B.Tech. in Electronics and Communication Engineering - Batch of 2028
4.0
The NIT diary from ECE branch.
Placements: 56 percent of students got placed from our college. The highest package is 50 LPA and the lowest package is 8 LPA. The top recruiters are Nvidia, Qualcomm, and Intel. Majorly, girls are candidates for internships in Nvidia. The top roles that are offered in our course are chip designer and verification engineer.
Infrastructure: The infrastructure is too good compared to other colleges. There is complete availability of Wi-Fi with smart classrooms and a library, where you can access a computer for your personal work. Also, the mess food is good as the standards of NIT, none can even complain about the mess food. There is a dispensary and a complete sports facility, as recently there was an inter-NIT tournament on the outer campus.
Faculty: The teachers are highly qualified, they have studied from top IITs and NITs, which itself shows their capabilities in the field of education. The curriculum of electronics in B.Tech is just the basics of the electronics world. The exams are to test your knowledge, but in reality, they are just a test of how much you can mug up the things.
Other: I chose this course to become a good electronics engineer. There are 2 major events tech and cultural events, as well as a national scholarship. There are many clothes that allow you to follow your passion.

The next top institute of India.
Placements: In my course, 87.6 percent of students are placed. The highest package is 67 LPA, the lowest is 8 LPA, and the average is around 18 LPA. Top recruiting companies are Microsoft, Nvidia, and Google. Almost 50 percent of students have internships this year. The top roles offered are SDE, Data Scientist, and Business Analyst.
Infrastructure: Hostel facilities are available for all students who want them. Sports facilities include a football ground, cricket ground, table tennis court, badminton court, and basketball court, along with many indoor sports. Labs are accessible with permission from the authorities. Wi-Fi is available 24/7. All classes have smart boards. The library is small but has enough books, though seating space is limited. In the hostel, a night canteen is available, and medical facilities are accessible day and night.
Faculty: All faculty members have at least a Ph.D. They explain topics well and are highly qualified. They have strong knowledge in their fields and use PPTs and visuals to teach. They are good at solving doubts if asked. The course is well-suited to industry level, though some subjects from other departments are not very relevant. Semester exams are moderately difficult. Around 90 to 95 percent of students pass every year.
Other: I chose this course because it has good potential and supports my career advancement. I wish more trees and greenery, as there is a lot of pollution in Delhi, or that the college authority could provide air purifiers. We have many events and fests in the college. Overall, it has great environment.

Perfection does not need any review of placements.
Placements: As you know, NIT Delhi is one of the fastest-growing NITs in India. So, as the growing speed of their placement rate is also increasing year by year across all departments. Its placement rate reached 100 percent in the last few years. In the CSE department, there is 100 percent placement rate in 2025, with 58LPA the highest and 18.27 LPA the average package.
Infrastructure: There is an issue for boys that their hostels are 6 km away from the college, which is why many students are not enjoying their campus life efficiently. Food quality is extraordinary. All classes have a separate Wi-Fi system and all labs have an individual system for each student.
Faculty: There are so many teachers who are knowledgeable and helpful for us in all our activities. All teachers teach us like a beginner, and they give relevant knowledge to us and make difficult exam papers so that we can analyze our problem-solving capability very efficiently.
Other: I chose this course because I think it was the best choice according to my rank in JEE Main. I wish to add other programming languages to my curriculum. There are several activities held in college, like sports, events, Zeal, fests, etc.

A brief of the NIT Delhi.
Placements: Almost all the ECE students are placed well in both core and technical areas. The average package is 10-12 LPA. The recruiting companies are Microsoft, Samsung, Wipro and more. Some students are placed in the same company where they intern. Many tech companies are also coming for only the CSE branch.
Infrastructure: The college is under construction, so sometimes it does not feel that comfortable. But the new hostel is awesome, where the LAN facilities are also available rather than Wi-Fi. The mess food is not that good. There is also a night canteen. The college provides many sports and gym facilities.
Faculty: Most of the teachers are PhD holders (all experienced) and very humble in nature and supportive. The course curriculum has changed in the last two years to include new subjects like AI, machine learning, etc. There are two exams in the semester, mid sem and end sem.
Other: The events and fests are awesome, which give the full college life vibe.

I had two valuable years at NIT Delhi.
Placements: NIT Delhi has a great placement record each year. The average salary offered is one of the highest among all NITs. The highest package offered in 2024 was 62 LPA, and the lowest package was 16 LPA. The average package was 17 LPA. Companies like Adobe, Amazon, Microsoft, and Deloitte visited the college for placements.
Infrastructure: At NIT Delhi, construction is undergoing. It has shifted to a permanent campus, and it is a well-furnished campus. All LTs ( lecture theatres) are air-conditioned. Labs are well-equipped and have all the required equipment. Currently, there is only one hostel for boys and one for girls. The other hostel is expected to be complete by August 2025. Sports facilities are good. It has most of the sports courts and grounds.
Faculty: NIT Delhi has one of the best curriculum systems, as the NEP ( new education policy) is implemented here. All faculty members are PhD holders and experienced in their respective fields. Exam patterns are suitable for students. There is not too much pressure for the curriculum.

I have to say about placements that NIT Delhi has a good record and average salary is 12.5 LPA.
Placements: We are the first batch in NIT Delhi in the department of mechanical engineering. We will pass out in 2026 as a student of first batch in mechanical branch. We don't have seniors to guide us for placements and others so we have to do our best by ourselves. We are the seniors but I have to say that our faculty members are too good here.
Infrastructure: Courses are completed at the end of the semester as we all know our college has recently shifted to the new campus at Bakoli village. So infrastructure is all new and according to the new beautiful design. All facilities are provided better than expected.
Faculty: Faculty members are too good. But the criteria for maintaining the attendance is at least 75% which I think no student wants. Most of the day scholar students are not even able to attend the lecture due to the busy traffic in Delhi on time. So it would be very difficult to attend the lecture for day scholars. Also, if they don't allow in the exam if attendance is less than 75%.
Other: The reason for choosing this branch is that I come from a rural background where I see so many physical things like automobiles, other machines, and materials. All these things motivated me to go into this field. One more thing is that my rank is also around to get into this branch for college like NIT. I want to come to Delhi to pursue my degree that's why I chose this college.

College life at NIT Delhi is overall a good experience.
Placements: Almost 95% of students get placed here. Top recruiting companies like Amazon, Google, Flipkart, Meesho, Walmart, etc., provide good placements to software students. Core companies like Bansal, Tata, and Reliance also offer good opportunities. Internship opportunities are provided to the students.
Infrastructure: The course infrastructure and syllabus are best. Facilities available in labs and library are also good. The food quality in the mess is good. Sports and games are also great. The mess and canteen provide food at an affordable price.
Faculty: Teachers are helpful and supportive. The curriculum is also relevant to real-world problems and makes students industry-ready. The semester exams are not very difficult, based on the syllabus. The pass percentage is 33%.
Other: The best thing about the course is that it makes you industry-ready. The practical knowledge and information it provides are relevant to the real world. Events and fests are usually organized here. Scholarship facilities are also available for students.

Food in mess is bad. 5 students share a room.
Placements: Percentage of placement in my college of my branch is more than in any other branch. It's about 89% and the highest package of this session is currently more than 55 LPA and the lowest is 9 LPA. Big MNCs like Microsoft, Google, Amazon, Flipkart, and many others come for placements and internships. Top roles offered here are SWE.
Infrastructure: Wi-Fi connectivity in hostel is not that fine but it sometimes fluctuates, in library or any other it's better than hostel. Classrooms are fully centralized and smart boards are available. The quality of the mess food is not good and the canteen also doesn't contain many items. Sports facilities are very good at this college. There is almost every game and there are coaches for each game.
Faculty: Teachers are very helpful in terms of studies and some teachers are very strict with their course. They try hard to make students industry-ready. If you want to know about the difficulty of semester exams it varies according to teachers and subject. Many times pass percentage is between 75% to 100% but sometimes it degrades up to 50%.
Other: I would like to pursue my career as an electrical engineer before and after when I came to this college. I got to know that the company related to software visits more than the core companies so because of placements I would prefer to go on the software side. I would say that there must be a fest in a year. College doesn't conduct any kind of fest or other sports fest. There are many clubs in college and many of them are currently active such as photography club, cultural club, and tech club.
