College is accredited by A+ by NBA in 2023 in its 1st cycle. You should definitely take admission.
Placements: PCCOER can't be ignored by the students when it comes to placements. Companies like park mind, KPIT, KSB, Mahindra and many more huge companies are there to recruiter you guys. The highest package was about 8LPA in Mercedes for mech engineering & min 3L.
Infrastructure: The college campus will not attract you anymore but the teaching staff, teaching methodology, placements will. The mess and canteen facility is very good and having classrooms with internet connected and projectors helps students to learn faster. You will be provided proper guidance from the faculty as everyone of them have a specialized skills in their respective subjects.
Faculty: You will not regret about the teaching faculty members as most of the staff is Ph.D. pursuing and some of them already bagged their Ph.D. Recently one of our professor bagged 2nd rank in MPSC, one of our faculty is a authors and have more than 3 patents. Moving further towards the exams then it's upto you how you study, teachers will help you no doubt but passing the exam is totally depends on you.
Other: I chose Mechanical engineering because I enjoy studying near machines. Taking Mechanical can provide you the req skills which other courses cant provide. A mech engineer can work in core company or you can switch it into IT jobs by learning languages but then why you are taking Mechanical?

It is a very good college for placements.
Placements: I've applied to this college for a bachelor's degree in mechanical engineering. I am going to graduate from this college in 2023. Top recruiting companies like Tata, Mercedes, Philips, Mahindra, Kirloskar, Cummins, etc., visit our campus.
Infrastructure: In our college, facilities and infrastructure are good. Wi-Fi, digital classrooms, computer labs, and the library are good. The quality of food served in the canteen is good. Various sports, games, and medical facilities are available.

This college has the best academic department.
Placements: Around 100% placements in this college for all the departments. Many foreign countries are coming for the placement of the students in the college and many Indian companies too. Our college stands in the top 5 placement criteria. I'll always refer to our college for any engineering course.
Infrastructure: Best hostel facilities. A good and healthy environment in the surrounding. Best canteen facilities. The rectors of the hostel are a bit strict all the rules and regulations in the hostel must be followed. All the facilities like Wi-Fi and hot water are provided.
Faculty: The well-known faculties are provided. They look towards the overall growth of both academics and practical knowledge. Technical knowledge is a must in our college. The semester's examinations are a bit difficult but this is the best in overall academic revision.
Other: Events are organised each semester.

Our college is strict and disciplined, but it is worth it after 4 years.
Placements: In our course, about 70% of students got placed. The highest salary package offered is 9 LPA and the average salary package offered is around 3.6 LPA - 4 LPA. The top recruiting companies are Capgemini, TCS, Wipro, Accenture, UNO Minda, Faurecia, Dassault Systems, etc. Almost 50% of the students got internships from our course.
Infrastructure: Facilities and infrastructure available for the course are good which include classrooms, labs, a workshop, and a library. The hostel and mess facilities are good and can be improved. Sports and games facilities are good for sports enthusiasts.
Faculty: Professors in our course are helpful, qualified, and knowledgeable. Their teaching quality is good, and they can clear all the doubts of students regarding the course. The recent curriculum is very good for the students and can make students industry-ready. The semester exams are not difficult if the students prepare well. The passing percentage is 40%.
Other: Being enthusiastic and curious about machinery and cars made me choose this course. The best thing about the course is that it has a lot of practical aspects. To make it better wider focus should be on recent trends in the industry. There are many events in the college throughout the year which include Expression, three days fest with a traditional day, a theme day, and lots of fun activities. Many extracurricular activities are carried out at the university level.

It has less than average placements for civil and mechanical branches but good for CSE.
Placements: According to the current situation, there are very fewer recruitment drives for the mechanical and civil branch in every college as compare to other branches. Up to 9 to 10 students were placed up to 7th semester. But TPO of the college said up to the end of our final year many recruiters would visit our college. Top recruiting companies are TCS, Wipro, Cognizant, IBM, Tech Mahindra, Capgemini, Dassault System, etc. Many more other companies visited up to 7th semester, and various core companies are going to visit here according to our college TPO.
Infrastructure: It has an average infrastructure. Labs, classrooms and library are excellent. Wi-Fi is not available for students, but college is going to make it available for students very soon. The hostel is not very good, and it is far from the college. The mess of the college has very limited options. It is not too bad, but it is average. The college has a very small playground.
Faculty: Teachers here are not very helpful. They are qualified, but college is very strict about attendance which makes our college life very bad. Attendance is a priority for college than extracurricular activities. Theoretical knowledge does not make a student industry-ready. College makes our life very bad by giving more term work than other colleges. For every punishment, they will give you extra assignments which are the worst thing about college. If you get less marks in UT, then you need to write assignments then they will conduct 2nd UT. After that prelim test. If you fail any test, you will have to write more assignments.
Other: I made my life the worst by taking mechanical engineering branch. I wish if the college is more helpful for students. Staff members have to understand that writing extra assignments does not make any sense. There is the worst college fest at PCCOER. Campus connectivity is average, and you will easily get a ride to college. The campus is surrounded by farms. More extracurricular activities are not done in this college.

Placements: The important factor which has influenced the placements now is recession in automobile sector. So the number of student placed is not very high in Mechanical rather it is higher in computer engineering and E&TC as well. Until now only 6-7 are placed from mechanical in TCS which offered around 3.4 LPA. Other which visited and allowed from mechanical domain were, Dassault system which offered 4-6 LPA ( Job role offered was related to software developer), other recruiters were persistent, Yardi, Quantiphi (with the highest package of 8.5 LPA) Capegemini (about 36 were placed in Capegemini with package of 3.8 and 6.8 LPA), KPIT as well. Well the highest salary was about 8.5 LPA this year offered by Quantiphi. The average salary is expected to be 3.4 LPA, while the lowest is probably 2.4 by Amazon. The companies visiting campus hardly gives internship to mechanical students, but the college itself force students to go for internship during vacations. I have several friend in computer department which have GOT internship of stipend around 10-15k.
Infrastructure: The overall area bounded by college is not large at all. In all there are four buildings placed one after other. But the carpet area of every classroom is good. There college possess a small ground with open gymnasium there. There is also ample space for vehicle parking. Canteen and Xerox centre are equipped inside the college. The college falls under Developing sector locality. There hardly any cafe, lounge, hotels, grocery store outside college, but they surely fall within some limit of distance. The hostel for boys is just outside the college wherein there are rooms which can be occupied by 4 students (3-4 room). The girls hostel is placed at PCCOE Akurdi. Now talking about classrooms, there is projector well-equipped and the benches are comfortable as well. There are several labs for particular subjects ( like for TOM, DOM, Hydraulic and pneumatic, Mechatronics, Material Science, Machine workshop, thermodynamics, Turbo machines etc.). The library is well-equipped with many books and magazines as well for all type of preparation, like for GATE IAS, UPSC, CDS etc. The library also remains working on Saturday and closes at 5:30 -7:30 in weekdays. Also students can avail digital library inside the college. There is also Wi-Fi availability with high-speed internet as well. Student can also use CAD/CAM labs and other labs to avail internet facility. Food in canteen is good but invariant. The quality is good though. Sports and games are available with students participating in university level sport competition. Few of them enlisted are cricket, football, basketball. There are few multi-specialty hospital also available outside college within 2-3 km.
Faculty: All HOD from all departments are Ph.D. degree. The assistant professor in mechanical department are of high quality. Specially Professor for subjects like Thermodynamics, Mechatronics, SOM, TOM, DOM, Metallurgy and quality control, Material Science etc. The have high core competency knowledge with high quality of teaching. They don't make you completely industry ready with only teaching their subjects, no teacher can do that very well since our syllabus and the industry requirements don't intersect actually. But you will be always encouraged to learn and will also develop some ideas to predict how will things work in industry.
Other: At first, after my junior college, I thought of opting mechanical engineering, since I find it fruitful and evergreen branch. We mechanical engineers are driver of the world. Our learning never go waste and we can utilise it in any domain. There is lot of varieties in mechanical domain as well like design engineer, production engineer, manufacturing engineer. This all facts attracted me. I wish I had more of time to learn what things I have to do when I enter inside industry and how and where do I apply all the laws and formula I had learnt. There are several events organised every year by Mechanical department named YANTRHOLIC, which involves events like aerogliding, contraption, robo-war, etc. The connectivity is less due to unsatisfactory location. While the campus crowd is vivid in true sense. The surroundings won't influence any one at first it is safe and secured in true sense for girls too. There are many extracurricular activities throughout the year organised by Art club and MESA ( student association) and several workshops and seminar are also held throughout semester. Other activities include SAE BAJA, Go-Kart, Tiffan, Robo-con, which are national level events wherein student develop prototypic models or buggies and race them and compete them for several event. The university provide college fee concession by providing several Scholarship for student who took admission via CAP round. Some scholarship are for OBC, SC/ST, EBC, etc. The college may also help in providing certain concession in fees for economically poor students.

A good organisation with excellent staff and faculty, good placement cell really satisfying.
Placements: All the eligible students of computer department were placed. With all other different branches all the eligible students GOT placed. The highest package for computer department was 7.5 LPA and avg salary offered was about 3.6 LPA. Recruiter were Infosys, capgemini, persistent, Volkswagen, TCS, TIAA, mediaocean, atos syntel, tetra Pak etc.
Infrastructure: Wi-Fi, labs, classroom are provided for all departments. All these were accessible to students during and after college hours. Sport and games, technical event were also organized by the organisation. Participation in National event and funding were also provided by college.
Faculty: Yes the teacher, faculty are very helpful and knowledgeable. The teaching quality were very good. Practical knowledge were provided and students were made industry ready was there prime Motto. All the teacher were having ME / M.Tech degree or had done Ph.D.

It is one of the best colleges in Pune to gaining knowledge.
Placements: The highest salary package offered is 27 LPA, and it is good for the computer and EN &TC. Nearly 68 students got the average salary package of 3.7 LPA. Mechanical students are rarely get placed, and last year more students got placed than this year. One girl got placed in Japan, and a boy from mechanical got selected through Bajaj in Mahindra.
Infrastructure: The library is good, and they used to provide books for more than a month. All reference are available that need for the exam and other. Wi-Fi is not available in the college. The hostel is good, and it is near to the college. The college has a small ground. The mess is good. Overall, everything is good.
Faculty: If you want to gain knowledge, you can take admission here. PCET PCCOER is one of the best colleges in Pune University. Faculty members in our college are very helpful and well-educated. The college is ranked 4th in Pune University. Faculty members in the mechanical branch are the best than other Branches.
Other: I choose this college because people told me that college is best than other colleges for knowledge purpose and placements are good.

Lateral entry engineering is nothing, but after completing your Diploma you get admission for direct 2nd year entry your 1st year is waived off. This is known as lateral entry, you can get lateral entry only after completing your Diploma. Hope this might help you.
