JIPMER BSc Eligibility & Highlights 2025
JIPMER Puducherry Bachelor of Science (BSc) is a full-time programme in Nursing and Allied Medical Sciences. The duration of the programme is four years. The medium of instruction in classes and examinations (all the subjects of study) is English. Candidates can apply for BSc online by submitting an application form on the official website of JIPMER Puducherry. Admission to this course is entrance exam-based, conducted on the last Sunday of July every year.

No, you cannot get admission at JIPMER for its BSc courses without having a valid NEET rank. The exam is mandatory for admission. Candidates also need to fulfil the eligibility rules for the particular BSc course they are applying to.
A candidate must possess MBBS degree for MD/MS/DM-6yrs/MCH-6yrs and BDS degree for MDS courses of a University recognised by the National Medical Commission/Medical Council of India as notified by Govt. of India and Dental Council of India respectively and must have completed the required period of 12 months compulsory rotating Internship/Practical training in certain period of time. They must have scored the minimum marks in MBBS/BDS or equivalent examination. Minimum marks for candidates belonging to the SC/ST categories is 50% while for all other categories including OBC/EWS Category, the minimum mark is 55% in aggregate.
AIIMS announced the INI CET result. Result comprising the list of qualified candidates was uploaded on the official website, aiimsexams.ac.in. Those who score the minimum cut off are declared qualified for the exam. Minimum qualifying mark is different for different category.

No, MBBS admissions at JIPMER Puducherry are not possible without the NEET. Students who wish to get admission must first register on the entrance exam portal. Then appear for the exam and then take part in the counselling. Pay the fee at the allotted and selected college.

JIPMER MBBS cutoff 2025 was 260 for the students belonging to the General AI quota. Similarly, for the OBC category students, the NEET UG last round closing rank was 748 for admission to the MBBS course. Comparing both categories, the cutoff rank was more competitive for the General category student
