LPU offers lateral entry to BTech course. Candidates must have passed three year Diploma after Class 10 in any stream or two year Diploma after Class 12 in non-Medical stream and ELR or BSc (non-Medical) or BSc Computer Science and ELR with at least 50% aggregate to apply for BTech (LE) courses. The total fee for BTech is INR 4.5 lakh -INR 16 lakh. The fee is calculated based on the semester fee.  Admission to BTech course is based on LPUNEST or CUET UG score. After completion of the selection rounds, shortlisted aspirants need to pay the course fee to confirm their admission. Candidates are first required to register with an application fee for LPUNEST. The exam fee for LPUNEST is INR 1,000 for males and INR 500 for females.

No, you cannot become a lawyer without a Law degree. You mandatorily need to obtain degrees such as BA/BCom/BSc/BBA LLB or LLB in order to be a lawyer in India. To become a lawyer, one must first complete three-year or five-year LLB from a recognised university and possess degree certificate. Then, they must enrol themselves in local Bar Council of the concerned state and enrolled as an advocate. Within two years of the enrolment, they must appear and clear AIBE in order to be eligible to practise anywhere in India.

LPU NEST 2026 phase 1 exam will be conducted in January 2026. LPU NEST entrance exam 2026 will be conducted from January 10, 2026, to February 5, 2026 (remote proctored test) and from January 20, 2026, to February 5, 2026 (centre-based exam). The examination is conducted for UG and PG courses admission. LPU NEST application form is available online. LPU NEST 2026 slot booking should be done 48 hours before the exam. 

No, CUET syllabus is not based on CBSE syllabus as claimed by Education Ministry in Rajya Sabha. The CUET exam is designed to assess the general understandig of the candidate in subjects he/she has opted for. CUET UG is on of the biggest UG entrance exam carnival conducted for admission in cebtral, state, private and deemed universities.
