Up until 2021, UG admission at Miranda House were completely based on the merit scores obtained by the students in Class 12. Till that time, General category students with less 90 had almost nil chances of getting merit-based admission at the college. While the minimum eligibility percentage was very low, final admission was extremely competitive at Miranda House owing to its skyrocketing cutoffs. However, starting 2022, this scene has changed drastically. Final admission now for UG courses has nothing to do with the percentage obtained by students in Class 12. To be eligible students are only required to pass Class 12, appear for CUET UG and qualify it. Those who will meet the cutoff will be offered admission here.
No, there is no offline method of application at Miranda House. All the candidates must apply through the centralised entrance exam's official website, i.e., the official websites of CUET UG and CUET PG exam. For other reserved categories, the percentage requirement was comparatively low. While the admission process has completely changed for DU UG admissions starting in 2022 and for the academic year 2023, the competitiveness and quality of students selected for admissions have not changed.
