B.E. in Electronics and Communication Engineering - Batch of 2028

College is not good and I don't recommend you people to join this.
Placements: Placements are not at all good. It is way more complicated and does not help students to get placed. The highest package ranges from 7 LPA - 8 LPA. The lowest salary is 2 LPA. It is not good for students. It is way more complicated and not useful for all the students and not very helpful.
Infrastructure: Facilities are good and they are strict in their own way. They make more money from it and library is a good thing to happen in our college. It's good to be part of the library and is useful to us. It is way more bigger and has almost all kinds of books.
Faculty: Exams are good. Teachers are knowledgeable and have greater experience. They have great PhDs done in their own branch. They are strict sometimes and have great thoughts. Sometimes they are not helpful to us and have some target towards students.
Other: I chose this branch as my friends told me to. Crowd is too huge to handle and it's huge. We can't even stand in that crowd. Campus surroundings are good.

This college has the worst campus placement.
Placements: Only 25% of students got placed, with the average package of about 3.2 LPA. No top recruiting companies are coming to our college. Some recruiting companies like IBM, Tech Mahindra, etc., visit or college. Only 25% of students got internships. Electronics engineering and VLSI engineering, course helps to learn both hardware and software.
Infrastructure: They provide bus facilities for long range, infrastructure is good. College has a separate building for 1st year and department. There is no Wi-Fi facility, classrooms are good, and library is nice. Hostel management is not good in our college.
Faculty: Teachers are very helpful in solving problems, and teaching quality is not good. They give too much of assignments, they aren't ready for industrial skills. This college doesn't provide industrial visits. Exams are a little difficult and the pass percentage is 45%.
Other: I chose this course because I wanted to become a VLSI engineer. The best thing about the course is it is a full interesting and innovative course. No events and fests are conducted. There is good connectivity. Campus surroundings are good. Scholarships are not provided. Extracurricular activities are not conducted.

Maharaja Institute of Technology, Mysore.
Placements: Around 50%, I guess? It's still going on. There's another semester that needs to be completed, so there are students who have given interviews, including me. I've been placed in one. The highest is 6 LPA and the lowest is 3 LPA. The top recruiting companies, I would say, are HP and IBM.
Infrastructure: I don't know about the hostel because I'm a day scholar. I know they provide good food, snacks, and hot water facilities. Also, they don't allow us into the hostel without a reason. There are timings for hot water. Yes, there is also a mess canteen for food, which is good.
Faculty: Yes, the teachers are helpful, actually. Teachers from my department are really good, but they are strict. Yes, they do make us industry-ready because they give us assignments related to our subjects, which helps us a lot. Semester exams are not so difficult; in fact, I have an exam tomorrow, and I'm writing this review here.
Other: I chose this because my family wanted me to. I wish they would organize more functions.

Not a very good college. Please don't waste your money on this. Look at your options.
Placements: With the current situation (Recession) and the fact that mass recruiters are not hiring anymore, there are literally zero placements this academic year. I guess the average salary is 3 LPA. Or less maybe, and the highest is 10-12, or at least that's what I've heard.
Infrastructure: Yes! About the canteen, the worst canteen ever seen in a college campus, extremely unhygienic and overcrowded. It's like a shithole. Seriously, I'm not a hosteller, so can't say about that. But from what I've heard, it's decent, not that it's great or something.
Faculty: Some lecturers are great, some the worst! This is the case with every branch. The pass percentage is surprisingly high. Don't know what the percentage is exactly, but almost all get through. And definitely, the course and curriculum do not make a student industry-ready. You'll have to work your *** off to gain skills and knowledge, as the current curriculum gets you nowhere.
Other: I chose EC out of interest. Honestly, the best thing about this course that I've found out is that you can get through into hardware/software companies. Other than that, I think there is scope for electronics right now, at least for another decade for sure. I don't think we'll face the same issue as the CS/IS, who are struggling to get into any IT company at all. And about the crowd in this college. Ughhh! The worst. It's like the campus is too tiny for the number of students they've admitted. It's very overcrowded and extremely frustrating, and you'll have to forget yearly fests as they organize a measly bi-annual fest, which is again inferior to the competition (JCE/NIE).

Blessed to be in Mitm.
Placements: 100% placement is done this year in ECE department. Highest package is 7lpa and the lowest is 3 LPA. Too many companies visited like wipro intel and many more. Internship was provided to each and every student before hand of the placements. Eligibility is the most important.
Infrastructure: All the facilities are well and good like campus is very clean always its green because of tress around the campus and also we have shops in open theater. Hostel facilities are livable its very the safest for girls. And has separate hostel for girls and boys.
Faculty: All teachers are friendly in nature. Their qualifications and also other knowledge is excellent. The knowledge the college provides is sufficient to get placed in any company. Students have to study and prepare well. As our college is under VTU, the exams are too hard.

If you seek only studies, then you can join here.
Placements: The students with about 6.5 CGPA are selected for placements. 8-10 LPA is the highest package offered. Infosys, TCS, Wipro, BYJU's, Mr Captain, etc., came here.
Infrastructure: There is no Wi-Fi facility for 1st-3rd year students. The labs and classrooms are well-equipped. Hostel facilities are good. There are no cultural activities, and the mess and canteen are good. There are no separate periods for games and sports. Moreover, they conduct 1 or 2 events a year, not more than that.
Faculty: The teachers are well experienced and very helpful for students. Almost 90% is the average passing percentage. It's actually very difficult to pass with the VTU syllabus. At the end, teachers become very strict while giving marks.
Other: In the electronics and communication batch, there's no other support except studies. Education is very good. The crowd is moderate. Events and fests are not at all celebrated. There are no extracurricular activities.

The college is one of the best and top colleges.
Placements: The placements are very good in our college. The college provides good placement training from professional trainers and also the management of placements is very good. They train us in personality development to ensure that students are placed not only according to their marks but also their personality and confidence.
Infrastructure: The college is away from city life and has very good, yet compact, campus. It has a designated section for each department like civil, mechanical, electronics and communication, computer science and information science, with well-equipped laboratories. We also have a well-equipped library with smart books and Wi-Fi facilities.
Faculty: The college follows VTU, and the syllabus of subjects is taken seriously. There is no issue with the faculty. Lecturers are well experienced and knowledgeable and are very well-qualified. They also aid us to learn not only the syllabus but also applications of subjects that we are learning.
Other: Electronics and communication is very applicable field in today's life and plays a major role. Many events are conducted, like tech fest, IEEE, etc., for students where we explore our potential, but it needs to look into other cultural fests and inter-branch fests, which is very disappointing.

Mit Mysore fests: vibrant cultural, technical, and patriotic events that enrich students life.
Placements: Campus placement activity is generally described as a modertae to weak - only a handful of companies visit with limited on -campus recruitment and well equipped campuses labs auditorium sports fields and library recognised by students as excellent and hostel is good.
Infrastructure: Wi-Fi labs classrooms and library all these ar excellent and students can get more benifit from this and in hostel the food and Wi-Fi and B.Ed washrooms are good and spacious and veriliated rooms and good amibians and food and basic facility issues reported.
Faculty: Mit Mysore boasts a robust teaching team with approximately 199 faculty and secitigi staff, including a mix professor and carriculm overview core branches, CS ECE, mechanical and more even MBA and MCA like that and evelatuions of faculty quality vary .
Other: Mahadasra this is annual cultural and sports event Type inter college cultural and sports festand thatragnyan thia include project and engineers day so many event is there.
