Love Miranda and everything here feels right.
Placements: We have quite a few students who get placements. Some of the best-known students are placed in Namo Bharat and many other government as well as private companies. Most companies prefer students to have different skills as well. That's all, I guess.
Infrastructure: One of the best parts about Miranda is the infrastructure. It makes you feel at home. The food at Millets makes you feel at home. The best part about Miranda is how you can be yourself on the campus. The hostel is pretty great. It has really good facilities.
Faculty: Teachers are obviously top-notch. The semester exams are pretty doable. The pass percentage is quite high. The course curriculum is decided after a lot of discussion by the faculty. This makes the curriculum even more apt and relevant for us students.

    Great campus, infrastructure, and teachers.
Placements: From what I've seen, placements are decent, but they depend more on the student. I think the average package is around 5-7 LPA. The highest is around 10 LPA. The top recruiting companies for my college are Deloitte, Amazon, Reliance, and others, although I am not sure about my course. There are also internship opportunities in roles like HR, content writing, marketing, research, etc.
Infrastructure: The infrastructure in our college is good compared to other DU colleges. Most rooms have air conditioning, and a few have smart boards. The library is extensive and has books for all subjects. We also have a separate Science wing for those courses with proper scientific equipment. The hostel infrastructure is really good, except for a few Wi-Fi problems from time to time. The quality of food is reasonable when seen in relation to our fee structure. We have proper medical help available and also sports facilities.
Faculty: Teachers in my course have very extensive knowledge of their subjects. They are all highly qualified and teach really well. The course curriculum is relevant to our subject but can be improved a little to make it industry-ready. The semester exams in the college are moderately tough. They are not very hard but not very easy either. I am not sure of the pass percentage.
Other: I chose this course because I have a deep interest in History and Geography. The best part about my course is that it gives me a multidisciplinary lens to view subjects and correlate things with each other. My course can be improved with new styles of assessment instead of the same old assignments. The events in the college are pretty good and peaceful compared to other colleges. The campus is beautiful, with a lot of greenery. It is a great space. Our college also has a lot of societies and clubs, with something for everyone's interests.

I will say Miranda is the best.
Placements: B.A. Honours Sociology is more about research work, it puts emphasis on making students well enough to do research work, as sociology is based on research. Our students rarely sit for placement as they mostly go for higher studies and research work abroad.
Infrastructure: The infrastructure of our college is one of the best in the Delhi University. We have different kinds of labs, even language labs, and we have separate department rooms, which make it easier for students to reach out to department teachers and related information as well. We have a separate section for sociology in our library. The seats in the hostel for my course are comparatively fewer in number, but this time they have introduced more hostel seats for the course, so its pretty good to hear this time.
Faculty: My course, I would say I love the faculty, their behaviour while teaching, and they are normally so considerate, like they are always open to changes and are ready to listen to our opinion and make a decision based on it. They are super good at teaching children to make use of academic opportunities and help us at the best.
Other: I would say Miranda is the best. It provides students with so many opportunities to learn new skills and grow at their best here and go rock the world. I am so proud to mention that Miranda is the only college to give their girls voting rights, which shows that it supports good politics and gives their girls the opportunity to be a part of shaping the politics and environment around them.

    Miranda House College review.
Placements: We are students of History and Geography, so we do not get many job opportunities from private companies. Students have to rely on government job vacancies or work for NGOs, etc. This does not mean that students are incapable of getting placements, but by creating a better portfolio, they can get hired.
Infrastructure: We have dedicated classrooms for the Geography department. They are well-equipped with modern instruments. The hostel has limited seats, and admission to the hostel is based on merit.
Faculty: We have excellent faculty. The B.A. programme department is very diverse. Professors from the Honors department come to teach us. They put in a lot of effort while teaching and try to teach beyond just the syllabus. We regularly go for museum visits too.
Other: It is the best the country has to offer for subjects like History and Geography.

    It has an intellectual environment.
Placements: In 2025-26 placement season, there were over 200 opportunities offered to students in our college. The highest salary package offered is 19 LPA. I our college, average package is 12.8 LPA, and the median package is 12.5 LPA. Students also got internship oppertunites with the highest internship stipend reaching 3 LPA. The placement batch comprises B.A. (Hons.). 47.5 percent, B.Sc. 26.2 percent, B.A. programme 20.2 percent, and BEL. Ed. 6.1 percent. Most students are pursuing the course. Some of the top recruiting companies are Salesforce, Lenskart, and Nation With NaMo. Recruiting streams are consulting, finance, banking, technology, marketing, e-commerce, investment research, and public policy.
Infrastructure: The hostel facility is excellent in Miranda House. Rooms are offered for sharing. Canteen food is also good including an enriching breakfast followed by an afternoon meal, evening snacks, and dinner. There is a specific timing for getting lunch and all. So it's a great experience for hostel students also since it saves a lot of time.
Faculty: Economics faculty of MH is excellent, highly intellectual and supportive. They provide a very good environment for us not just to score but to inculcate analytical and critical thinking in students. They are very supportive and understanding. This course gives you good placement if Integrated with required skills work such as consulting, research, and financial skills. Semester exams for my course are above-average difficulty because you can't pass them just by studying before the exam. You need to study consistently and deeply, not just write to learn, to score well in exams.
Other: I chose B.A. Economics hons because I was extremely interested in economics since my 11th class. I always wanted to pursue this course to learn the subjects I was fascinated by. The best thing about my course is that it inculcates great analytical and critical skills through this rigorous academic course which helps you in life to solve problems using reasoning and logic, calculate opportunity cost while making decisions, and be a rational human being. This course teaches you to live in a way to maximise your highest potential. Extracurricular activities of MH are very active, with a wide range of societies.

    Great experience with new opportunities.
Placements: For B.A. Political Science (Hons) at Miranda House, very few students (around 3-5 percent) take direct placements, most go for M.A., UPSC, and other exams. The college packages are around 7 LPA-8 LPA on average, with the highest being about 18 LPA-19 LPA, and companies like KPMG, Deloitte, Wipro, Uniqlo, NGOs, and policy organisations visit. Many students also get internships in NGOs, government, and research work, and later work as policy analysts, teachers, journalists, or in civil services.
Infrastructure: There are smart classrooms, full-campus Wi-Fi, a big library with digital resources, computer/DRC labs, clean washrooms, and good sports facilities like a gym and grounds. Hostel rooms are decent, but no AC, Wi-Fi, or laundry available. Mess food is mostly average, but canteen food is good, and the college has a medical room/clinic and many options for sports, NCC, and cultural activities.
Faculty: The teachers in the Political Science course at Miranda House are helpful, qualified, and knowledgeable, with a friendly approach. The teaching quality is good, focusing on practical learning, though the curriculum could be updated more for real-life skills. The semester exams are moderately difficult, with a pass percentage of around 90 percent, and it is easier to pass if students attend classes and prepare well. The course curriculum is relevant but could include more practical aspects to make students industry-ready, especially for civil services and policy-related roles.
