JIPMER Puducherry Bachelor of Science (BSc) is a full-time programme in Nursing and Allied Medical Sciences. The duration of the programme is four years. The medium of instruction in classes and examinations (all the subjects of study) is English. Candidates have to score the minimum cut off to qualify for INI CET exam. The qualifying INI CET cut off percentile for the general category is 50%. Candidates who belong to SC/ST/OBC category have to score minimum qualifying cut off, 45. Candidates who qualify the exam with the minimum cut off percentile are eligible for the counselling process. Based on INI CET cut off a merit list will be released. The merit list comprises name of eligible candidates for the different counselling rounds. AIIMS conducted INI CET 2025 July session on May 17, 2025.
A candidate must possess MBBS degree for MD/MS/DM-6yrs/MCH-6yrs and BDS degree for MDS courses of a University recognised by the National Medical Commission/Medical Council of India as notified by Govt. of India and Dental Council of India respectively and must have completed the required period of 12 months compulsory rotating Internship/Practical training in certain period of time. They must have scored the minimum marks in MBBS/BDS or equivalent examination. Minimum marks for candidates belonging to the SC/ST categories is 50% while for all other categories including OBC/EWS Category, the minimum mark is 55% in aggregate.
AIIMS announced the INI CET result. Result comprising the list of qualified candidates was uploaded on the official website, aiimsexams.ac.in. Those who score the minimum cut off are declared qualified for the exam. Minimum qualifying mark is different for different category.

JIPMER Pondicherry BSc course is of four-year duration. It is divided into eight semesters. The course curriculum further varies depending upon the chosen specialisation.
