Miranda House hostel is its biggest highlight.

Placements: Economics and Political Science, both my subjects, have the best placements. Economics students regularly bag packages worth over 10 LPA from Miranda House, and Political Science students are not far behind. Miranda House has a history of placing its students in core departments.

Infrastructure: My parents laid down a condition that they would send me to DU only to a college which has a hostel. Miranda House thus became a perfect fit for me as its hostel is fantastic, and so is the rest of the infrastructure. There are 3 canteens, and one of them serves the best Rajma Chawal. The hostel mess also serves very hygienic and tasty food.

Faculty: For both my subjects, which are Political Science and Economics, our faculty members are fantastic. Even the HOD is so helpful that if we have any issues, we can easily approach her. Thus, faculty members and the HOD of Miranda House are very easily approachable, and that is more than I could even want from my faculty members.

Other: Tempest, our annual fest, earns enough limelight to be discussed in DU circles.

Miranda House offers excellent academics.

Placements: The placement cell of our college can help you get placements across India in various companies and NGOs. The foreign education programme is now available too, and students can apply for the same. B.A. Programme in Political Science and Economics here provides analytical, research, communication, and problem-solving skills. Graduates can pursue careers in public policy, research, consulting, development, media, education, and administration.

Infrastructure: There are air-conditioned classrooms, library, computer labs, and Science labs. There is also Wi-Fi service across the campus along with badminton, lawn tennis, and basketball courts, which foster sports capabilities as well as academics. There are many informative and productive events to take part in that help you gain experience.

Faculty: One of the best things about the college is the faculty and the academic excellence. You get the privilege to learn under professors who are experienced and prodigies in different fields. The difficulty level of exams can vary from easy to moderate depending on your preparation.

Miranda provides a good space.

Placements: Placement opportunities for B.A. programme students are available through Miranda House Placement Cell. However the college does not publish a separate placement percentage for B.A. Programme. In 2024, the college recorded 95 students placed overall, with a the highest package of 24 LPA and an average package of 9 LPA. Recruiters included BCG, KPMG, Accenture, Barclays, ZS Associate, ICICI Bank, Nation with NaMo, PwC, etc. Roles included policy associate, analyst, research/analytics, consulting, operations, marketing and management. The college also facilitated 217 internships across various sectors.

Infrastructure: We are provided with all the basic facilities like good classrooms, AC in almost all the classes, library, Wi-fi, etc. I'm not an hosteler. The food served in our canteen is average in taste like good-good. We have medical room in our college in case of an emergency.

Faculty: Teachers are well-qualified and knowledgeable. The are helpful in nature. Teaching quality is also good. I think if a student studies consistently, then semester exams in the college are not that tough. My subject teachers provide us the necessary reading for the subject.

Placements: Miranda House provides good placements and internship opportunities. Out of the total students who secured placements, B.A. Programme students constituted 16.4 percent. The top recruiting companies are Nation with NaMo, ICICI Bank, ZS Associates, Teach for India, and many more. The top internship companies are Paperboat, PrepMinds, AptiDude, and more. Excellent fresher experience.

Placements: Even as a fresher, Miranda puts a lot of emphasis on internship opportunities. In fact, as of 2026, first-year students can now opt to enter a programme where they can secure an internship for a minimum number of hours. The placement cell also allows first-year and second-year students to intern.

Infrastructure: The infrastructure across Miranda is of excellent quality. While not all classrooms have ACs, most do. The infrastructure across the departments is very good. I'm also enrolled in the IT Skills and Data Analysis SEC. The computers are clearly new and work extremely well. In fact, none of the classrooms have any broken tables or chairs, which is pretty rare for a DU college.

Faculty: I can vouch for professors in the Economics and Political Science departments. The B.A. programme students and the honors students have the same professors, and they don't discriminate between either. Professors are also very welcoming about doubt sessions. We can approach them at any time and don't need to wait for tutorials.

A dream that's worth chasing.

Placements: Miranda House offers excellent placements and internship opportunities. Last year, the highest salary package offered was 24 LPA. Top companies like ZS Associates and ICICI Bank also take interest in hiring our students. Through society volunteering, we learn skills which are useful for our internships.

Infrastructure: The infrastructure of Miranda is fantastic. Cleanliness is taken care of. It's so aesthetic and photogenic, you'll fall in love with it. Classrooms are well ventilated and lit. We also have a library which has books, magazines, and newspapers. We have 4 eateries, and they are good and budget-friendly.

Faculty: Teachers of Miranda are highly knowledgeable and respectable. They are quite approachable and student-friendly. They make every concept clear and simpler in their explanations. Apart from academic lessons, they also give us valuable lessons for life.

Worth your time, money, and efforts.

Placements: I don't know particularly about placements, but I do know that big companies offer placements in Miranda House. I don't know particularly about the percentage of students who are placed in my course. Students from a Science background get internships, to my knowledge. Top roles offered in my course are RBI Officer, working in Parliament, and NITI Aayog.

Infrastructure: Infrastructure is very good in our college. We have Wi-Fi, drinking water facilities, fully AC classrooms, plenty of classrooms, and ventilation in classrooms too. The college is also very spacious. Trees are taken care of constantly. The environment is safe, clean, and spacious. I am not part of the hostel. I feel the infrastructure in the hostel is also good.

Faculty: Teachers are very helpful and experienced. They always try to cooperate with students. They help clear students' doubts and also give many solutions to problems based on their experience. The course curriculum is relevant for competitive exams. It is above average to hard.

Other: I chose this course because I love to read more about the humanities. I am pretty much satisfied with the opportunities provided by my college through societies.

I love Miranda House, and there is no better place.

Placements: Many students get placements towards the end. The highest package is 23 LPA, bagged by Political Science students. The average package is around 7 LPA. Top recruiters include government institutions like NITI Aayog. Top roles are in political consultancy. Roles are offered in the economic domain as well.

Infrastructure: Facilities in my college are very good. Air-conditioned classes are there, along with good Wi-Fi connections. The library and digital resource centres are well-equipped as well and are very helpful. The hostel is very aesthetic. There is no curfew, but AC is not available. Common washrooms are present.

Faculty: Teachers are very helpful, qualified, and knowledgeable as well. They passed out from top educational institutions and have strong academic backgrounds. The curriculum is very informative and relevant to the needs of the present hour. Semester exams are moderate.

Other: I love both the subjects and want to pursue both. Fests are top-notch.
