PGIMER Chandigarh offers thirteen courses under its B.Sc program. The seat intake for each of these courses varies. The total intake for B.Sc at PGIMER, Chandigarh is 182 seats. The seat break-up is as follows:

Admissions to PGI Chandigarh courses are made on applicants’ merit in Class 12 and score in the entrance examination. Once the eligible applicants have given the entrance exam, the selection process begins. The college prepares a rank list of the students based on their entrance examinations scores. PGI Chandigarh then allocate seats via personal counselling. In personal counselling, the candidates who meet the cut off are called to the institute.
PGIMER has not released the 2023 placement details yet. However, the NIRF report 2023 is out. According to the report, 40 PG (2-year) and 165 PG (3-year) students were placed during PGIMER Chandigarh placements 2022. Further, the median package offered to PG (2-year) and PG (3-year) students during 2022 placements was INR 8 LPA and INR 17 LPA, respectively.
Postgraduate Institute of Medical Education and Research eligibility is different for each programme. This depends on several factors. The basic eligibility however, is as below:
