JNTUH is one of the best universities in India.
Placements: First off, the placements in the JNTU in TS are very excellent. Coming to JNTU, on an average, 70–80 companies visit our campus every year for placements. The jobs are divided into two types.
a) Dream.
b) Non-dream, with dream packages above 4 LPA. Under this dream package, there are also ‘core’ companies. Basically, you aren’t allowed to sit further in placements, if you get placed in a dream company.
Now, let me tell you, we get placements in every field including IT, Management, Analysis etc. The lowest package will be of the mass-recs (TCS, Wipro, Accenture etc) and they offer a compensation of 3–3.2 LPA. The highest package varies from 10–14 LPA (includes Google, Microsoft and/or any new startups).
Infrastructure: The college has 40 lecture halls and 4 drawing halls. The bench space available in the classroom is about 2 sq.m per student and working space available in the laboratories is about 5 sq.m per student. There is a seminar hall to accommodate 150 people.
Each department has got its own independent buildings, departmental libraries and seminar halls. The common facilities such as Auditorium, Guest House, a Branch of Andhra Bank, Extension counter of SBH, Staff Quarters, Principal Quarter, Canteen, Power House with 140 KV A Generator connected to all buildings and hostels are available.
Faculty: The faculty of this college is very good. The faculty here are all professors and associate professors. They are helpful whenever the student requires them.
The course and curriculum is fixed at the start of the first year and revisions are made whenever required.

Other: You will have a lot of opportunities banging your door at JNTUH. During the 4th year you will have an opportunity to have industry interface through internships in companies like Deloitte, JP Morgan, Model N and Teradata. These internships help you to do your 4th year final project in industry rather than doing it in the college. An excellent infrastructure of labs and highly qualified professors guide you to choose the right path. You will have very good peers who have the right goal and the spirit to achieve their targets. Hostel facilities are comparatively low when compared to the classroom infrastructure and facilities. You will find lush green everywhere in the campus which resembles a forest and believe me it's worth experiencing. You will enjoy each and every moment and take back a lot of memories with you after your 4 years.
