The M.Tech course is intended to educate students with the information and abilities necessary to succeed in their chosen profession of engineering. Master of Technology, abbreviated M.Tech, is a two-year professional technical degree programme. It is done following the completion of the BTech/BE or BSc. Each institute has its unique M.Tech curriculum. 

MTech subjects are divided into core and optional subjects. Core subjects are required, whereas optional topics are chosen by students from a list of possibilities based on their interests. The subjects heavily depend on the specialisation of M.Tech Chosen by the students.

To get admission;

Like most colleges, the admission process of PCCOE is based on Entrance Exams.

For B.Tech. programme, the candidate must have a valid score in MHT CET

For M.Tech. programme, the candidate must have valid score in GATE

For MCA programme, the candidate must have to qualify in MAH MCA CET.

• Candidates must have passed Bachelor's degree in Engineering and technology field with minimum 50% marks (45% for categories of backward class and person with disabilities being to state Maharashtra only) 
• Obtained score in GATE conducted by IIT.

The eligibility requirements varies course-wise. Candidates have to pass a minimum of Class 12 for UG and graduation for PG programmes. Below is the eligibility criteria for Pimpri Chinchwad College of Engineering courses:

Pimpri Chinchwad College of Engineering offers admission to candidates based on their entrance exam scores. Aspirants need to pass MHT CET or JEE Main for BTech, MAH MCA CET for MCA admission. Besides, candidates need to have a valid score in MHTCET M.Tech or GATE for admission to M.Tech programme. After the results are out, aspirants can participate in CAP counselling for seat allotment.

After JEE session 2 is completed, only those candidates who are aiming for IITs need to start preparing for JEE Advanced after clearing JEE Main. Those who are above the 98th percentile should start preparing for JEE Advanced as soon as possible. Those below this, between the 95th and 98th percentile, should focus on attempting more mock tests and previous year question papers so that they have a better chance of clearing JEE Advanced
