A satisfactory college experience for engineering students.

Placements: Placement in our college is quite good, especially for CSE students. This year, 50 students from our campus got placements in companies through on-campus recruitment. With the right training and preparation, students have a bright chance to get placed. That is why I give 4 out of 5 ratings to the placement.

Infrastructure: Infrastructural support for my course is good. It has properly equipped classrooms and labs. Along with conducive learning atmosphere. Hostel facilities are also adequate with basic facilities and a comfortable living atmosphere. In essence, infrastructural support is very good for academics and living.

Faculty: The teaching faculty in my course is very cooperative and well-versed in the subject matter. They can clarify concepts well. The coursework is well-organized and includes both theoretical and applied knowledge. Exams are held regularly. They are moderate intensity.

I suggest students do not join this college if they want to become engineers.

Placements: Around 70% of students get placed. The highest package is 24 LPA. No established company is the top recruiting company here. There are no proper internships for final-year students, and average roles are offered to students. Overall, there are decent placements. CSE-related branches and ECE students get jobs.

Infrastructure: It has the average infrastructure of labs and classrooms with no Wi-Fi. The hostel is too bad with no proper rooms and bad food. The canteen is a big setback with the worst food and no encouragement for sports and games. It has average medical facilities.

Faculty: Teachers do not teach us properly, and they are not knowledgeable. The course curriculum does not make students industry-ready. Semester exams are of moderate level. The pass percentage is good, and there are strict rules for semester exams. Students with below 75% attendance are strictly ineligible. Their teaching is average.

A good experience of MVJC.

Placements: The college has above-average placements, with an average package of around 7 Lacs per annum for students in the ISE and CSE departments. The college handles the placement process effectively, and the environment is calm and conducive to learning. To be eligible for placements, students need a CGPA of between 6.5 and 7.

Infrastructure: The college infrastructure is pretty decent. There is a lawn, a canteen with a juice center, and three buildings. The campus includes a large field for multipurpose games and a basketball court. The college hostels are within the campus, and there is a central library inside the college.

Faculty: Exams take place every month, known as internals, and are conducted smoothly. Teachers explain concepts very well, and the teaching is above average. Strictness during exams and maintaining a level of decency in the hall are prioritized, which is essential. The curriculum is the same as VTU's.

Engineering College review .

Placements: About 60% of the seniors got placed with an average package of 6 LPA, and the highest package went up to 15 LPA. Internship offers within the college are good, and students are guided by the teachers themselves. The roles offered to students in my course are usually software developers.

Infrastructure: Proper labs and department space are available. Classrooms are big and spacious, with green boards, fans, and windows. There is also the availability of smart boards. The canteen food is affordable and tastes good. The other areas, like the playground and sports activities, are good.

Faculty: The teachers are qualified and but don't have enough knowledge about the subjects. The curriculum is updated and relevant to the real world The college is autonomous and the exams difficult level of the exams is moderate to difficult. The teaching quality is not really good.

Absolutely grateful to the supportive faculty members.

Placements: Almost 70 to 80% students in our course get placed in some of the respectable and well-reputed organisations. Some of the companies in which they get placed are Infosys, TCS, etc. Students do get placed in startup companies as well. The placement cell is extremely supportive.

Infrastructure: The infrastructure of the campus is quite good. Students are provided with facilities like Wi-Fi, labs, neat and tidy classrooms, library, canteen, sports ground etc. The food provided at the canteen is average. The food provided at the cafeteria is pretty good.

Faculty: Almost all faculty members are highly qualified professionals. Most of them teach really well. They are extremely helpful and supportive. They encourage students to conduct seminars and presentations to gain confidence. They encourage students to express their ideas and perspectives.

It is a college with less enjoyments but it is career friendly.

Placements: Our college is too good in placements. It is one of the top 50 colleges in Bangalore. Our college had good placements in IS and CS branches but not good for other branches. This year, at our college, the highest salary package offered is 11 LPA and most of our seniors got an average salary package of 8 LPA.

Infrastructure: Our college has a good infrastructure facility. It has a vast playground and a library which has also a facility to study peacefully. There is a gym separately for both boys and girls and a good canteen facility. But our hostel is not too good. They don't have attached bathrooms. They give a variety of food but they are not too tasty.

Faculty: Our teaching staff members are too good. They are experts in their subjects. They treat students as freinds. Exams are very strict. We have to remove slippers before entering the exam room. The exam question paper is of moderate difficulty. We can easily pass but have little difficulty scoring good marks.

Other: From my first semester to this third semester, no college fests or events are conducted in our college. But they frequently conduct career related programs in our auditorium.

MVJCE comes under the top 20 engineering colleges in Bangalore. Now it is an autonomous college.

Placements: MVJCE is the best for ECE every time. Companies like Jaro Education, TE Connectivity, Microfocus, and LTI companies usually visit our campus for recruitment. They offer very decent salary offers. There is a well-managed cell for placements. Faculty also help students with placement training.

Infrastructure: MVJ College of Engineering has very neat and clean living spaces. The college has the necessary infrastructure and relates to facilities like Wi-Fi, and benches for a single person helps in social distancing also. Food is hygiene and non-vegetarian food is not allowed on campus. Apart from the academic growth and contribution for which the college has been established 35 years ago, there have been individual areas in which the college along with its students have striven to excel like Robotics and industrial automation, etc.

Faculty: Faculty members in our college are seniors and they teach in detail. If a student is facing a problem in understanding any subject, the faculty is ready with the student to explain even more times.

Other: In our college, they conduct various fests like a hackathon, robotic related workshops to help the students to gain knowledge with the senior-most lecturers.

Amazing infrastructure, really good placements in the year 2020, helpful and friendly faculties.

Placements: The quality of placement is good in MVJCE. Nearly 70-80% of the students get placed every year. The college management and staff is really supportive during the placements and a student of good caliber can easily get placed. The highest package goes upto 12-14 Lacs and the average can be anywhere close to 4-5.

Infrastructure: The infrastructure looks great and newly constructed. The buildings have spacious corridors, classrooms along with full Wi-Fi facilities. Labs are well-equipped. The living spaces ( hostels ) are very clean and neat. Libraries are well maintained and regulated. Enough space to sit in the lawn, play in the grounds etc.

Faculty: I'm a final year student studying Information Science and engineering in MVJCE. The teachers of my department are very friendly and supportive in every aspects of my academics. The teaching quality is good and some of the teachers teach topics based upon real life and application oriented which according to me is a really good way of teaching and making the students understand about the subjects.
