Great college for admission.
Placements: Almost all students of our college from the CSE, IT, ECE, and Electrical branches got placed. Our top recruiters are TCS, Wipro, Cognizant, and Accenture. The average package is 4 LPA and the maximum package this year is 29 LPA from Juspay. Software engineer roles are offered the most by companies. Companies look for internships before recruiting students.
Infrastructure: The facilities and infrastructure of our department and college are top-notch. Our full campus has free Wi-Fi for everyone. The classes, labs, and library are equipped with good resources like good PCs, software, smart board, projector, AC, etc. Unfortunately our college has no hostel of its own but a lot of flats, PGs, and mess are available near the college for residing.
Faculty: The teachers of our department and college are very helpful, frank, and supportive. They are good scholars and researchers of their respective fields and always help students with any of their doubts. The curriculum which is taught in the course makes you industry-ready. The exams are also taken based on this curriculum. If one studies for 2 hours daily they can easily pass the exams with a good CGPA.
Other: The campus has the best minds from all over India. We have different clubs that organise different fests, events throughout the year, like cultural fest, teach fest, freshers, and sports events. If you're planning to take admission in this college go for it because you will make good memories and pass with flying colours.

Good placements, supportive faculty, and active campus life.
Placements: I am from the B.Tech IT batch of 2028. Around 75% of students are placed from our course. The highest package is 18 LPA, the lowest is 3.5 LPA, and the average stood at around 6.5 LPA. Top recruiters included TCS, Infosys, Wipro, Cognizant, Capgemini, Accenture, Amazon, and Tech Mahindra. Nearly 60% of students secured internships, mainly at companies like TCS iON, Infosys Springboard, and startups. The top roles offered were Software Engineer, Full Stack Developer, Data Analyst, and System Engineer.
Infrastructure: Our department has modern classrooms, Wi-Fi enabled campus, well equipped computer labs, digital library access, and project labs. The infrastructure is updated regularly to match industry standards. The hostel facilities are good, with decent Wi-Fi, medical facilities, sports grounds, and common areas. The mess food is average, though the canteen offers better options. Sports facilities include a cricket ground, a badminton court, and a gym, which make campus life active.
Faculty: The faculty members are helpful, approachable, and most are highly qualified M.Tech/Ph.D. Teaching quality is generally good, with emphasis on practical learning. The curriculum is industry oriented with electives in AI, Data Science, and Web Development, ensuring students are industry ready. Exams are moderately difficult, testing conceptual understanding. The pass percentage is high, around 85 to 90%, as teachers guide students well and provide ample study material. Our 4 year B.Tech course fees are 6.97LPA.
Other: I chose this course because of my interest in coding, software development, and data Science. The best part is the balanced curriculum and placement opportunities. I wish the mess food and hostel Wi-Fi speed could be improved. Scholarships are available for meritorious and economically weaker students, which really helps.

It has great sports facilities, faculty, but a low variety of internships. Good placements in 2025.
Placements: A huge number of students got placed in different companies like TCS, Cognizant, and some big names like Amazon, Intel, and IBM. The average package ranges from 6-7 LPA. Many students with good scores and great capabilities get internships.
Infrastructure: The whole campus is fully Wi-Fi enabled. It has great air-conditioned labs, but hostel facilities are not so good. It has one canteen, but the price is okay. If the price were a little less, then it would be nice for students. It also has medical facilities for emergencies. Labs are fully equipped with the latest technologies and apparatus. The lab technicians are well-trained and very professional.
Faculty: Teachers are well-qualified and knowledgeable. They help students to solve problems and understand concepts practically. Some industry visits are conducted for more engagement by students. Exams are sometimes a little bit tough because they don't provide any weightage in chapters they say in the syllabus.
Other: The course will provide a good knowledge of software development and new technologies, so I chose it. It will provide the correct practices needed for current companies. Tech events and fests are a great time to gather together for enjoyment as well as learning, which they take good care of. Sports and games facilities are also available. It has a badminton court, volleyball ground, cricket nets, and football facilities. It also has all types of indoor games.

The college has good placements and supportive faculty with excellent campus infrastructure.
Placements: In our batch, around 75-80% of students got placed through campus recruitment. The highest package offered was around 12 LPA, the lowest was around 3 LPA, and the average package remained around 5-6 LPA. Top recruiters included TCS, Infosys, Wipro, Cognizant, Capgemini, and Accenture, with some product-based companies also hiring. About 60% of students secured internships in reputed firms, either through campus or off-campus drives, in companies like Amazon, Byju's, and various startups. The top roles offered were software developer, data analyst, system engineer, and business analyst.
Infrastructure: The infrastructure of the college is quite good, with well-maintained classrooms, computer labs, and a library that provides sufficient resources. Wi-Fi facilities are available throughout the campus, making it easier for students to access study material. The hostel is decent with proper security and basic amenities. The mess food is average but hygienic, and the canteen provides multiple food options at reasonable rates. Medical facilities are available inside the campus, and a doctor visits regularly. Sports and cultural activities are also encouraged, with facilities for both indoor and outdoor games, which makes student life more engaging and enjoyable.
Faculty: Faculty members are knowledgeable, supportive, and most of them hold good academic qualifications. They explain concepts clearly and are approachable outside class hours as well. The curriculum is updated as per university guidelines and covers the required technical subjects, though sometimes it feels more theoretical than industry-oriented. Semester exams are of moderate difficulty. Not too tough if students attend classes and study regularly. The pass percentage is generally high, but scoring top grades requires consistent preparation. Overall, the teaching quality and curriculum make students fairly ready for placements and higher studies.
Other: The campus life is lively with cultural fests, technical events, and sports activities that give students opportunities beyond academics. Peer groups are diverse and supportive, and connectivity to the city is convenient. However, the campus could improve by organizing more industry interaction programs and increasing internship opportunities. One of the best things about the course is the balance of academics and extracurricular activities, which helps in overall personality development. I wish the college focused more on practical exposure and skill-based workshops, which would further benefit students in being industry-ready.

Good placements in CSE and ECE, teachers are average, some teachers are very good.
Placements: In terms of percentage of placements, 80% students got placed. TCS is the top recruiting company, but also there are Wipro, cognizant, not that big companies come here. Data scientist is the highest role that has been offered. The highest package off campus is 62LPA, the lowest is 3LPA, and I have no idea about internships.
Infrastructure: College premises are small, and there is no hostel facility. Labs and libraries are good with proper air conditioning, but in the rain, it is too messy. Sports availability is low, and also, not all teachers are good and for courses CSE, IT ECE, these are good, and facilities are available.
Faculty: As it is under makaut, the exam timing and questions are not well planned. Course related curriculum for CSE and ECE is good, but for other departments, it is not that good. Semester exams are difficult just because we do not get the question pattern, that is why it is difficult.
Other: Events are good as per the fees, and also, the best thing about my course is that there is no attendance pressure, we get the SVMCM scholarship.

This college is actually good for you if you want to go ahead with engineering in the future.
Placements: Majority of the students in my course at this college got placement. The percentage is more than 80%. I don't know exactly, but the monthly salary of the student with the highest is in Lacs. And the average salary is also near about 5 LPA. Many students from our college got jobs in TCS.
Infrastructure: There is a strong Wi-Fi connection in the college, and we can use it completely free of cost. For different subjects, we have different labs here in the college with all the instruments required. We have a library from where we get the books we need for our studies. The quality of food in canteen is really well and the facilities of sports and games are so good too Food available in mess are good.
Faculty: Teachers are knowledgeable. Most of them have done Ph.D. in their subjects. They are helpful and connected with everyone via WhatsApp group, or you can message them whenever you need. They always try to communicate with everyone in class. This course makes students industry-ready. Students can get jobs, then promotions, and grow more and more. Maximum students pass the exam. The semester exam isn't that tough if you study well.
Other: I chose this course because I felt interested in this course, its subjects, and activities. And about events, there are many events to celebrate, and the freshers party is one of them.

It has really good infrastructure and facilities.
Placements: So basically, I'm from the 2028 batch, and my assigned course is B.Tech. in Information Technology. On average, 65-70% of students in my branch are placed on campus every year. The top recruiters are TCS and Infosys. The highest salary package offered ranges from 22-25 LPA. The average salary package offered ranges from 5-6 LPA. The lowest salary package offered is 3 LPA.
Infrastructure: Facilities provided in my college are decent compared to what should be there in every college, including Wi-Fi, a reading room, a library, a canteen, and a chilling zone. Apart from that, the infrastructure of Netaji Subhash Engineering College is decent. There are a total of 4 blocks with four to 5 floors in each of them. There are no hostels of NSEC as it is located in an urban area, so we have to stay in the campus area.
Faculty: Teachers are quite surprisingly qualified, knowledgeable, and filled with a lot of experience. One can expect a good teaching quality and environment here. The course curriculum is always relevant here, which helps students become industry-ready. The difficulty level of the semester exams is slightly above medium.
Other: The course in which I'm currently studying is recommended to me by WBJEE counselling. I didn't choose this college and this branch on my own. There are 4 to 5 clubs in our college. It hosts exciting and refreshing events, fests, and tournaments. Extracurricular activities are also targeted here. Scholarships are also available here.

Good IT course, nice campus, helpful facilities, and well-managed.
Placements: Information Technology is the top branch at NSEC. 80% of students get placed in various companies like TCS, TCS Digital, Accenture, ITC Infotech, CTS, Virtusa, etc. The average package is 6.5 LPA. The highest package in 2025 is 20 LPA at Geeks for Geeks. Top recruiting companies are TCS, CTS, and Accenture. NSEC doesn't provide any internships, but the college guides us on how to get internships easily. 70% of students get internships at various startups.
Infrastructure: The infrastructure has good classrooms, labs, and a big library. The canteen is decent. Sports games are available. Wi-Fi and other facilities are useful. The college doesn't provide any hostel. Medical facilities are also available. Overall, it's a good college.
Faculty: Faculty members and mentors are very helpful to us. The teaching quality is really good. The course curriculum is a foundation. It helps us to survive in the industry. Semester exams are of intermediate level. If you stay consistent and disciplined, then it's easy for you.
Other: I am a lateral student, and my course duration is 3 years in the B.Tech Information Technology branch. I personally feel that IT is the top branch in NSEC. The college organizes events, fests, Zest, and hackathons as well.

Yes, you can take admission in this college without considering your rank in WBJEE. You can apply through JEE Main rank, or also through management quota (direct admission).
