Manipal Institute of Technology offers a two-year MTech course across 29 specialisations. The admission process is common for all the MTech specialisations. To apply for any MTech sepecialisation, the minimum eligibility is to pass graduation in BTech. Manipal MTech fee for a 2-year course ranges between 2.16 L- 3.46 L. This range contains the tuition fee for all MTech specialisations. Apart from this fee, candidates also have to pay an application fee of INR 600 (for General candidates) at the time of filling the application form. There is a separate registration fee of INR 1,400 for entrance examination.

MIT Manipal admissions to all the UG & PG courses is entrance-based, except for MCA. In order to get admission to Manipal Institute of Technology, candidates are required to qualify for MET, which is an in-house entrance exam of Manipal University.  Manipal Institute of Technology has no provision of direct admission except for the two-year MCA course, where candidates for this PG course is selected based on their merit obtained in the last qualifying exam of undergraduate.
