JSPM's Rajarshi Shahu College of Engineering review.
Placements: Placements at my college are very good. All students get internships in the 3rd year. The placement ratio is good. The training placement cell of my college makes all students industry-ready from the first year itself. Companies that visited our college are TCS, Capgemini, Infosys, etc.
Infrastructure: The infrastructure of our college is good. Some classes have smart boards. Labs are in pretty good condition. Our hostel facilities are good. In the library, all the needed books are present. Rooms are hygienic. But, the sports infrastructure is not very good.
Faculty: The curriculum of the college is specially designed by the industry. All faculty members are good, highly qualified, and experienced. Their teaching techniques are very useful to students. In each semester, two exams are conducted by the college. We have mid-semester and en-semester exams.
Other: Overall, the college is good.

Improvement in Technical Life.
Placements: 98% of students from IT and CS are placed. 1 Cr is the highest off-campus package and 10 Lacs on-campus. The top company that came to college was Amazon. 80% of students got internships in Accenture, TCS. Consistency in lectures. Faculty members support us in any problem and provide solutions.
Infrastructure: Wi-Fi, labs, classrooms, library, MAC lab. Good quality of food at the canteen, sports. There are too many clubs to join for students. I am in the club "The HIP-HOPPERS." There are too many technical clubs also like ECELL, GDSC, Tedx, etc., and Rangabhumi, Sambhav, and Rotaract.
Faculty: Teachers are helpful and knowledgeable. They put in too much effort for teaching. Yes, Professional English communication and other languages like Japanese, German are taught in college. Some questions are tough, and some are average. The pass percentage is 40%.
Other: I believe in developing the country with new technologies. One of them is coding, so I chose Information Technology. Daily practice in labs. Not too many events.

It's a pretty decent college.
Placements: 70% of students are placed with the highest package of 27 LPA and the lowest of 3 LPA. The top recruiter is TCS. Around 40% got internships. Roles offered are junior engineer and related staff. You can get a decent placement if you work hard, as it's in Pune, so you know.
Infrastructure: We have Wi-Fi, labs, and a library. There are no medical facilities available, apart from an ambulance. We also don't have our own playground, so we share one with a school affiliated with our college. Additionally, there's a sports festival. While we do have a hostel, the rooms are small and can't accommodate all students.
Faculty: As of the first year, the faculty are not that good, more like average, they are qualified but not that knowledgeable. No help from the guardian faculty member. She is just there to shout at you and just call for attendance. Exams are moderate and require 40% of total marks to pass.
Other: I chose this course because I thought it would be best for future scope.

Review of Rajarshi Shahu College of Engineering, Pune.
Placements: Roles offered for my course can vary from management and leadership roles to tech roles, which recognises what you are best at. IT students have more scope in overall placement as we can always choose our roles according to our preferences. I also met an alumni who got placed with the package 25 LPA, so what we get depends upon ourselves in the end and that's what our guide told us in our journey till now on the JSPM RSCOE campus.
Infrastructure: Wifi at the college hostel is not available; that is the only thing that is not available. Rooms are clean, and there are washing machines for washing clothes. The regime is strict; there is no issue of ragging; there is an anti-ragging board for that. Overall, the hostel and infrastructure are good for its price.
Faculty: What is asked in an exam is asked from the notes provided in the classes prior to exams. Exams are easy for those who have a basic understanding of that subject. Papers are checked by the teacher who taught you so we have assurance for the steps we are using in the exam. Having an autonomous college has its own benefits.
Other: There are many scholarships and events. There are not many festivals throughout the year. It would be better if the syllabus was more lax than it is now.

Faculties are decent, but they need to be unbiased, and marking isn't transparent.
Placements: Percentage of campus placements is very low, especially for non-technical branches. For IT and CS, it's decent but still low. TCS is the main company that hires in bulk. The percentage of girls getting placed is good as compared to the boys. With the increase in the population of students, the percentage will go even lower.
Infrastructure: College building is getting older and needs renovation in years to come. A decent-sized Library is there. There's no playground for students, and sports are not promoted much. The food court and canteen are available but a little expensive and small. The food isn't that great.
Faculty: Some teachers are quite helpful, friendly, and good at teaching. On the other hand, some senior teachers have favoritism and aren't that helpful. Subjects are mostly course-relevant, though I can't say they make students industry-ready. The exams are a little on the easier side, but the checking is absurd. While there are specific marking criteria, every teacher gives marks on their will, which affects the CGPA. Also, there are often many mistakes in paper checking, and many times they aren't corrected even after reporting. The pass percentage is 40%.
Other: There are a couple of fests every year. The surroundings aren't that great. The college doesn't provide any scholarship directly; you have to apply on mahadbt, etc. I chose IT to study coding as I want to be a web developer.

The exam is held in February, May, September, and December, which allows candidates to prepare and plan for it as well as for MBA admission. In each of these four months, the MAT is conducted in CBT, PBT, and IBT modes. Candidates can choose a date and a mode of exam based on their preparation and convenience.
