Satisfied with the college faculty and their teachings .
Placements: Nobody as of now has been placed. Because we are still in 7th semester. 80% of the students have got internship. I don't know about the top companies for my course. Top roles are probably design role.
Infrastructure: There are labs and library as well. Well maintained labs and library. The quality of food in hostel is not bad. It's pretty good and college has encouraged in various sports as well. The canteen is also good but little overpriced. There are no medical faculty members .
Faculty: Teachers are helpful and are qualified. Any problems with the students, the teachers try to help them. The semester exams are done by VTU and not from our college. And the pass percentage keeps changing. On an average more 60% pass the semester exams.
Other: I really like mechanical design. So, I chose this course. The one I would like to improve is the practical knowledge the students needs. Every year there is a fest conducted, in which students can showcase their talents.

Infrastructure: In the hostel, all the facilities, like infrastructure, library, and food are good. All the facilities are available in our college compared to nearby colleges. Wi-Fi facilities are also available in our college, and our college has a very good auditorium.
Faculty: Excellent faculties. They encourage every student in our college. Our college participated in Aeroclub, which was held in the USA, and stood the 5th position in the entire world. This was only possible because of our faculties.

The faculty, placements, and crowd in Jyothy Institute of Technology are good.
Placements: Our college gives placement in big companies such as L&T, Infotech, Tech Mahindra, Merchant Navy, Quest Global, and other reputed companies. Our college is just 6 years old and is still a baby. It would take time, but it is really improving on the basis of placements. Around 60% of the students got internships from the college and others made it on their own. HR training and placement cell are growing day by day.
Infrastructure: The college has best class and laboratories. There are well-equipped classrooms. All are connected via N-computing. We have a library of around 8,000 books. We have 3 seminar halls, and one is completely for professional. There are seminar halls in the college for student-oriented programs. We have our own R&D by the name CIIRC at our college. The canteen at the basement is always equipped with food during college hours, and food tastes really well.
Faculty: We have in and around 30 PhD holders as teachers who are very experienced in what they do. Other teachers are well and very qualified. They are more like friends than teachers, and that's what a student expects. The teaching quality is outstanding. Every year, we are taken to 2 industrial visits in and around Bangalore. The teacher to student ratio is good and sufficient as well.
Other: We have our own fest named Pranathi, and we had crowd all over from Bangalore. People can reach us either using Metro or BMTC buses. Scholarships are given to recognised students only.

A good college for average students.
Placements: The placement is quite good and improving day by day. Due to the effect of CIIRIC, the new management, most of the companies have been tied up with the college. There is a promising minimum guarantee of placement. The companies like Merchant Navy, Toyota, Bosch, Mahindra Ltd, and other companies visit the college. The college faculty are also helping individuals with the communication skills, cracking questions easily and also helping in facing an interview. In the recently passed out batch, most of them were placed in good companies with good packages.
Infrastructure: The infrastructure is good. The college has greenery all around. A separate parking lot for cars and bikes is available. A good canteen equipped with good tables and seats which can accommodate many people is present. The college has separate departments, due to CIIRIC. Many research laboratories which are highly modernised. Basketball, volleyball, throwball, cricket pitch with nets and mats are available. Toilets are good, well maintained, and the library is also very good.
Faculty: The faculty members are very good and friendly. They are actually strict but friendly as well. I am studying from past two and a half years in this college, and I haven't experienced any kind of burden or pressure from my lecturers. Even the lab professors are very good at practical knowledge.

The college is very good and improving. It will be a very good college on a couple of years.
Placements: The placement is pretty good. Good companies are recognizing the growth of the college. A Research and development team called CIIRC has undertaken the management of JIT, due to which good companies are coming and the placement is increasing. The college has much better placement in mechanical engineering compared to other departments in the college. TCA, Merchant Navy and other good mechanical companies come to the college.
Infrastructure: The infrastructure is pretty good even though it is a new college. The infrastructure will improve in the coming days. There is a decent volleyball, throwball, and basketball ground! Good practice nets for cricket. Good and big canteen. Very good and well-maintained labs and also research labs. The classrooms are big enough with a projector in every room. A good seminar hall. Good medical facility.
Faculty: The faculty members are very good. Everyone is very well trained and experienced with everyone having completed a minimum of BE and M.Tech and many having completed PhD and some pursuing PhD. Every teacher is student friendly. The notes pertaining to the subject are regularly given along with the class, which help the students study for the exam. Seminars are done on the subject which help a lot.

It is a good and upcoming college.
Placements: Placements at the institution are very good. Companies like Mindtree, Tech Mahindra, Unisys, NTT Data, West Line Ship Management Pvt Ltd, Alpha 9 Marines-Merchant Navy, Hive Minds, Quest Informatics, IBM India Pvt Ltd, PeerJunction, CGI, HGS, Artech Infosystems and Keyence India Pvt Ltd visited and recruited on the campus. Companies like Infosys, LG, 3-i InfoTech, Oracle and Accenture also come under the campus recruitment drive. This year a percentage of 85 students got placed. The lowest package offered this year was 3 lakhs and the highest was 10 lakhs. Students were on an average given packages between 5.5-6 lakhs per annum. The institute also supports internship and has BSNL, Civil AID, Unisys, Titan, SNN Developers etc as MOU's for the internship. The students are paid less and sometimes nothing depending on the company. Despite this they again ample amount of knowledge which helps them in their interviews.
Infrastructure: The infrastructure is good. The library is of a moderate size. It has many prescribed books, reference books, international journals, etc. It can accommodate close to 100 students at a time. It employs a digital borrowing system to register the faculty members and students who have borrowed the books via their digital borrower card issued. Wi-Fi is provided to only the faculty members at Jyothy. It is only shared with the students while project display during essential events. The classrooms are big, spacious and well-ventilated. Each class can easily accommodate 60 students. The labs are well equipped and are amongst the top labs offered to the students in any engineering college in Bangalore. There are sufficient kits in each lab and for every individual student in a batch. The labs can be used by the students for their personal projects too. The college has a basketball court and supports inter as well as intra-college competitions in the field of sports. The canteen is big and can accommodate 100-150 students at a time. The food served is moderate. The hygiene maintained is average. The availability and the variety of food are low. The price quoted for each item is affordable and student-friendly. The boys' hostel is located within the campus while the girls' hostel is located a few kilometres away from the campus. The rooms are moderate in size. The wardens are fairly understanding. Cleanliness is good. The food served in the boys' hostel is below average. Sometimes there is a scarcity of water in the boys' hostel. As a regular student, I didn't face any difficulty with respect to the infrastructure.
Faculty: The faculty members here are well-experienced and knowledgeable. The HOD of each department is a Ph.D holder. Apart from them, 90% of the faculty members are also Ph.D holders. The teachers are very approachable and helpful. They impart knowledge both related to the syllabus as well as the industries. Each student here is closely monitored by his proctor who is responsible for his academics and his internship. Regular proctor-student interaction takes place. The teachers use digital as well as the chalk-board method for teaching. They try and give live examples and relate each topic to the current trending technology for a better understanding. They help in building the necessary skills required by a student to do well. The lab attendants are also well aware of the subject and provide the necessary help to the students. The course curriculum provides a strong base but additional courses is a must for building a stronger foundation. Regular industrial visits for the branches of mechanical and civil take place.
Other: This college comes with a research center named CIIRC (Centre for Incubation, Innovation Research and Consultancy). A few projects completed by this department are: Development of low-cost reusable MiCAV, Autonomous Aerial Systems Technical Support Facility set up at NDRF-IEI, Bangalore, Development of Engine Life Monitoring System. A few ongoing projects include IRNSS Navigation Receiver Field Trial and Data Collection funded by ISRO. The institute recently has a National Faculty Development Programme in entrepreneurship which aims at training a professional in this area so that they can inspire and guide students in the field of entrepreneurship. The institute also has a placement training center where students from the 5th semester are trained for the various rounds during an interview. Regular mock tests comprising of all the rounds are given to the students to improve their skill sets and confidence.

The best of the engineering colleges in Bangalore.
Placements: It offers the best placement for a recently opened institution and it is also ranked as the 2nd best engineering college in south Bangalore. You will have the best of faculty to adhere to your dreams and goals. Overall, it is a good place to start your engineering studies.
Infrastructure: Let me come from inside out, as it it a new engineering college (started in 2011). It boasts of a well designed desk for the students so as to support their physical posture. Each classroom is equipped with its own projection system to ensure students don't lag behind in learning, The campus is brought up on a 10-acre land, so it feels vast for the people from urban areas. The campus is also home to various kinds of trees in and around the campus. There is also a research wing working out of the college to assist research students as well as engineering students. The labs are all modernised and equipped with related latest tech gear.
Faculty: The faculty members are all well-qualified and most of them are IIT alumni. They are all well versed in their subjects and many of them are PhD holders in technical subjects. The faculty members are very friendly and help every student in achieving his/her dreams. They are very approachable for any topic to discuss at their leisure.
