Decent academics, room for growth.

Placements: The college started just 2 years ago and therefore there aren't any states. It comes under the PCET umbrella so they promise centralized placements which provide good opportunities. The first placements will take place in the year 2026 and then the data will be available.

Infrastructure: The academic buildings have good facilities including immaculate classrooms and centralized AC labs, and the library is well furnished with ample amount of space for sitting, consisting of a wide range of resources including books. Regarding the hostel: The girls' hostel is on the campus whereas the boys' hostel is located 3kms away from the campus, the college provides transportation facilities if you opt for a hostel. Hostel rooms are well maintained but the food isn't good. Also, the hostel has nothing close to it in the 2km radius.

Faculty: The teaching quality at the college is decent, with well-qualified and responsible faculty members. Since the college comes under PCET, there is a clear focus on appointing competent and accountable teachers. The faculty is generally helpful, and students usually do not face major issues regarding academic support. As for the semester exams, they are relatively easy. Students need to score only 24 out of 60 to pass, and the chapters-wise weightage distribution makes it easier to achieve this minimum mark. Even if a student fails, the college provides two additional chances to reappear for the same exam.

Other: As the college is just 2 years old, there are no active clubs and almost zero extracurricular activities. Events are also close to zero, there's no freshers party, just an annual cultural and sports event. The college is really far from the city and has no localities near it, the nearest train station is 3km away from which you can get a train which reaches Pune in an hour. They do offer some scholarships based on your JEE and board score for the first year.

Review of Pimpri Chinchwad University.

Placements: There is no placement record yet because this university is new. But it comes under Pimpri Chinchwad Education Trust, and their placement records are actually good. So, you will get the best opportunity to get a placement on campus if you are actually good. Of course, they will provide you with opportunities, but you have to be at your best.

Infrastructure: It's an average campus. We have Wi-Fi, labs, a library, and well infrastructure in labs. You'll find a proper scenery spot and the weather is good here. You will enjoy the weather, but not the college life much. But the whole campus is not fully ready, so it could be developed later.

Faculty: Faculty is pretty good here. They give their best to students and focus on each and every student. Being a first-year student and a late joiner, it was difficult for me to understand the subjects. But they helped me a lot, and everything became easier for me then.

Other: You should definitely join this college. It's value for money.
