You should join NIAT at AMET.
Placements: I am studying B.Tech CSE at NIAT, which is in collaboration with AMET University in Chennai. This is the first batch of NIAT at AMET University. Although the placements in other collaborating universities before this are impressive. That's what made me make a decision to join here. Several companies like Amazon, Zoho, Meta, and Google have recruited from NIAT. When talking about internships, students crack it mostly in their first and 2nd year itself. Some of the top roles offered are Software engineer, Cloud computing, and several other roles related to the industry with high packages.
Infrastructure: The facilities provided by NIAT are great. We have smart classrooms, plug points in desks, and projectors. The classrooms are fully air-conditioned. The quality is good. But while talking about the hostel, it's simply not worth the money. It has no facilities that could be raised. There are no basic facilities like laundry. The food is decent. But overall, the hostel experience is just not good.
Faculty: The teachers and the quality of teaching are top-notch. They are well-paced with knowledge and open-minded. We could discuss all of our ideas without the threat of judgment. They are so supportive in all aspects. Also, the importance of holistic development is appreciated.
Other: I chose this course as I was interested in developing my own products and pursuing the path of entrepreneurship. I wanted cutting-edge knowledge to move forward. The best thing is the curriculum and the way of studying, which totally differ from traditional colleges. The events are good, the crowd, connectivity, and the surroundings are great. We are currently working on different clubs and extracurricular activities. But the agenda contains more that will be unfolded.
