A review on National Institute of Technology Arunachal Pradesh.

Placements: The placement cell of the college is working pretty fine and expecting a drastic improvement since permanent director already took charge and the permanent campus is set to start functioning. Last year, a bunch of students from various streams managed to get placed in some of the reputed companies like Vedanta, Bharat Petroleum, ZS Associates, Cummins India, Hero, TCS, L&T constructions, First American, Infosys, Wipro, Ashok Leyland, Power Grid, BSNL, Havells, etc. For more details, visit www.fb.com/tpc.nitap.

Infrastructure: At the moment, the college is working on the temporary campus at Yupia and expected to shift to permanent campus at JOTE by the next academic year. Though the campus is temporary, it has got all the required facilities like Wi-Fi connectivity, library, A/C conference hall, canteen, medical facilities, and decent classrooms. There are around 7 hostels for boys and girls around Yupia with Wi-Fi connectivity and mess. Around 12 buses were provided for the smooth transportation every day by the college, and the facilities are pretty decent for a temporary campus. Earlier, the food quality was worse, and after the appointment of the permanent director, the quality has increased significantly.

Faculty: The best positive point in the college is that there are plenty of highly qualified faculty members and some of them have years of research and industrial experience. However, there are some whose teaching skills are not up to the mark. In my basic and applied science department, all the faculty members having PhD from institutes like IITs, ISI Kolkata and ISM Dhanbad. However, there are plenty of faculty members position remains vacant across all the departments. My course is MS in mathematical physics, and frankly, it has got excellent syllabus which pretty well covers everything for the CSIR NET examination and other competitive exams.
