MGIT - The life of a Student.
Placements: The percentage of students placed in my course stands at 20% - 30% as of now. We are only halfway through the academic year, and that number will increase in due course. The top recruiting companies till now are Data BEAT, Cognizant, etc. Frankly speaking, not many students got an internship in my course. But that can be accredited as the students' fault, as the placement is working day in and day out to get the companies, and they are getting the companies, so much so that we are having one placement drive every week.
Infrastructure: The infrastructure of our college is pretty good. We have 30 acres of land and a total of 5 blocks for various engineering departments. The facilities too are good. We have a canteen and a food truck in the college that provide healthy food to the students.
Faculty: The faculty of my course is supportive, and they never say no to anything the students wish for. They are well-experienced and qualified. The quality of teaching is pretty good. The course curriculum is pretty good and relevant to what we need in the real world.
Other: One thing I would like to improve in my college is the lab infrastructure and the equipment in the lab.

College not good for placements.
Placements: 30% of the students received their job offers, and others are still searching for jobs in our courses. 7 LPA is the highest package, 2.5 LPA is the lowest package, and the average is 4 LPA for our courses. Those companies are startup companies. Fewer students completed internships.
Infrastructure: Facilities and infrastructure are available for your courses and departments. Wi-Fi is present, labs have requirements, classrooms have digital screens available, and libraries are good. Hostels are separated for boys and girls. The mess and canteen provide good food. Medical facilities are there. There are no sports.
Faculty: Teachers are very helpful for the students, knowledgeable, and have good teaching skills. At our college, there are no curriculum activities for our courses. Students prepared themselves. All semester exams are easy to pass. 90 is the passing percentage.

College is good and satisfactory because of the infrastructure.
Placements: 83% of students are placed in Electrical and Electronic Engineering. In my EEE course, the highest package is 12 LPA, the lowest package is 4.5 LPA, and the average package is 7.5 LPA. In my college and in my ECE course, top recruiting companies are Intel India, Qualcomm, Texas Instruments, Broadcom, NXP Semiconductors, MediaTek, Micron, Samsung Semiconductor, and AMD. In my course, the offered roles are embedded software engineer, IoT engineer, firmware developer, control systems engineer, automation engineer, and R&D engineer.
Infrastructure: In my college, the facilities are good and comfortable, and the infrastructure of my college is very good and well-maintained. In my course of EEE, classrooms are maintained and cleaned every day. In my hostel, water and electricity are available 24 hours, and the quality of food is good. In the mess, hygienic food is available, and there is a hospital on campus. Sports facilities are good, and an indoor stadium is available in my college.
Faculty: In my college, teachers are good, and their behavior towards students is positive. They have good knowledge, and the curriculum is correct and relevant to electrical and electronics engineering. It generates interest in practical things like chip manufacturing. Semester exams are slightly tough, and the pass percentage is 83%.
Other: I am choosing electrical engineering because I am interested in connections everywhere; that's why I chose electrical. In my college, there are small amenities like a garden, and in my course, I hope to have more practical labs. Events and fests are going well, and the campus crowd is large. Scholarships are provided by the Mahatma Gandhi Institute of Technology, and connectivity is good in my college.
