NIT Arunachal Pradesh is an integral part of the NITs. Although the institute is not on the same level as the top NITs, it still has amazing faculty and curriculum. Students can opt for the M.Tech programme offered at the institute if they want the NIT tag and experience. However, there certainly are other institutes, albiet not NITs which have a better environment and curriculum. You can consider the institute if you don't get in any other NITs. But those who wish to pursue the programme can look forward to decent packages, amazing faculty and an overall satisfying experience. 

GATE CCMT R1 has been released for admission to the M.Tech courses. Candidates seeking admission to the NIT Arunachal Pradesh M.Tech course must secure a rank between 353 and 438 under the first cutoff list for the General category students. Specialisation-wise Round 1 cutoffs are given below for NIT Arunachal Pradesh:

NIT Arunachal Pradesh cut off 2025 was concluded for ME /MTech admission based on GATE entrance exam score, followed by CCMN counselling. The cutoff was released as scores for different categories belonging to the AI and HS quotas. Additionally, you must qualify for the Graduate Aptitude Test in Engineering (GATE) examination, followed by the counselling process for selection. 

To have M.Tech admission to the courses offered at NIT Arunachal Pradesh, candidates need to visit the official website of respective conducting bodies of national-level entrance exams and fill the application form in online mode.

According to unofficial online sources, a large share of NIT Arunachal Pradesh alumni is placed in the Engineering sector with a 40% share. Participants in NITAP must get in touch with the exam cell if they miss the internal exam. They will be given the option to argue their case for skipping the internal exam.
