Events at Miranda House College are envied by other DU colleges.

Placements: Luckily, for Political Science, the placements have been impeccable, and that was the main reason I opted for this course and this college. Geography and Political Science students, so far as I know, have received the highest package of 8 LPA, and the average is close to 4 LPA.

Infrastructure: Our college infrastructure is all-season. The open canteen, trees, and greenery look so beautiful during the monsoon. Blocks are separate for both departments of the college, that is, Science and Arts. The tennis court and backyard are quite scenic. The library is also stocked with close to 1 lakh books.

Faculty: Faculty members of our college are mindful. They have taught us the same. Sometimes, as students, in the heat of the moment, we say and do things that are not right. Our faculty members, though, have taught us all this beyond textbooks, as most of the teaching for our course revolves around that.

Other: Experience-wise, Miranda House has provided the best. The quality also speaks for itself.

Miranda house is a great college.

Placements: Placements facilities for humanities courses are good but placements for B.A. courses are limited. Especially for B.A. programme course, B.A. students opt for Masters or competitive exams. B.A. students go for UPSC exams and other government exams. I've not heard about placements for B.A. courses.

Infrastructure: All classrooms have comfortable benches and tables. Rooms also have ACs and fans. There are 4 canteens on the campus and also a fresh juice counter. The network connection should be improved because in some rooms and halls network works otherwise there's no internet. The quality of food is good and have a wide range of varieties.

Faculty: Teachers are really helpful. They try to understand our thought process and help us to clear our doubts. They provide some videos and reading to understand the concepts much better. I've not given the semester exams yet. so I don't know about them. Teachers are well qualified.

Other: I chose this course because I was already interested in doing political Science and geography. They are my most liked subjects. The environment here is vibrant and seniors are very helpful. They answer our questions with patience.

Aesthetic is an understatement for Miranda House's infrastructure.

Placements: Miranda House, DU, has earned a name for itself due to the kind of placements that it provides. My majors are Political Science and Geography. Geopolitics is a prominent part of our course. Media houses that need political content creators and writers always look to Miranda House for placements. Thus, placements at Miranda House have always been among the highest after LSR among all the women's colleges of DU.

Infrastructure: Out of every facility that Miranda House provides, one should look at the cleanliness maintained on our campus. Our campus is always very tidy, and at Rs. 40,000 a year, students can avail hostel facilities too. My urge to buy new books and read them has increased as our library has various books beyond the courses as well.

Faculty: Both my specialized departments, Geography and Political Science, have quite special faculty members. One of our Geography professors can even answer the street names of famous cities. They are that knowledgeable. They always come well prepared before any lecture. This is certainly the best thing about them.

Other: Many short films and movies are shot at the Miranda House campus. It is one of the most aesthetic campuses one will ever find.

The best institution to dream of.

Placements: Placement of students in the B.A. is comparatively low. But students receive good opportunities through centres of policy research and NGOs. The B.A. Programme department provides students with opportunities to explore various fields and focuses on a holistic approach.

Infrastructure: The B.A. Program Department at Miranda House has really good infrastructure with proper Wi-Fi. The classrooms are well-spaced, with ACs and proper seating arrangements. We have a good canteen facility as well, with a variety of delicious and budget-friendly food. Medical facilities are available for all students, including a counsellor for mental health. The sports and games department is well-equipped with the required sports equipment. It has a very beautiful and large sports ground.

Faculty: The B.A. Program department has one of the best faculty. Teachers are really supportive and provide exam-oriented notes, which are very helpful. All teachers are very knowledgeable and treat students well. The teaching quality makes Miranda House one of the best institutions in India to be in. This curriculum is one of the best ways to gain knowledge about society and not just academic knowledge. Semester exams feel very easy because of the strong academically oriented atmosphere and supportive teachers.

Other: I chose the B.A. Program (Political Science + Geography) as my course, as I am really interested in both subjects. Together, they enhance my knowledge to the best. The fests and events of Miranda House are really very exciting and cheerful. This makes the campus atmosphere more fun.

Fine infrastructure and faculty are not as per NIRF rank 1.

Placements: From my batch of B.A. programs (Geography + Political Science), I didn't hear about any placements, particularly. Overall, the whole B.A. programme doesn't get much placement, to be honest. There is a need to enhance placement in programme courses at this college.

Infrastructure: The college infrastructure is quite aesthetic, with ample flowers and trees, and is full of greenery and beauty. Also have beautiful lawns. Classes are fine with windows for natural light and fans for light, but the main problem is that the whole arts block and hostel don't have AC.

Faculty: curriculum is fine not so good the papers you study here for political and geography are not in sync and seem complete. When it comes to faculty, it's fine Senior as well as assistant professor, except for some teachers in geography department.

Other: This course requires some better geography faculty than what is available now.

Everything about Miranda is just perfect, from its campus to its faculty.

Placements: I was not very sure about the placements because the companies that came were not very well known or had poor packages, but anyway, I did not sit for the placements. However, my classmates did get placed and were satisfied with their jobs. The highest package I remember was 22 LPA.

Infrastructure: No second thoughts at all. The best in DU, for sure. The red walls, the ground, airy classrooms, canteens, and even the open gym, everything was just perfect. Wi-Fi was available throughout the campus, and it actually works. The auditorium was huge and really good.

Faculty: Faculty was the sweetest and most friendly. They always ready to help, support, and guide well. Exams were just like exams. The course was as per the UGC guidelines and appropriate for the course one was pursuing. The pass percentage was only 33%, as far as I remember, but if one attends the classes regularly, it was not difficult at all.

Other: The crowd was mixed because there are reserved seats too. However, you will find the people in your psyche for sure. Overall, the crowd is really good. Here networking is essential. There is no extracurricular activities in college. From sports to debates, everything was there.

Placements: There are different societies in our college like The Placement Cell and The E-cell, which help provide internship and job opportunities to the students by contacting different recruiting companies. The average placements go up to 10-20 LPA. The top recruiters may include MakeMyTrip, Tech Mahindra, ICICI Bank, etc. In our course, B.A. Multidisciplinary, the students are mostly all-rounders and possess the qualities to be a part of such companies.

Infrastructure: Everything, including Wi-Fi facility, classrooms, and the library, is properly maintained in our college. The Science block is a new building with ramps, lifts, and air-conditioned labs equipped with necessary equipment. Every corner of our college has lush green gardens. The food in the canteen is good and fresh, and it also has a juice and shake center within it. Other than that, there is Nescafe and PAM providing all the food items one craves for. It has a big sports ground with tennis and basketball courts. The hostel is also good.

Faculty: The senior professors are good, helpful, qualified, and knowledgeable. They possess good experience and teaching skills. Although some assistant or newly joined professors are not up to the mark and lack basic knowledge of the concept sometimes. Our curriculum is based on the new education policy, 2020, which is new to the students as well as to the teachers. The semester exams are not difficult, and the majority of the students manage to pass even after studying in the last few days.

Other: B.A. Multidisciplinary course helps one to explore different subjects simultaneously. One also gets time to manage extra things one wishes to do side by side. There is no such burden, but still, there are deadlines for assignments, presentations, continuous and internal assessment. Events and fests are very common in our college. One can easily find one or the other event happening somewhere in college. They provide various opportunities to the students to grow as a person in personal as well as professional life.

Professors beed to be quality ones.

Placements: Placements are available only for the economics courses that too very less. Hardly there are any placements for science or other courses. Neither there are aby workshops or guidance from faculty to appproch the placements. The individual staff council societies however add value to your skill set

Infrastructure: Infrastructure is quite good in the sense of vibe however there is inadequacy of classrooms, benches, no wifi at all . There is no enough infrastructure for the disability section. Hostel facilities deteriorate day by day with the incharges just swaying off their work.

Faculty: Very few teachers are serious un studies or guiding the students. There goes equal internal politics in all the areas of extra curricular among students as well as teachers. Due to NEP everything is so messed up be it curricular or anything. There are strict concerns about attendance preventing students to be active in ecas or outside college activities.

Other: There are no enough support for students pursuing outside courses, or research internships.
