It is the best NIT in India.

Placements: NITK was the top college in terms of placements. You just have to maintain the grade. You should not worry about placements because there is a 100% placement record. The minimum salary package offered was 5 LPA. The salary package can go up to 60 LPA to 70 LPA, depending on which branch you are in.

Infrastructure: It had one of the finest infrastructures in India. All classrooms had good benches, smartboards, and projectors. The hostel rooms were good. Hostels were equipped with high-speed Wi-Fi. The hostel room...

NITK, the 4 years of the dream rollercoaster ride.

Placements: Nitk comes under tier-1 institutions in engineering discipline so placements and internships scenario is of top class. Students who are completing their 6th semester of b.Tech are eligible for placements. Talking about placement and internship scenario of 2022, all circuital branches i. E. , cs it, ec, and ee have 100% placements, and core branches like chemical, metallurgy, and mining, leaving 2-3 students, rest are well placed, mechanical despite having a batch strength of 160+ more than 90% p...

Completely satisfied by faculty members, very nice placements this year, excellent infrastructure.

Placements: Last year, average package was 12LPA, which was increased to 20LPA this year. So, you don't have to worry about the placements at all. Top recruiting companies are Adobe, Isro, Microsoft, Deloitte and many more. The NITK racing club of the college is just mind blowing.

Infrastructure: Course infrastructure was good but hostel was like hostel. It differs from block to block. Wi-Fi is 24 hours on. Medical and sports facilities are excellent. You can find almost all sports from throwball to cricket. All indoor and...

Awesome college for Bachelor of engineering. Campus life is good for students.

Placements: About 95% were placed last year and this course has 2 batches, one is CSE and CSE-information Science and average CTC is 17lpa. Other then course, internship is allowed in summer after 2nd sem and very few are allowed to go do internship here in department.

Infrastructure: The campus is well-built with all faculty members like Wi-Fi, with indoor sports and has 2 grounds to play sports. Hostel rooms are fine and departments are too good with lots of recourses. Food quality is okok and has both veg and non-veg se...

It is an excellent college in terms of placements.

Placements: Placements are excellent in our college. It is a well-known college in terms of placements. All students who applied for placements got placed in our college with good salary packages. The average salary package offered for the CSE course is above 20 LPA. The lowest salary package offered is above 13 LPA.

Infrastructure: The hostel facilities for first-year boys are not good. It is a triple sharing room, but it has 2 tables and 2 cupboards only. Restrooms are not neat. Sometimes there is a shortage of water in the hostel. The Wi-Fi speed depends upon the location of your room. If your room is near the router, then the speed will be very good otherwise it is not good. There are two messes for the first-year boys. They provide vegetarian and non-vegetarian food items. You can choose either of them, but you can eat...

And end of the 6th Semester you will be placed in a PSU like Coal India. So you have one year to think what you want to do in your career. There will be options like CAT Civil Services or pursue a career with Investment Banks through campus placements. Even Coal India like big mining companies were always complaining about the shortage of mining graduates to our Training & Placement Department. Now you can assume how is mining engineering at NIT Surathkal.
