In comparison to MBBS fee at other colleges, JIPMER Puducherry is not expensive! The total tuition fee for the 66 months programme is INR 30465. The total fee may include other components as well such as security deposit, library fee and more.

There is no specified lower range for minimum marks required for admission at JIPMER, Pondicherry. The cutoffs are subjective to change every year. However, as per JIPMER eligibility criteria 2024, students from general category and EWS are required to secure at least 50% marks combined in Physics, Chemistry and Biology. Students from reserved categories (SC/ST/OBC) are required to score 40% marks. The admission also includes evaluation of the marks secured in any entrance test.

JIPMER Puducherry releases INICET cutoffs for admission to MD, MS, and DM programs. According to the JIPMER Puducherry cutoff 2025, aspirants must score between 47 and, 11119 in the General AI category to be considered for admission. MD in Radio Diagnosis is the most demanded course among all the courses available at JIPMER Puducherry through INICET exam. JIPMER Puducherry's core courses are MD in Radio Diagnosis, MD in General Medicine and MD in Nuclear Medicine. Tabulated below is the INI CET cutoff 2025 for round 1 for the General AI category students: 

Candidates have to score the minimum cut off to qualify for INI CET exam. The qualifying INI CET cut off percentile for the general category is 50%. Candidates who belong to SC/ST/OBC category have to score minimum qualifying cut off, 45. Candidates who qualify the exam with the minimum cut off percentile are eligible for the counselling process. Based on INI CET cut off a merit list will be released. The merit list comprises name of eligible candidates for the different counselling rounds.
