NIFT Entrance Exam

Age

Maximum: 24 years

Other eligibility criteria Up Arrow Icon

Work experience: 2-year Full Time Industry Experience in the related field is required after completion of a 1 or 2-year diploma; 1-year Full Time Industry Experience is required after completion of a 1-year diploma. Age: Maximum age should be less than 24 years as on 1st August of the year of admission. Upper age limit may be relaxed by 5 years for SC/ST/PWD candidates. Admission is provisional if qualifying exam results are awaited.

Entrance Test
Eligible candidates need to appear for the written test that is General Ability Test (GAT) conducted by the National Institute of Fashion Technology.
Studio Test
Shortlisted candidates will be called for Studio Test based on the score obtained in GAT.
Personal Interview
Shortlisted candidates will be called for Personal Interview based on the score obtained in Studio Test.
Final Selection
Candidates are selected based on GAT and Studio Test score and performance in personal interview. Selection parameters and weightages: General Ability Test (GAT): 40% Studio Test: 40% Interview: 20%
