Number one choice for a student who wants to study.
Placements: Miranda House doesn't provide any kind of placement for students, but it does provide internships, which help students gain industry experience. They do provide an internship of around 30-40 thousand per month. They provide lab assistant roles for students.
Infrastructure: Miranda House is one of the most beautiful college campuses on the North campus. This university provides high-tech labs, clean and big classrooms, and it also has a huge library that has all kinds of books that provide students with all the information for their course. They have a huge canteen, and provide small medical facilities like bandages and painkiller tablets.
Faculty: Exams are very easy to score because teachers are very helpful, they taught students from the basics, which helps students to understand everything about the topic. Teachers are highly qualified and knowledgeable, they are among the best in their subject, so they provide good quality teaching.
Other: I am a huge nature lover, so I want to gather information about flora and fauna. If I could improve our course, I would like to increase the practical time.

It's the No. 1 women's college in India, with a NIRF rank of 2. It's a tier 1 college.
Placements: We've 10 seats in my course. No idea of a package related to my course, but if someone does a PhD, then she/ he can be a professor, and that's a very good profession. Rather than the professor, you can go for competitive exams like UPSC, SSC CGL, bank, rail, SSC CHSL, etc.
Infrastructure: My hostel is really beautiful, and the food quality is good, better than the average hostel. There are a doctor's and a psychologist's chamber in my hostel.
Faculty: Teachers are really helpful, and I'm Bangali and my course is also Bengali, so I feel at home when I'm with my faculty. Also, there are a few students, and it is the smallest department in our college, so individuals get extra care from the teachers. There are 4 teachers for Bengal. 3 for the core paper and 1 for the AEC language course. As Bangla is available in our college, Bengali students can choose Bangla as AEC. Unlike the other DU colleges, it's not mandatory to choose Hindi as AEC for the Bangalis.
Other: My future goals are something else, so I chose literature for my graduation. Fest is really amazing. The tempest, and there are a lot of fests in our college.

Overall review moderate. Don’t come with a lot of expectations, guys, or you will be disappointed.
Placements: I am a fresher, and it has been just four months since I came to college, so I don't have much information about placements. But as I have heard from seniors, the level is good. I will try during my time here in college. I will definitely let others know later, as I don't think it is good to review something I don't know well.
Infrastructure: The infrastructure overall is good both in college and Miranda’s Hostel. The library, DRC labs, medical facilities, and classrooms have very good infrastructure and facilities. The food in the canteen is good, but the same does not apply to hostel food (average – not too terrible and not too good). The Wi-Fi, like in most colleges and hostels, fluctuates a lot. Everything else in terms of infrastructure is good.
Faculty: Teachers are helpful, qualified, and knowledgeable, but please don't expect teachers like in school here. Everything is very formal. The course curriculum is relevant according to me, but a little more practical and real-life things can be added. I haven't given any semester exam till now, but they are approaching in December. As much as I have heard, they are tiresome (don’t know about easy or hard) because you have to write 6–7 pages for a single answer, which can be challenging.
Other: I chose Political Science (H) because I find the subject very interesting. Miranda has one of the best Political Science departments in DU. The best thing is that you get to learn a lot, both academically and through the societies of the department. I think the thing that can be improved is the number of assignments given. It becomes hectic sometimes to manage classes (as we have to maintain a minimum attendance of 68%), societies, and personal preparation if we are preparing for any competitive exam. Seniors are like friends here, and one or another event keeps going on in college every day.

Miranda House: A prestigious institute of Delhi University.
Placements: Placement is overall good on campus. Every year, almost 5 to 6 students from each course get a good placement. The highest package is approximately 7 LPA. Every semester, internship programs are held on the campus. The internship is for almost one month every time.
Infrastructure: B.Sc. hons. Physics is a good course. Wi-Fi facilities are very good and available across the campus. Labs are well managed with all the instruments. The quality of food is also average in the hostel. Hostel fees are very affordable, i.e., Rs. 60,000 per year, which will be submitted in two installments.
Faculty: The faculty is well-educated. Professors had almost 25 years of experience. They are well known for their research programs. They are very educated and teach us in a way so that we all understand it very well. Semester exams are not that difficult to pass.
Other: B.Sc. hons. Physics is a good course to go for. The best things about this course are that it is an understanding course. Events are held very well on the campus. The crowd at DU is amazing.

Review of Miranda House, Girls' College.
Placements: Placement is very good in the institute. 30 percent of students got placement in this course. Some go to do their fourth year in the institute. The remaining students got a Master's. The highest package is approximately 7 LPA this year of our course. B.A. students got good placements compared to us.
Infrastructure: The facilities of the institute are amazing. They help us in lab work also. Lab staff also helps us a lot in doing our experiments. Wi-Fi facilities are available throughout the campus. But sometimes the Wi-Fi facility does not work properly. Classrooms are big and spacious.
Faculty: Teachers are helpful. Many professors have an experience of approximately 20 years. Some of them were also doing research. They also solve our doubts. Semester exams are of an easy level. Semester exams are held twice a year. Passing marks are 33 out of 90, which is not a big task to score.
Other: B.Sc. hons. Physics is a good course. We can do research after this course. In college, they also teach us coding languages, which helps a lot.

Q:   How much percentage is required for admission to Miranda House?
A:

Up until 2021, UG admission at Miranda House were completely based on the merit scores obtained by the students in Class 12. Till that time, General category students with less 90 had almost nil chances of getting merit-based admission at the college. While the minimum eligibility percentage was very low, final admission was extremely competitive at Miranda House owing to its skyrocketing cutoffs. However, starting 2022, this scene has changed drastically. Final admission now for UG courses has nothing to do with the percentage obtained by students in Class 12. To be eligible students are only required to pass Class 12, appear for CUET UG and qualify it. Those who will meet the cutoff will be offered admission here.

Q:   Is there a way to apply to Miranda House offline?
A:

No, there is no offline method of application at Miranda House. All the candidates must apply through the centralised entrance exam's official website, i.e., the official websites of CUET UG and CUET PG exam. After the COVID years and after the introduction of CUET UG and CUET PG for admission to Miranda House and other DU-affiliated colleges, the application process has shifted full-time to the online mode. Candidates can register on the official websites of the respective exam, fill out the online application forms, pay the course-wise application fee and appear for the exam to become eligible. For final admission, shortlisted and pass-out students of CUET UG and CUET PG are required to register on the CSAS portal for final admission and seat allocation process.

Q:   Is CUET exam date announced for admission to B.A at Miranda House?
A:

National Testing Agency (NTA) will announce the CUET 2025 exam date anytime soon at nta.ac.in. It is expected that CUET UG 2025 exam will be held in May/June. The exam will be conducted in multiple slots each day. The number of CUET exam slots will depend upon the number of candidates registered for the exam.

CUET 2025 registrations will commence at cuetug.ntaonline.in. Candidates willing to appear for the CUET for admission to UG courses of Central, State, Private or Deemed universities must fill the online application form to appear for the CUET 2025 exam. Only registered candidates will be able to appear for the exam as per the schedule.

Q:   Can I choose only 3 subjects in CUET UG for Miranda House admission in 2023?
A:

No, an applicant can choose a maximum of 10 courses of each university for the CUET UG test. The application fee also varies according to the number of programmes selected. The different slabs of CUET UG 2023 application fees are three programmes, seven programmes and 10 programmes. During the CUET 2023 application correction window, students can change the courses or increase or decrease the selected courses.

As per guidelines released by DU (affiliating university of Miranda House, candidates must take DU CUET 2023 only in subjects that they have cleared in Class 12. There are a total of 13 languages in which a student can appear for CUET UG 2023. These include Tamil, Telugu, Kannada, Malayalam, Marathi, Gujarati, Odiya, Bengali, Assamese, Punjabi, English, Hindi and Urdu. The subject choice of student seeking to get into Miranda House must be in accordance with the interested courses a student wants to pursue.

Q:   What is the BA Hons (English) cut-off for Miranda House?
A:

There is no cutoff released for BA Enlish (Hons) courses started 2022. For BA (Hons) in 2021, however, the lowest cutoff released stood at 99 per cent and the admissions closed right after the first round of cutoff released for General category candidates. For other reserved categories, the percentage requirement was comparatively low. While the admission process has completely changed for DU UG admissions starting in 2022 and for the academic year 2023, the competitiveness and quality of students selected for admissions have not changed. So, it can be believed that the students seeking admission to Miranda House should have scores competitive to 99 per cent marks in Class 12 to increase admission changes.

Q:   Can I take admission in two different courses at Miranda House after the declaration of cutoff?
A:

No, candidates seeking admission to Miranda House or any other DU-affiliated college cannot take final admission simultaneously in two different courses after fee payment. However, during the registration process for CSAS and while appearing for CUET UG, students have the option to select multiple course options. Having said that, final admission can only happen for a single course.
