Satisfied with college as I'm a 2018 batch passed out graduate. Very nice and decent college.
Placements: Placement is good but for CS & IT. Not many companies come for other branches. Courses offered are many and the facilities are good. Infosys, Wipro, cognizant, Capgemini, honda, uno mind, Asahi, tata, l&t and much more companies come for the placement. But all depends on you how you grab the placement.
Infrastructure: Hostel facility and food is nice. Many Hostel building for boys and 2 huge Hostel building for girls. Sports facilities are there. Buildings name are bhaba, sarojini, Kasturba, bose. Rooms are big and spacy. Big mess.
Faculty: Faculty members are trained and supportive. Many faculty members are well educated like B.Tech and M.Tech. Have deep and core knowledge of their domain. Irrespective of that there is a big library with lot of books you can go and read as much as you can. You'll enjoy learning there.
Other: Over-all environment is joyful. You'll enjoy your college life to the fullest I guarantee that. Concentrate on GPAs and get good placement when companies come.

Infrastructure is impressive with many facilities.
Placements: A good number of students got placed in software companies with a salary package of 3.6 LPA. The highest salary package offered was 8 LPA, the average salary package offered was 3.6 LPA and the lowest salary package offered was 1.2 LPA. The top recruiting company of our college was Hike which offered a salary package of 8 LPA and Polycab offered a salary package of 6 LPA. Other companies like Infosys, Cognizant and Wipro also visited here.
Infrastructure: The infrastructure of DIT is world-class with great ambience. There are different labs for different courses, and 24x7 Wi-Fi facility is also available. The library has over 1 lac books and over 1,000 latest computers for students. The hostel facility is good with mess serving wholesome meals. They also provide indoor and outdoor sports facilities, including a gymnasium.
Faculty: Teachers in our college are very helpful and well-trained, and they had great subject knowledge. This course curriculum doesn't make students industry-ready as students were not trained in that way. B.Tech EE is not about learning about machines and designs theoretically, but it is more about practical knowledge and implementing it that way.
Other: Placements in core branches are not good, and core branches require a lot of practical knowledge.

Review of DIT University.
Placements: I was not allowed to sit in any placement drive throughout my course, and I was not the only student who faced this issue. We were unable to know the reason. No one was there to look after this issue. The college is only concerned about the fee.
Infrastructure: The infrastructure of DIT University is awesome, and it is the most attractive infrastructure in Uttarakhand. It was placed in the centre of the valley of Mussoorie, Dehradun. The internal infrastructure of DIT University drives to a new form of being professional, and it is still on progress to be more attractive.
Faculty: Faculty members here were quite experienced and highly qualified with a great professional experience in their fields. The college provides masters in every area. Faculty members at DIT University were very humble and polite. They were very helpful in every field. They will help you wherever they can, and they will surely take a step forward to help and share their knowledge.
Other: Events were the most exciting days during our college days. I was the overall organiser of our college fest, Youthopia 2016-17 and 2017-18. Those are the best moments for every college student in the college.

Good infrastructure and faculty.
Placements: Maximum placements in the college were from the IT sector. The average salary package offered was 4-5 LPA. Three of our seniors got placed in Hike which offered a good package of 9 LPA. But, Hike did not visit after that. Since the internships are compulsory, almost all the students of different domains did an internship in their 3rd or 4th year, or sometimes even in the 2nd year.
Infrastructure: The location of the college is amazing. The infrastructure is good, and there are well-equipped labs and classrooms. The library is big, spacious and contains all the books that are required for the course. There is also a CCD outlet in the campus, apart from 2 cafeterias. Good parking space is available for those who bring their personal vehicles.
Faculty: Teachers are mostly M.Tech or PhD holders. They have good knowledge of their subject and are very approachable. Usually, chalk and board are used to teach, but new methods of using presentations are also being adopted. It is made sure that we make at least one industry visit during our tenure.

The college life was worthy, but not the college.
Placements: Placements in the college are not good for the students of the core branches like EE, ME, and civil. IT companies have recruited the maximum number of students from our college. A few good companies like Adobe, Dabur, Honda, etc., have visited our campus for recruitment. A few students were offered salary packages of 20 LPA. Most of the students were placed in companies like Cognizant and Infosys. Many students were not selected in any of the companies. The average salary package offered was 3-3.5 LPA.
Infrastructure: The college is always under construction. The campus environment is good. When we joined this college in 2011, the classrooms were not technologically advanced. They have provided whiteboards and projectors in the classrooms. I would rate 6.5/10 for the infrastructure.
Faculty: Faculty members of the college are not good. If students are good at learning, they can study anyway. They are not even ready to provide us with practical examples. The college should work on its course curriculum and mostly on recruiting skilled teachers. Evaluation of answer sheets is liberal.
Other: The college organises events on time, and the extracurricular activities are great. The crowd was full of fun.
