PGIMER Chandigarh offers seven BSc specialisations in the field of paramedical science. These courses enable students to make a career in the field of paramedics. The salary of a paramedic depends on the job profile and respective individual skillset. Following is a list of different job profiles in the field of paramedic Science and the average salary offered:

• Advanced Life Support Paramedics can expect a salary of-INR 3 LPA
• Medical Assistants-INR 3 LPA
• Critical Care Paramedics-INR 3 LPA
• Radiologists-INR 16.8 LPA
• Occupational Therapists-INR 4 LPA

PGIMER admission process is based on entrance score. To apply for admission, applicants must complete Class 12 with relevant aggregate scores for admission to UG courses. Applicants must also hold a valid score in the INICET examination for MD/ MS/ MCh/ DM. INICET is conducted by AIIMS, New Delhi. Admission to MS/MD courses is conducted twice a year and the new session starts in January and July every year. For few courses, PGIMER accepts the admission based on PGIMER entrance test followed by counselling. the application process is completely online. 

PGIMER Chandigarh offers a total of 13 courses under its B.Sc program. Each of the courses has a different seat intake as per the demand and seat availability. The total seat intake for B.Sc as per the reseources as 182 seats. Thus, a total to 182 students can do B.Sc at Postgraduate Institute of Medical Education and Research. 93 seats for B.Sc Nursing with five seats reserved for PWD.
