I'm completely satisfied with my college's placements infrastructure and all facilities.
Placements: Placement wise NITK is one of the best college of India. I'm currently studying m tech and I will complete in June 2018. There is 99% placement of CSE and IT departments and others departments placement also better than other colleges. In this college more than 150+ companies come every year.
Infrastructure: Infrastructure is one of the best part of NITK. It has large campus. Newly Established Departments, lecture hall complexes they have large classrooms with projector and speakers and mikes. NITK has central library and central computer center. For medical facilities it has health care centre, for sports it has two sports complexes one is older and another is newly Established. It also has 15 hostel blocks and one hostel block is under construction. Labs are very good and food quality in canteens is also good.
Faculty: I don't know other departments faculty members but I can tell about my department's faculty members. In my department all faculty members are highly educated and highly experienced. The teaching methods of the faculty members is presentation based. They teach by laptops and projectors. They are very helpful. Here one teacher has four students in m tech. They also send their students to industry for internship.
Other: There are a lots of events and fest occurs. Some of the technical and some of cultural and sports. There are a lots of clubs working for extra curricular activities.

National institute of technology, surathkal ( pros& cons).
Placements: Placements was not there for M.Tech students. This is very sad. We students work hard for GATE exam and qualify it then take admission only on the name of college but what we get in reverse. Zero placements. Placements are good for B.Tech but for m. tecg it is horrible.
Infrastructure: Infrastructure us really good. It includes college, classroom, library and hostel all are really good and up to mark. I am quite happy with the facilities. And also it has good and rich laboratory as well as sports complex and Private Beach. I am quite happy and Satisfied.
Faculty: Faculty members are obviously good. But these days what happen they are more into consultancy work rather than teaching students. These things needs to be changed. We are really hopeful from our teachers but these they are more into their benefit. Course is okay.

Good placement, infrastructure is improving , need improvement in food, some faculties are good.
Placements: Placement is good. If you have good talent nothing can stop you. Average is 10lpa. Most of the students get placed. For my batch it went really fine. The lowest was 4lpa and the highest 24lpa. I have not included the one from offcampus. Super dream companies also come at end. Different possible roles student get are technical staff, analysis, research side, management, software engineer etc. Even for internship companies come n it all depends on student. If they r very much talented they take it. Many end up getting PPOs. Internship what I feel is very much useful as it gives u experience of working with the company plus u get more efficient in deciding what to do next. Also after PPO u can relax a bit as u need not go through much interviews. In M.Tech few got as only a few did and n B.Tech a lot of them got.
Infrastructure: We have got good labs. Many of the departments are newly constructed. Canteen need to improve. Not much options we have. Sports is also good here. We have two sports complex plus various sports teams representing outside college. We go out to play and have also received trophies. Day by day the infrastructure is improving but still need an improvement in canteens and food. Medical facility is just fine here. Nothing great nothing less.
Faculty: Teachers are helpful not all. Nothing will be spoonfeeded at this time. Your effort is very much required. Method is fine. More options should be provided. As in M.Tech strength be less we need to take elective based on other s choice as for just two or three students it's difficult to arrange a staff. Student to faculty ratio for M.Tech is like 2:5. excluding ALs and PhDs as sometimes even they take class. Curriculum is fine good. We get internship option but only for like two months. Our college prefer inhouse projects.
Other: We get scholarship from DRDO as we have cleared GATE. But some management rules really need to be improved as they r not in favour of students. A *** lot of extra curricular activities keep happening in campus so it's really good.

The college is having a private beach.
Placements: Here, the placements are very good, and all major tech giants come to recruit here every year, and some of them are Intel, Microsoft, Amazon, Oracle, IBM, Dell, Qualcomm, uber, Intuit, and many more. The average package of M.Tech, CSE students here is above 9 LPA, and some of the students got a package as high as 22 LPA, but most will get in the range between 12 LPA- 17 LPA. One of the most important things here is you will get your joining in Bangalore only.
Infrastructure: Infrastructure wise this college is very good, and all departments have the advanced infrastructure, and especially lecture hall complexes are very good here and maintained properly. All labs are air conditioning and systems are of very good configuration and working very well in the college.
Faculty: The course curriculum of M.Tech, CSE is not very good, and most of it will be theoretical. There is lack of projects and lab work, but some faculty members are very good and have advanced knowledge in their field namely Mohit sir, and Alvin sir in CSE department have very deep knowledge in their area.

M Tech from NITK experience.
Placements: For second year major project, I joined Dell EMC company as an intern, then after completion of internship, I joined as a full time employee. Placement herr is very good, you will get lot of companies to appear for placements here. Maintain 7 CGPA and you will have chance for more companies.
Infrastructure: Infrastructure is very good here. Playground is there. Gym, badminton courts are there. Hostels are good. Food is south indian mostly. You will have night canteen and you can order for room delivery. Beach is there to roam around. Faculty members are good here.
Faculty: Faculty members are nice here. No partiality here. They are supportive in nature. Teaching style and methodology is good. You can interact with them easily. You can ask doubts and get them clarified. Overall highly skilled faculty members and staff. Assignments and all will be there. Very good evaluation system.

NITK is one of the top 10 colleges in India.
Placements: The percentage of the number of placement students is high for B.Tech courses. But when we consider the master degree courses like M.Tech, MBA and M.Sc. The above-said percentage is below 50 percent, still NITK posses high placements as compared to other nicks.
Infrastructure: NITK is famous for its infrastructure. It consists two campuses, western and eastern on both sides of the roads. As like any other NITS it's infrastructure includes good facility departments, swimming pools, playgrounds, banks schools etc. The main attraction of NITK was its private beach. NITK is the only college in India which has a private beach.
Faculty: NITK is an autonomous college. It decides it's courses, curriculum, and faculty members. NITK has a very efficient board which repeatedly reviews and changes its curriculum so that students be able to be exposed to the new industrial atmosphere around us.

NITK Sueathkal, overall review.
Placements: The placements here, I would like to write in five-point. In B.Tech, all branches have good placement. Overall, 85+% student get placed. M.Tech CS, IT, CMA, and VLSI these branches have good placement. Mechanical DP, MC and, thermal have 55-60 placement. The mechanical manufacturing placement is not good merely 35%. The civil placement is not good. The electrical power system this time 6 out of 18 got placed. Other than that, the placements depend on candidate skill not branch because many companies come for the manager or data scientist or finance profile. They need good English, basic coding (optional) and aptitude skill. The average salary of my batch up to now for design (mechanical) 6.5 lakhs/annum. Only 6 out of 15 got placed up to now. It's still going on. Other than that, whatever written over NITK placement site is all true like the average package, numberr of companies comes etc. All are correct there.
Infrastructure: Wi-Fi (Y), design lab and Bosch automation lab, vibration lab, composite preparation lab, TEAM, SEm lab. The medical facility is available with the lack of insurance. This insurance won't cover the disease which is already with you before coming here like the eye, some allergic. This insurance coverage is mainly for any accidental case. NITK hospital will refer you to any of attaching good hospital where everything will be free to play such as you can don't worry about the accident. The sports facility is good but not for M.Tech it's more toward B.Tech I will say. There are many committees here, but the M.Tech involvement is less there. No such particular committee for the M.Tech student. The carrom room, chess room, lawn tennis, badminton (indoor), basketball, cricket and football ground are all available up to 10:30 pm, so it's all for you guys. You will surely enjoy if you are a sports addict. The gym is also here with all good instruments. So gym addict good news that gym is dominant by the master student. The mechanical department is reconstructed this year till 6th floor earlier it was 3, floor only.
Every new lab has been installed like audrino for mechatronics, and many are there including Hexagon design lab. The canteen food is good, but the mess is not. Almost every mess is the worst means after one month of food you will hate it. Both non-veg and veg mess is there.
The rooms are very good. The water problem during the summer season. Even in the 2nd year, you will get a single room. I didn't face any infrastructure issue. I rate it as 9/10.
Faculty: The mechatronics faculty and courses both are good. For design student, neither the course, not faculty is good. Means the faculty members are of high quality, but they are not serious about the student activities. None of the design software or analysis software is mandatory. But there are ADAM, modelling, and analysis software like Andy's Comsole. I'm lab credit so you can learn just don't think of a course only this is what you need while the placements.
Other: If you have money issue while preparing for GATE again so join here and work hard in M.Tech, you will get surely the minimum 6 lacs per annum package. If you want to prepare then also join but keep in mind one year cost will go 1.50 lacs more than stipend you will get so take your decision wisely if you have the money problem because M.Tech placement in design is still 55-60% only. You will love the beach, the only college. In India which has it's beach. You will get a tag of NITK which is helpful in getting PhD in IITS and assistant professor jobs in the colleges and coaching.

Good campus for education, as well as you will have a college life with beach aside.
Placements: The placements for CSE, ECE, IT and EEE are very good compared to civil and mechanical in case of both B.Tech and M.Tech. The salary package reaches the maximum for CSE and IT, which is 20 LPA and 18 LPA. It may be even more than that. The remaining package is not that good, but you can expect very big companies.
Infrastructure: It has very good infrastructure like modern classrooms etc. The total college is enabled with Wi-Fi. There is a cricket stadium, sports complex, swimming pool, open theatre, central AC auditorium, big library with AC reading rooms, all types of courts, lecture halls and seminar halls are available. Recently, they inaugurated mechanical and chemical blocks.
Faculty: The faculty are professionals, and you will really get good experience with teaching. The bad thing is, they stick to the curriculum like assignments and surprise quizzes. Some teachers teach you in a practical way even better than another way. It has good laboratories for mechanical and materials.
