Very satisfied and lovely.

Placements: I am from the B.Tech CSE CS batch of 2025. Around 90% of students got placed in our course. The highest package offered is around INR 9.5 and 7.5 LPA from Infosys and Capgemini. The average package range between 4 LPA to 5 LPA, while the lowest can be around 3 LPA. Some mass recruiters offer 3.5 LPA roles. Top recruiters include TCS, Infosys, Wipro, Accenture, Capgemini, IBM, Commvault, Amazon (off-campus), Tech Mahindra, and PWC.

Infrastructure: CSE department has well-equipped labs, projectors, air-conditioned classrooms, and access to software tools. Wi-Fi is available, although speed can vary. Central library is spacious and has good resources. Hostels are decent, cleanliness is maintained, and each room has basic amenities.

Faculty: Most faculty members are well-qualified, and a few are Ph.D. holders. Teaching quality is average to good, depending on the professor. Some teachers go the extra mile, especially in final-year projects. The curriculum is updated regularly, aligned with MAKAUT guidelines, and includes industry-focused electives. Semester exams are moderate, with regular study, most students pass. The pass percentage is around 85-90%.

Other: I chose CSE because of my interest in programming and the strong placement records. The best thing is the opportunity to grow through internships and extracurricular activities. It could improve the speed of administrative processes and provide better exposure to startups. Overall, its a good college if you make use of the available opportunities.

A short and to-the-point review of Haldia Institute of Technology.

Placements: More than 90% of students are placed, with the highest package at 27 LPA and the lowest at 3 LPA. The average package is between 5-6 LPA. Top recruiters include Wipro, TCS, IBM, Cognizant, and Infosys. A 100% mandatory internship is required for all students. Software development, ethical hacking, data science, and engineering are the top roles offered in our program.

Infrastructure: The entire campus has 24/7 Wi-Fi, a large quiet library, well-lit and digital classrooms, and fully equipped labs with all necessary facilities. Free ambulance services are available, and the mess and canteen offer cheap and good quality food. Many restaurants are located across the campus.

Faculty: All faculty members are knowledgeable and supportive. They are either conducting research or pursuing further studies. The curriculum is current, and there are many other courses available to choose from, in addition to your enrolled course. Semester exams are relatively easy thanks to the teachers, with nearly 90% of students passing on the first attempt.

Other: The promise of 100% placement attracted me to choose this course. A bit more advanced technology should be implemented. The campus is vibrant and alive, with events happening daily, ranging from cultural activities to workshops.

Faculty members are best and great placements.

Placements: 90% of students got placed in our course. Average package offered is 4 LPA. The highest salary is 33 LPA. Top recruiters are Capsitech and Accenture. 100% of students got internships last year. Top role offered is cyber security analyst.

Infrastructure: Facilities are excellent and the college has a well designed infrastructure. It has a separate lab for every department. Classes are updated with the latest technology. Hostel has 3 beds in the room. Hostel is very cheap as well as mess is very cheap and provides decent quality food.

Faculty: Faculty members are well-qualified and very helpful. They teach everything essential for the course. The course syllabus is nearly perfect and makes students industry-ready. In every semester, 3 class tests are conducted for every theory subject and 1 viva is conducted for every practical subject. Exams are not much hard and not too much easy. Pass percentage is 40%.

Decent campus, some of the seniors being bizarre, decent placement states, etc.

Placements: According to news that flutters on the campus, 90% of the students get placed during the campus of the college. The highest salary in 2024 was 33 LPA, while the average salary was 7 LPA - 8 LPA. Top companies include TCS, Capgemini, and Accenture. Internship status is also decent with some of the people getting paid internships as well. Top role offered in the domain is cyber security consultant.

Infrastructure: Facilities and infrastructure in the department can be described as the best among all the departments in the college. Hostel facilities are decent enough with a bit of seniors disturbing issues. Mess facilities are decent too according to the fee. Sports facilities are not very promising and a lack of medical facilities on the campus.

Faculty: Teachers in my course are helpful. In the first year, we faced some bizarre issues in teaching by the SASH department. The curriculum in the first year does not make students industry-ready. Semester exams are moderate. Apart from all this, some teachers are very rude to students, especially in the first year.

Other: Apart from the good things discussed a couple of problems include some teachers being very harsh, and some of the seniors being very disturbing to the juniors.
