STEP 1: NITJ Application Process 2024

To apply for MTech at NIT Jalandhar, students are required to apply via GATE. The process of application for GATE 2024 consists of three steps, i.e., registration, form filling & document uploading, followed by payment of application fees. Follow the below steps to fill the GATE application form:

NIT Jalandhar MTech Application Process 2024: Important Documents

The documents to be submitted during the application procedure are:

• Aadhaar Card
• Class 10 mark sheet and pass certificate
• Class 12 mark sheet
• UG mark sheets and pass certificate
• Entrance exam scorecard
• No Objection Certificate from current employer (for a sponsored category)
• Proof of payment of application fee
• Category certificate (if applicable)
• Proof of income (in case of EWS candidates)

STEP 2: Selection Rounds

NIT Jalandhar admission to MTech is done through GATE entrance scores. Candidates are selected through their past academic scores and rank obtained in GATE exam.

STEP 3: Counselling Process

After the commencement of all the selection rounds, candidates have to register for CCMT Counselling process. The final seat allotment is done through CCMT Counselling. Further, if seats remain unfilled, then the vacant seats are filled with the department-level entrance exam conducted at NIT Jalandhar.
