Comprehensive review of my B.Tech ECE program.

Placements: In the 2024 placement session, more than 250 recruiters visited the campus. The highest packages vary depending on the branch, and one source mentions a high package of 84.88 LPA, but that appears more for branches like CSE in 2023. Top companies for our course include big names like Google, Amazon, Adobe, IBM, Wipro, etc.

Infrastructure: GU central library reportedly holds over 1,74,700 technical books, many periodicals, and journals. It also has a digital library with more than 1,200 general reading rooms with 300-seat capacity, a book bank, and reference or leading facilities. The campus is described as fully Wi-Fi enabled, as wired and wireless internet access is reported to be available 24x7.

Faculty: Most teachers are M.Tech qualified or PhD holders. Many teachers are helpful and supportive, especially in CSE, ECE, and core engineering labs. Some teachers are very good. The teaching quality is mixed as a few teachers are average, and some just follow PPTs. The overall teaching is good, but not exceptional, depending on the teacher.

Review of Graphic Era Hill University.

Placements: In our college, almost 50-90% of students are placed. The average salary package offered is 3 LPA to 8 LPA and the highest salary package offered is 20 LPA to 30 LPA. Top recruiting companies like L&T, BHEL, Tata Motors, etc., visit our campus. Almost 50-80% of students get internships. Top roles offered are software engineer and hardware engineer.

Infrastructure: Some institutes have single or shared rooms with basic amenities such as beds, study tables, and storage tables. Sports, medical facilities, and games are available.

Faculty: Our teachers are qualified and knowledgeable. The course curriculum is relevant. It makes students industry-ready. Semester exams depend on the institute and course. The pass percentage depends on the course and institute.

Other: I chose this course because of more job opportunities. Our college organises many events.

The college is good for education. It highly places the students. The campus is beautiful.

Placements: About 80% of the students got placed in the electrical engineering department. The highest salary package offered is 55 LPA, and the lowest salary package offered is 5 LPA. Top recruiting companies like Syska, Bajaj and Siemens visit our college for placements. The highest salary package offered in electrical engineering is 5 LPA, and the lowest salary package offered is 7 LPA. About 80% of the students got an internship in companies like Wipro, Samsung, Adobe, SNS and Cisco.

Infrastructure: The infrastructure of our college is good. The campus is huge. The college provides all the facilities for students. According to our course, labs are good as well as faculty members. All the classrooms are equipped with a projector and Wi-Fi facility. The library is huge. The am not a hostel student, but my friends told me that the hostel is good. All facilities are provided in the hostel. There are 4 canteens, and it serves good food. All types of games are played by the students. Last time football tournament and tug of war are conducted.

Faculty: All teachers in our college are good, helpful and highly qualified. They are PhD holders. Their teaching quality is good. In our course, the teachers are good. HODs in our course are also good. They are teaching with the best experience.

Other: I have chosen this course because this course is best for jobs, and it is easy to get a job. I wish the college should provide a good job. All types of events are organised at our college. Scholarships available to the students are good. All types of activities are conducted at our college.

Satisfied with the department of electrical engineering which helps students to grow and learn.

Placements: Placements are very good currently and also in the past. More than 900 students are placed in just one week of the placement process. Graphic Era is doing its best in conducting placement drives. New companies are invited to college every year. Placements are also conducted for various branches individually.

Infrastructure: The infrastructure of Graphic Era is very good. The campus has greenery all around. The infrastructure is comfortable that motivates students for learning and growing. Classrooms are spacious. Wi-Fi facility is available. Facilities are available for every sport. The library is peaceful.

Faculty: The teaching quality in the university is excellent. The department of electrical engineering is very helpful for students. The methods of teaching are excellent and simple, and the students can easily understand the concepts. Every theory is also explained practically which makes the topic easier.

Other: The college conducts many events like fest, cultural activities, sports day and cricket tournament. Scholarships are awarded to the meritorious students.

Nice university but have small faults.

Placements: Placement is almost for everyone if they are eligible for sitting in it but most of the companies come for CS. Most of the companies are of CS but sometimes core company of electrical engineering also come. The salary was based on the student performance during there interview.

Infrastructure: Big enough for students and got everything needed over there. Labs are well maintained but needed a little bit of check on instruments. Cafeteria have most types of food available but they are bit expensive. Classrooms are well maintained and Wi-Fi is almost available inside everywhere in campus.

Faculty: As being a student over there I love my stay. And faculty are always supportive and always ensure to clear the course before the given time and then helps in clearing the doubts and explains the way how to score good marks in competitive exams. There knowledge related to their subject is vast.

Other: Our chairman always have tried to make fests more fun from previous ones which students really enjoys.

The infrastructure and facilities are awesome.

Placements: The placement in 2015 and 2014 in my batch and the senior batch was average. Approximately 40% students were placed. The highest salary offered was approximately 3.5 LPA. The lowest salary offered was approximately 1.8 LPA. The average salary offered was 2.5 LPA. The companies which were visited are Infosys, Wipro, Evergreen, JBM etc., are mostly IT companies. The internship was done outside companies. There is a placement cell, and it is average.

Infrastructure: Wi-fi, lawns, classrooms, library, medical facilities, sports and games, conference room, etc. are available. The quality of labs and classrooms are very good. The quality of the food available in the canteen is excellent. The hostel rooms are very good. I didn't face any infrastructure related issue during my tenure at the college.

Faculty: Teachers were helpful, qualified and knowledgeable. The teaching quality is very good. The teaching method varies with different teachers. The student to the facility ratio is good. I get industry exposure from Bhagwati private limited. The course curriculum is useful to us.

Other: The college has events, fest, campus crowd, connectivity, campus surrounding, scholarship, and extracurricular activities.

I am totally satisfied with my experience at Graphic Era University.

Placements: Most of the big IT Giants like Infosys, Wipro, Accenture, etc. visit the campus for placements. The college provides personality development and aptitude development classes before the placement and this really helps a lot during the placements. Just make sure you don't have any backlog at the end of the third year, otherwise, you will not be eligible for the placements. Placements are taken care of by the placement cell with is very well organized.

Infrastructure: This is the best part of the college. You can't expect a better infrastructure from the college, it gives you a feeling of a 5-star resort and that too in a place like Dehradun. Coming to the education part, there are so many high-tech developed labs and a huge library to study. Sports facilities are also quite good covering sports like football, cricket, badminton, basketball, volleyball, table tennis, etc. Hostel facilities are also very good with nice spacious rooms and decent food.

Faculty: The course curriculum is very well-structured and keeps on changing according to the industry to keep the students up to date with the industry requirements. Most of the facilities are very helpful and have done the education from highly recognized universities.

Other: Graphic Era is the most happening place to be in Dehradun. There are so many events which are evenly scheduled throughout the year. The main event is Grafest and trust me you can't even imagine how grand this is. Just look at the pictures on Google.

The best institution of Uttarakhand.

Placements: Placements of Graphic Era University are really good. In our final year, two students got a placement with an annual package of around 10 lakhs. I also got selected in a company which is located in Dehradun itself but due to some personal reasons, I was not able to join it. But even after that, our counsellor helped all the students in getting placements in various companies which visited our campus. The lowest package offered was 3 lakhs.

Infrastructure: The infrastructure is very good. Conditions of classroom and labs are really nice and students get to learn a lot of things and practical work in there. Sports and games are available not only for hostel students but also for day scholars. In my opinion, our canteen offers better food than other private institutions. The food is hygienic, fresh and tasty. The hostel infrastructure is also good. Each room is sufficiently big enough for 2 students. No problem was faced by any student during all 4 years of my engineering.

Faculty: The faculty team is very supportive and intelligent. One of our faculty members, Mr.Arun sir, also has a Guinness Book of World Record on his name for teaching for the longest time in one run. So, this explains the hard work and support which faculty members provide to the students.

Other: Graphic Era University is the best in Uttarakhand in all sectors like education, infrastructure, teaching tactics, knowledge-providing techniques, hostel facilities, sports etc. That could be the reason that why the maximum number of students is getting placed outside India also.
