A look into Kumaraguru Campus.

Placements: The placements provided by the college were very good and satisfied. The placements training program began from the third year onwards. Students can opt for both the IT services or core placements. Top recruiting companies are HP, Zoho, Schneider Electric, etc.

Infrastructure: The course was well framed and designed to meet industry expectations. The class rooms are well spacious. Many Wi-Fi spots are available in the college. The infrastructure of the hostels is worth the money. Only vegetarian foods are provided by the college and canteens inside the college campus.

Faculty: Mostly all the faculties in the college are doctorates. They were well knowledgeable with practical ways of teaching. 50% of your total marks are considered to be a pass percentage in the college. For every semester exam, there were two internal exams along with practicals.

Placements: 1. The placements at our college were excellent, with over 90% of students securing placements every year among those who opted for them. 2. Our departments play a significant role in automation industries, oil & gas industries, and various other core-related jobs globally.

Infrastructure: 1. Separate blocks are designated for each department, and the classrooms are spacious and well-maintained. 2. Each department has its library, and the main college library is accessible until 11 PM every day, including Sundays except for government holidays. 3. Hostel rooms are regularly maintained and kept in proper condition.

Faculty: 1. All faculty members are supportive of students, with some even conducting extra classes for those seeking career growth and placements. 2. Being an Autonomous institution, our college designs its curriculum. 3. The syllabus is advanced and comprehensive, covering all the necessary topics related to core jobs.

Life at Kumaraguru College of technology.

Placements: The number of placements for the graduating class of 2024 has slightly decreased compared to previous years. However, placements are still being conducted and companies continue to visit for recruitment. On average, over 80 percent of students in our department secure placements every year. The top job roles in our department include control engineer, design engineer, and automation engineering positions, which are considered core jobs.

Infrastructure: The syllabus of the course is clearly defined as it is an independent institution, and the syllabus is updated regularly according to regulations. Our college established the department in 2006, and since then, both the course and the department have been continuously enhanced based on my understanding. There are six hostels exclusively for boys and five separate hostel blocks for women. These hostels are equipped with high-speed Wi-Fi, study halls, playgrounds, and other amenities.

Faculty: 1. The professors in our department possess extensive industry experience and are highly supportive. They have all completed their Ph.D. in their respective fields of teaching, making them well-equipped to train us as full-time instrumentation engineers. Furthermore, the curriculum is meticulously defined and regularly updated to incorporate new regulations.

Other: Our college offers scholarships to numerous students, including the prestigious Mahatma Gandhi scholarship program, which is granted to the top 10 students in each class.

Much satisfied because of the infrastructure and quality of education.

Placements: Nearly 90% of the students who applied for placement got placed in my senior 2024 pass-out batches. And the placement has been down for the 2025 and 2026 passout batches. The top recruiting companies are Bosch, TCS, Yokogowa, Fluke, Seimens, Infosys, etc.

Infrastructure: The college has a very nice learning environment and offers a lot of clubs and forums to ensure that they bring out the best in students. Utilize all the options and opportunities provided. Mess is hygienic and clean. 24*7 electricity and Wi-Fi are available.

Faculty: The teachers and professors are so knowledgeable and care about the students' academic performances. EIE ensures that students who applied for core placements do get placed. And the semester exams are moderate but easy to pass. The arrears can be cleared soon as well.

Other: I chose this course because I am passionate about electronics and instrumentation. KCT conducts so many cultural events and concerts by musicians and musical bands that no other college in this area does.
