JIPMER, Pondicherry offers twelve courses in its M.Sc program. The admission is made on the basis of marks secured in entrance exams. The entrance exams accepted for admission to M.Sc at JIPMER, Pondicherry are JIPMER Nursing and JIPMER PG. Other than these, JIPMER admission to MD/ MS courses is based on INI CET scores. INI CET 2024 Counselling is ongoing for the January Session for admission to MD/ MS courses at JIPMER. 

Candidates who have passed Class 12 with Physics, Chemistry, Biology/ Botany & Zoology with a minimum of 50% aggregate along with English as one of the subjects can apply for BSc at JIPMER Puducherry. Overall six months time is sufficent for INI CET preparation. This includes 4 month in depth study and 2-month for revision work. The moment a candidate plan to appear for the INI CET, first and formost things he/she should do is to draw a study plan. Focus on those subjects where you are strong in terms of concept. Don't spend too musch time initially on subjects where you are weak. This will demotivate you and affect your preparation. Keep this in mind that concept is key. High yielding topics must be prepared properly to score good marks in INI CET exam.

JIPMER Puducherry admit candidates to its BSc courses on the basis of merit in the NEET exam. Some of the seats are reserved for the students who are residents of Pondicherry.
