and similar to what is taught in B.Tech. The course curriculum is relevant, and it makes students industry-ready but they are required to adapt skills since it is not completely practical like B.Com (Hons) and economics. Semester exams are based on concept and it is a bit difficult to pass but with regular classes and all. It is easy to pass and score. The pass percentage is 99.3%.
Other: I chose this course as it aligns with my master's goal which is MS in data science. The best thing about this course is how it makes us smarter than most of the students of the age and that helps to get rid of competition for masters.

JMC has NCC too. Overall, I am delighted to have JMC. Good people and good vibes mean JMC.
Placements: In the maths department of JMC, there are many more placement opportunities for different roles. 40% of students from my course got placements from different companies. The highest average package offered to my course is 8 LPA, and the lowest salary is 2 LPA. 60% of the students got internship opportunities at companies like Intel and Armed Forces through internship program, etc. Top roles offered are assistant and data analyst.
Infrastructure: JMC doesn't have hostel facilities but has a very good overall campus infrastructure. Wi-Fi is available in a good range and quality. Computer labs are well furnished, air-conditioned with updated systems. Classrooms are airy with curtains and have good space. Library in JMC is a place of peace and space for students keen on reading. Department books and reading interests related books are available. For medical facilities, a medical staff run MI room is available with all necessary medications. Sports department at JMC works well for students interested in playing. It has a gym in college where sports student has a discount.
Faculty: Teachers at JMC are well-qualified from well-known institutions and very helpful to students. They are experts in their fields and tech impressive. This course curriculum is so much more than relevant, it develops industry skills in students and makes them ready for the future. Semester exams have a moderate level of difficulty but the pass percentage is more than 90%.
Other: I chose this course because of my interest in maths. Best thing is that it makes my spirit competitive with a little bit of challenging work burden. I wish to improve my course by having a little more exposure to the kind of work that will make us suitable for outside college to know our strengths. Events at JMC are spectacular. Every department organises events inviting students from other colleges, etc., organizing seminars with different celebs. Recently boast boy Aman Gupta, influencer Rahul Dua, and Siwet Tomar were invited to different events. Campus is amazing and the crowds are lovely. The JMC fest Montage takes place in March every year.

Somewhat satisfied with the faculty, and a good placement in 2024.
Placements: I spoke to some 3rd-year seniors, and about 10-11 of them have secured placements through various societies. For example, one senior got a package of 9 LPA from the placement cell and is the VP of a club. The highest package reported was 16 LPA, and the average package is around 5 LPA. Some companies that hired include Deloitte, Ernst & Young, KPMG, Accenture, and Wipro. My sister also got a job through JMC five years ago; she did B.Com (Hons) and received a 4 LPA offer from KPMG. I don’t have more information on other details. Fields related to my interest include business analysis, actuarial science, and data analysis, and I studied Maths (Hons).
Infrastructure: The classrooms are decent; they lack air conditioning, but they are clean. There are three labs and some MPH rooms that are air-conditioned, making the labs a good facility. The library is quite nice, spanning three floors and filled with plenty of books to read. However, the washrooms are very dirty. The college does not provide hostels, and the canteen is average. The hygiene is acceptable, and while the food prices are quite cheap, the cleanliness does not meet standards. On a positive note, the medical room is quite good, and there are ample sports facilities, including a large football ground and two basketball courts.
Faculty: Some teachers are excellent and very helpful, while others are not as engaging. However, all of them are qualified and knowledgeable. The teaching quality is good; all teachers complete the syllabus on time and conduct regular class tests. The curriculum may not be fully relevant, but some practical lessons include how to use Excel and various types of graphs. In the second semester, we are also learning how to use MATLAB. The exams can be challenging, particularly for the Mathematics (Hons) course, with a passing percentage structured around the semester-wise CGPA.
Other: I chose this course because the cutoff was low, and I wanted to attend Delhi University (either South or North Campus). Honestly, the course is quite difficult, but the only advantage is the high salary packages and career options available after graduation. Additionally, the washrooms are very dirty, and sometimes there is no water available. The course also requires us to take extra subjects, which can be overwhelming alongside Mathematics (Hons). On a positive note, the fests are enjoyable, and various events happen throughout the year. The crowd is quite good, and the campus itself is one of the highlights; the JMC campus is considered one of the best.

Jesus and Mary is a great college and it is worth to take admission here.
Placements: Jesus and Mary placement cell is very efficient and great for particularly B.Com (Hons) students as from our Instagram handle featuring students who got placed in big 4 companies. Top companies like KPMG, Deloitte, etc., come to our campus. For my course, the average package ranges between 9-10 LPA which can be considered well for beginners.
Infrastructure: For the infrastructure of our department, I would like to give 5 stars for sure. Labs are in good condition. The library is up to date with books and surroundings are very safe, especially for girls. Jesus and Mary do not provide a hostel, and it would have been good if they had provided a hostel as many girls come from different states and have to stay at expensive PGs.
Faculty: Some subjects have really some of the greatest professors I have ever met. It really appears they want to give us valuable knowledge and are open to doubts solving extra classes which is totally opposite of what I have thought of DU professors. However, some teachers are old and have no interest in teaching whatever. From my perspective, my course Maths hons is not relevant to industry-ready. I have to gain skills from outside to be ready for it. Semester exams are average.
Other: Though it is not my first preference still Maths hons is a good course as compared to program courses as I will gain analytical thinking and problem-solving skills from it. Things I would like for my course is it add things that would help in my job directly. JMC is one of the best campuses I have ever seen. Fests are amazing. Seniors are great, and We are gonna enjoy the girlhood over here for sure.
