There were good placements this year and there were many events held.
Placements: 100 percent of students pass out of our mechanical department. The highest package is INR 5 lakh. The percentage of students who got internships from our course is 50 percent, and the top roles offered are project head manager in Hal, and you can go for designing roles too.
Infrastructure: Wi-Fi is available.  Hostel quality is good.  The quality of food is good, the medical quality is good, and there are good sports facilities, including indoor badminton courts, football turf, and a cricket ground, as well as indoor cricket nets and a swimming pool.
Faculty: The teachers are helpful, highly qualified, and knowledgeable, and the teaching quality is good.  The course curriculum is relevant, and it makes us, the students, industry-ready.  The semester exams are easy, and they are given from the model question papers.
Other: I had the passion to study for this course. The best thing about my course is that it's a core subject, and there are many events and scholarships.

I am dissatisfied because of the faculty, and placements but the infrastructure is good.
Placements: We didn't have any placement for mechanical. But 2 companies are hiring, but it was for a sales role. We didn't have. We had to look for internships by ourselves.
Infrastructure: We don't have a Wi-Fi connectivity option. The classrooms were good, and it is a newly constructed building. Even the labs are good and the library as well, but we didn't have a lot of books there. The mess food is horrible. There's no canteen available in the college. Sports facilities are also good. There are 2 football courts.
Faculty: Teaching quality is average, and only some of the teachers are qualified and helpful. They should change the staff if they want to improve the teaching quality. The course curriculum is relevant since the college is affiliated with VTU. It helps students get ready for the industry. The semester exams are difficult. The pass percentage would be around 60%.
Other: I chose mechanical engineering because of my interest in designing and working with the automobile industry. The faculty members should change. People with proper knowledge should be hired. We didn't have any events or fests during our time in the college. Campus surroundings are not bad. There's no proper transportation to the college. We should walk around 2KM from the bus stop to the college.

Q:   Is studying at Gopalan College of Engineering and Management expensive?
    ShikshaGPT says
    A:
    • Studying at Gopalan College of Engineering and Management (Gopalan COEM) is not very expensive, . The following are some salient details regarding the cost and accessibility of studying there:
    • The annual tuition fees for core engineering branches, such as computer science, mechanical, and civil engineering, range from 85,000 to 1 lakh. A few of the more recent branches may cost a little bit more.
    • The cost structure of this college is fairly similar to that of other reputable private engineering colleges in Karnataka. unquestionably far less than accredited or private universities.
    • Gopalan COEM provides programs to reduce tuition for students from lower-income families in addition to scholarships awarded based on merit or rank.
    • Additional institutional costs are typically nonexistent. If necessary, hostel and mess fees range from 75,000 to 90,000 per year. Since educational loans can cover 90–100% of the total cost of a program, even students from lower-class or middle-class backgrounds can afford it.
    • In summary, Gopalan COEM's fee structure is average when compared to the median annual engineering college fees in the private sector. For students in need, there are payment plans and educational loans available as well. Thus, it is not really possible to argue that studying there is too costly.
