About B.E. in Electrical Engineering course at Chitkara University.
Placements: 30 students are placed in my course. The lowest package is 3 LPA and the highest package is 15 LPA. The average package is 5 LPA. Top recruiting companies like Schindler, Hitachi, and Tesla visit the college for placements. 30 students got the internship with an average stipend of Rs. 10,000 per month. The top roles offered are design, instruments, and telecommunication engineers.
Infrastructure: Classrooms are well-furnished, and the Wi-Fi provided is of decent quality. The infrastructure is good, and libraries are available. We are provided with almost all types of rooms in a hostel with different price ranges and a good infrastructure. Rooms have good ventilation and are clean. Mess food is decent and variety is available. Medical facilities are available 24 hours. All types of sports are there. Canteens and cafes are also present.
Faculty: Teachers are helpful and well-educated. The teaching quality is decent. The course curriculum is relevant. It makes students industry-ready and keeps us updated about the latest updates in the market. Semester exams are moderately tough, and we need to study if we want to pass exams. The pass percentage is 40%.
Other: I opted for various government colleges but could not clear the cutoff for the same. When I had to look for a private college, I could not find a better college than this. Academics are good. The campus life is decent. I would like to improve the teaching quality as it could be more practical and mess food can be improved too. Events and fests are held regularly, and we will surely enjoy the campus life. Many extracurricular activities and competitions are also held.

The best thing of the college is infrastructure.
Placements: 20 percent of students are placed. INR 33 lacs is the highest package offered. 10 percent students got internship. The job role offered are: Joiner software developers Data manager Data analyst Android developers Some of my friends also got funding from college for their ideas. Great support from college towards entrepreneurship.
Infrastructure: Infrastructure is one thing, I can bet you will like in my college. Mostly everything is available in the hostel. Food quality is also good. Canteen is available, but mess food is enough. The mess costs INR 30,000 per semester and hostel INR 50,000 per semester.
Faculty: Most teachers were qualified, but some of our mentors are the students, who are just graduated from college. Most of the things taught are practical and make the students industry-ready. Due to corona, semester exams were easy, but in offlines, they are moderately difficult. The pass percentage is high.
Other: I chose this course, because of my interest in computers. Better would be if more focus could be on specialization. Fest is the best part of my college.

Take admission without hesitation.
Placements: The placement of the college was very good as there were companies which took the students of each and every branch. Most of the students of our branch mainly joined the IT sector only. The average package offered by the companies was 3.2 LPA and the highest package was 15.8 LPA. The roles offered by the companies were mainly Software Engineers or Project Interns.
Infrastructure: The infrastructure of the college was good and had various facilities for the students. There was a central library in the college which contained nearly 12000 books in store. The Wi-Fi of the college was working great at our time. The classroom facilities were good and were made as per the comfort level of students. The quality of labs were also good.
Faculty: The faculty team of the college was quite experienced and knowledgeable. Most of the faculty members are from the IITs or NITs and have a very good method of teaching. The course is designed according to the industry requirements and it covers all the necessary subjects we need to cover for walking into the industry.

Overall, a good college but being a private one, it is costly.
Placements: Placements were good. More than 90 percent of the students got placed in one or the other company. I personally got into 2 companies. Overall, my experience was good. Maximum salary offered was 14 LPA and average was around 3 LPA. Internships were also provided by huge industrial giants like amazon, cognizant, etc.
Infrastructure: Wi-Fi facility is available in the campus. Labs are well equipped with all the needful equipment. Sports facilities are available. Medical facilities are available 24*7. A new canteen is made which is like a 5 star cafe. Everything is available inside the college itself.
Faculty: Teachers are good as well as helpful. Some had very high level of knowledge in their respective domain while some are practically sound. Teaching methods are a mix of traditional and new methods. Student to faculty is ratio is 50:1. Proper industrial visits were conducted by the college.

Overall, good and beautiful experience.
Placements: Chitkara is continually focusing on its placement. A lot of big MNCs visit the campus for the placements. Also, it conducts pool campus placement events. The package at Chitakara ranged from high to moderate. Overall, a good student is sure to get placed in a good company with a good package.
Infrastructure: Chitkara is one of the best when talked about infrastructure. One can say it is its USP. Fully Wi-Fi enabled campus, clean and green, beautiful classes makes it the best among all. Also, it has beautiful seminar halls, many huge playgrounds, ample eating options with a CCD on the campus.
Faculty: Course curriculum at Chitkara is regularly updated. So it will give you insight into all the current upcoming technologies. Chitkara University focuses on its faculty a lot. Though it does not have many experienced professors but the senior faculty at Chitkara is highly experienced and knowledgeable.
