Manipal Institute of Technology Courses & Fees 2026: UG, PG, Doctorate Courses

MIT Manipal admissions to all the UG & PG courses is entrance-based, except for MCA. In order to get admission to Manipal Institute of Technology, candidates are required to qualify for MET, which is an in-house entrance exam of Manipal University.  Manipal Institute of Technology has no provision of direct admission except for the two-year MCA course, where candidates for this PG course is selected based on their merit obtained in the last qualifying exam of undergraduate. A merit list is prepared for candidates seeking admission to MCA based on their past academic records.  

Manipal Institute of Technology, MAHE tuition fee ranges between INR 1.2 L – INR 15 L for various courses. This fee is exclusive of other components, such as examination fee, application fee, etc. Therefore, Manipal Institute of Technology is moderately costly, in comparison to other engineering institutes. 

Manipal Institute of Technology JEE Main Cutoff 2026 was released for admission to the BTech course and its various specialisations among the All India categories students. 

For the General AI category, the round 1 cutoff ranged from 32577 to 102650, wherein BTech in Mathematics and Computing and B.Tech. in Civil Engineering were the most and least preferred courses for admission.

Manipal Institute of Technology has course specific eligibility criteria that must be fulfilled to gain admission. In BTech and MTech, it is necessary to show up in the Manipal Entrance Test (MET). Courses such as MCA are done through an admission procedure on merit basis in the final qualifying examination.
