The National Institute of Fashion Technology (NIFT) Bhubaneswar is a well-known fashion and design campus that was founded in 2010. India Today 2022 has placed NIFT Bhubaneswar at 15 positions. The National Institute of Fashion Technology (NIFT) in Bhubaneswar provides undergraduate (UG) and postgraduate (PG) degrees. Yes, admission to BFTech course at NIFT Bangalore is completely entrance-based. Students who have passed Class 12 or its equivalent with Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics from a recognised board are eligible to apply for the course. The institute shortlists candidates on the basis score obtained by them in the entrance exam conducted by NIFT. The test includes General Ability Test (GAT). NIFT 2025 cut off list will include details like the opening and closing ranks of candidates for each participating institute and category. Among the various categories for which the cut-off would be released include General, SC, ST, OBC-NCl, Domicile, and PwD categories. The opening rank is the highest rank for which the seat has been allocated. On the other hand, the closing rank is the minimum rank for which admission is allocated. Only such candidates who secure a rank equal to or higher than the closing rank will get admission.

NIFT 2024 tentatively in the 1st week of November 2023. The application form will open online at niftadmissions. In. NIFT Bengaluru has 190 BDes and 38 BFTech seats. NIFT Bengaluru is one of the leading fashion design colleges in India. The admission cut-off for the institute tends to be higher, so the candidate must have a high merit rank to have a good chance of admission. Admission to both the BDes and BFTech courses at the institute will be conducted on the basis of the merit rank of the candidate in the NIFT 2023 exam. Candidates seeking admission to the BDes programme need to appear in the CAT GAT and Situation Test. However, BFTech applicants only need to take the GAT exam.

NIFT lateral entry admission provides an opportunity of NIFT education to candidates who have completed their Diploma/Degree in relevant / related fields of Fashion Design & Technology for direct admission to the third semester of UG programmes of NIFT at NIFT campuses as listed in Annexure III. The candidates who have acquired Diploma/Degree will compete at an All India Entrance Exam to get lateral admission in the 3rd semester of UG programmes of NIFT. The admission to these candidates will be strictly on merit which will be prepared based on the performance of candidates in written test, studio test/technology aptitude test, and a personal interview. The candidates selected through lateral entry will join the regular UG students of NIFT in their second year for seats listed in Annexure III.

Master of Business Administration in Fashion Designing also known as MBA or Master of Fashion Designing is a two-year Post Graduation program which is aimed at helping students in developing the skills which are required to assess business opportunities and create new ventures. The Master of Fashion (Design) gives you the platform to extend your fashion design practice, culminating in a unique body of work, such as an extensive fashion collection that will be publicly showcased. This program will enable you to develop your knowledge, proficiency and expertise within a global fashion environment, underpinned by an in-depth understanding of the social and cultural shifts and how they impact the fashion system.

NIFT entrance examination is Institutional based examination which will only help you to get into NIFT whereas UCEED is a common Entrance Examination which is accepted by many design colleges and universities. So if you plan to get into only NIFT then you do have to give NIFT Entrance Exam but if you plan to apply in many universities then UCEED is a better option as you'll have many university choices and you can get admission on the basis of UCEED score.
