Our college is great study-wise. Placements are great, but students need more.

Placements: There is not a great number of students getting placements. I have seen even talented students who couldn't get placements due to a lack of seats. It's totally a heartless competition. Companies like McKinsey, Brain, BCG, etc., come for placements. As for the History Hons course there is no such specific recruitment company.

Average because of the faculty. Excellent because of debating overall, a good 8/10.

Placements: As the B.A. programme with Political Science major and philosophy minor is a theoretical course, the placement chances are very low. However, internships are available if you are passionate about public policy and research you can have internships under professors. Some professors are very kind and help students in their research work. Organisations like NITI Aayog and the Ministry of External Affairs provide internships for humanities background students.

For personality development, lots of opportunities due to college societies and academic environment

Placements: Placement is unlikely to happen in the B.A. programme as most of the students do B.A. to give government exams like UPSC and SSC but the academic environment is good for B.A. courses but in courses like economics honours and B.Com placement is good but not 100 percent.

Strong conceptual learning environment with supportive faculty and decent lab facilities.

Placements: Placement depends upon you. There is a placement drive on the university campus where you can get placed based on your potential. About the package, the highest you can get is 5 LPA and the lowest is 2 LPA-3 LPA. Recruiting companies are ed-tech companies, pharma companies, and students get internships in different universities like IIT Delhi and other IITS, IISERS, CSIR, DRDO, etc. Roles offered in my course are analytical scientist and research scientist.

The college has value for money, great exposure.

Placements: More than 60% of students were placed in my course in the previous batch. The highest package is around 24 LPA, and the average is around 11 LPA. Top recruiting companies are DE Shaw, LEK Consulting, Nation with Namo, Accenture, and so on. The top roles offered by these companies are in consulting, finance, and as political associates. Students do get internships in my college.

Overall a good experience but it can be improved by making changes in the course.

Placements: Out of the batch of approximately 160 students, 40-50 students were placed. Top recruiting companies included Brain, LEK Consulting, Nation with Namo, Deloitte, EY, ZS Consulting, and Accenture. Roles were mainly around consulting, and the highest package was 26 LPA.

Admission to B.Sc Life Sciences at Kirori Mal College is based on CUET-UG scores. Candidates must meet the college’s cut-off for their category. Selection depends on CUET performance, category-wise merit, and available seats during counselling rounds.
