The college excels in faculty, extracurricular activities, and infrastructure with average placement
Placements: Placements are available and it matters on your resume too. The average package goes up to 4 Lacs, while the higher package goes up to 17 Lacs. Most people prefer going for higher services such as civil services or NET. Some of the top recruiting companies are Nation with NAMO, Google, Accenture, ZS Associates. There are various internship offers released every day by the placement cell of Miranda House. Top roles offered in my course are Policy Analyst and in policy making usually.
Infrastructure: The infrastructure is the best among Delhi University. It is so pretty and far beyond imagination. For the hostel, Wi-Fi facilities are available. The library is open for all students from 8 am to 5 pm. DRC is also available till 5 pm, while for hostel students, it's open until 10 pm. There are 4 canteens available, while the mess food for hostellers is pretty average. They get meals two times a day with breakfast and high tea at their respective times. Sports facilities such as tennis area, badminton courts, basketball grounds, and various others are also available. The medical room is present both in the hostel and the college for emergency first aids. Some classrooms have AC facilities, while others don't. There are no AC or cooler facilities in the hostel. There are RO facilities all around the campus. The complete Science block has AC facilities, while the rooms are well-equipped and furnished. Classes also have projector facilities.
Faculty: Faculty can't be homogeneous; they are all different. Some teachers are very helpful and understanding, while others aren't. All the teachers are well-qualified, as the status of the college itself suggests. With the National Education Policy now, students are well-equipped with the skills needed in the industry. There are a lot of societies that would further enhance your skills to communicate, negotiate, listen, etc. Semester exams are not that difficult if you have studied enough. I won't say you could score high with one-day preparation, but if you attend regular classes and are consistent, even a bit, they are pretty average to score.
Other: The campus crowd is so diverse that you will get to connect with every corner of India while also seeing a few foreign students coming to Miranda to study. I am currently enrolled in the B.A. Programme. What happened with me when I was allotted the B.A. Programme in CUET 2024 was not very overwhelming, but eventually, after coming to Miranda, you will start loving not just the course but every inch of your college. The best thing about having a B.A. Programme is you have courses to choose from if you are going for a 4-year degree, which would also provide you with various research papers, boosting up your resume as well. You will also have various private scholarships and seminars happening in college that you can attend. Fests and events do happen, and they are super fun.

It is the best college. Students can learn and explore a lot.
Placements: Placements in Miranda are not great as compared to SRCC or Ramjas. Placements are decent for maths, science, and economics-related courses however for the B.A. program and B.A. honors it is not up to the mark. If students' sole purpose is placements, then check placements from other colleges.
Infrastructure: Miranda has one of the best infrastructures. The buildings, lawns, and canteens are well built and maintained. However, there is a connectivity issue in this college, which is a concern almost in all colleges. The air-conditioners are available in a few classes. The hostel is good, but there are no air-conditioners. The food is also good, and has many cats on the campus.
Faculty: Teachers are very knowledgeable and helpful. They will provide their level best and take extra classes and tutorials. The curriculum of 1st year BAP is easy, and the difficulty level increases as students go to the next semesters. Our semester 1 exam is OBE due to covid, and I am yet to give 2nd-semester exams.
Other: The vibe is good in this college. Students wear anything and everything they want. There are no judgments. It also provides new ideas and opinions.
